Santario observed the remaining duellists carefully; it was clear that Lamik and Lily were only just holding on while Everly stood unscathed. Something about the few seconds between this round and the last changed; the air became noticeably thicker as if turning into an invisible miasma. Hair seemed to stand on edge as tension filled the atmosphere with the chaotic energy of a lightning storm about to unleash.

Everly, who had been having difficulty striking Lily, this duel would not see a difference now as the Ravenclaw managed to sidestep the incoming attack. However, good luck would not continue for the bird.

Lamik & Lily would send their own flipendos sailing across the piste, and San could only think of one thing in the second before the strike. If I am going down, you are coming with me. The two would be struck solidly in the chest at the same time, sending both Lion and Eagle careening backward, both landing with solid thuds on their backs. “HALT!” Not that there was much to halt with one person standing.

Santario would take swift strides over to Lily, checking to see if there were any signs that she would get back up because the duel would continue if there was. However, the young girl seemed to be thoroughly unconscious, and San waved in the medics before she rushed over to Lamik only to call the medics to him as well.

As the bodies of the fallen duellists were being carefully extracted from the piste, Santario would make her way to the center and address Everly and the crowd. “With Lamik down and Ravenclaw having no more available duellists that ends this duel. Congratulations, house Gryffindor with a duel well fought!” Admittedly, San would have enjoyed seeing Lily make the comeback and win against all odds, but if anything, the young eagle could take pride in knowing she knocked out the fourth year. With that, Santario stepped off the piste and made her way to report the end of the duel.
