General confusion seemed to have broken loose on the stage, between sneezes and fog, wind and blindfolds.

While Sylvie made another, more successful attempt at conjuring another cloud, Elsa and Bridget did... nothing? Honestly, it was hard to tell what Elsa did, with the fog obscuring the way, but she certainly didn't cast anything. Bridget also didn't cast, perhaps expecting the Gryffindors to target her in a moment of weakness and therefore focusing all her senses (except that of sight) on what would come (but didn't). Henry, the loyal partner, removed her blindfold in the meantime.

So... that had been entertaining in the most boring way possible. There were now two clouds hovering above the stage, threatening to strike but not actually doing so, still a bank of fog obscuring half the duellists, from which Sylvie could be heard sneezing every now and then, but otherwise... this duel seemed to have slowed down a lot. They were aware there wasn't much time left, right?

When blindfolded, her instinct was to reach immediately for the knot and listen hard. But with a whisper from Henry, she stopped to consider trying something else. Having a partner remove a blindfold was a tactic she'd seen used a few times this year, including just a moment ago by the Gryffindors. It seemed to usually work pretty well, and blindfolds were almost always precursors to a larger attack, so it might be worth it. She gave a quick nod of agreement; it meant Henry wasn't casting, but it was an equal exchange, hopefully negating the lion's free shot.

Only, as Henry untied the blindfold, she heard a single incantation, that of the Weather-Modifying Charm, so not one specifically targeting her. They... weren't using this chance? Even Lucia, while blindfolded herself, had taken aim at a blindfolded Phaedra. Especially with ground to make up, wouldn't they want to take advantage of her inability to see? Well, okay then. Maybe the fog had really dropped their confidence in aiming. "Thank you," she said when Henry finished with the blindfold, even if it had proved rather unnecessary. It was a nice gesture, and in a typical situation, might have been the difference between her getting blasted with a spell or escaping unscathed.

The only change, then, was the presence of a rumbling cloud over their heads, a repeat of their situation earlier on, though that cloud was now hovering over the Gryffindors. Henry asked if she'd expected the move, and she shrugged. She was not surprised by it, certainly; Sylvie had tried it a moment ago and it failed, so it was reasonable to assume she might try again, and it was a good option when she couldn't see very well.

Able to get in on the action again, Bridget adjusted her grip on her laurel wand and squinted into the mist. Where was she?

This was annoying, the fog and all. She couldn't see, but at least she was able to put a cloud over their head. "At least we're not the only ones who can get struck by lightning, right?" She looked to her partner.
"You're doing great, just hang in here a little longer."With that, she readied her wand.

Suddenly, Henry turned into the centre of attention. Sylvie and Elsa, still covered by fog, had identified him as the target they were more likely to hit, but both knockback jinx and fire spell were easily dodged. Bridget and Henry had perhaps decided to just wait for the time limit to be up - they were in better shape than the mildly battered Gryffindors, and fixed Henry up a little more with two quick healing spells.

Not a bad tactic, although a boring one. Dee sighed as she watched the fog slowly dissipate. At least the end of the duel was approaching.

She'd lost a strong sense of where the opposition was while blindfolded, and just firing off a spell and hoping for the best didn't sound like the best of ideas. They were ahead, they needed to play smart. So instead, she turned to Henry. He was not on his last leg, but he'd been burned pretty badly. The worst thing that could happen in the next few moments was losing a teammate, and she imagined he could perform better, too--move faster, focus harder--with his energy restored.

With her cast of Reparifors, flowing easily from her wand, followed by his, he looked significantly better and was quick on his feet to avoid the fire and Flipendo shooting his way out from the fog. The fog that was now faded, opacity decreasing until the Gryffindors stood in plain sight. Sylvie was suffering from the nasty cold Bridget had given her, thunder rumbled over all of their heads, but otherwise any spell effects were gone, leaving only burns and bruises. Like Elsa said, this wasn't over yet. It was still far too early for a victory lap.

Sylvie sighed. Sylvie was thinking the same exact thing as Nicky- They were behind. The least that the two Gryffindor's could do at this point in the duel is add a little flair to the mix while their butts were being kicked, right? Make it just a bit more fun for everyone involved, audience included.
