Although he had been benched for the big Hogwarts VS Durmstrang game, Madhup had not forgotten the brutality of their Beaters. He might have made a decent play doing his job as a Chaser, but instead, he and his teammates seemed to see value in taking out a particularly formidable threat. With a sly smirk to the two at his sides, he sailed into the air in search of Griseldis. Hazel eyes narrowed as soon as he spotted her. The flyer leaned into his broom, gaining speed, not so much as slowing when one of his fellow Pinchers fell from the formation. He would do this himself if he had to. Gris nearly swerved at the last second, but so too did he, nailing her with a gruesome, shameless t-bone. The culprit would glance back to admire his handiwork, doing so just in time to see and evade a rogue bludger, avoiding it with a tidy (if needlessly showy) barrel roll. No instant karma for him today, thank you.
When called out for this dirty deed, Madhup wheeled about on his broom, jaw dropping in a totally genuine expression of shock and outrage. He even blurted a loud "WHA-" before opening his arms into a shrug, staring agog at the commentator box. "The Hog Girl flew RIGHT in my way!" the Chaser argued, then gave a dismissive toss of his hand accompanied by an insulted grunt, flying off the field. Evidently he was not too disheartened by this "wrongful accusation", as he used his penalty time to swoop by the spectators, pumping his fists to rally cheers for Hydra. Somewhere, Pericles Dralt booed.
Sorry @Griseldis Edelhardt. I adore you, forgive me someday

"DONT mess this up, Alluring. C'mon." Nikita remembered saying. She remembered it. She did. When she went to a Hogwarts player's side, she trusted Charles for just some time. But, he was distracted. "I SHOULD OF KNOWN!" She yelled angrily. "C'mon Madhup..." She muttered, glaring side ways at the girl next to her.
Success! Nikita turned her broom, reaching out to clap Madhup on the back. She watched the beater fall down down down. "Damn. You hit her real good." She said, only for Madhup to hear. She looked at Charles, throwing up her arms.
She shook her head, and turned to Arjan. She couldn't help but crack a grin as he flexed for the ladies. "not the time, Arjan." But still, she laughed.
Turning her attention back to the game, she watched another girl fall. It was raining Hogwarts player's.STA 6 | EVA 6 | STR 8 | WIS 5 | ARC 5 | ACC 5

"My gosh, I just adore your hair" Akari gushed, a grin immediately growing across her face as Piérre made his way towards her. " 'Course! But do try not to die anyway" She proceeded to reply lightheartedly, though her gaze briefly wandered around to a few of the extremely intimidating players who were still arriving to the pitch. Not that she thought that they stood a chance, but it would probably do some good to be at least a bit wary of them.
"Sure I'll watch him. We'll both be cheering for you from here!" Akari then responded with a laugh as her small hand reached out and gave Figaro's head a soft little pat then coaxed him to come closer to her. She had grown more of a soft spot for cats ever since purchasing her own, plus she didn't mind having a little more company while watching the game in action.
Akari waved goodbye to Piérre as he kicked off the ground, and intently watched as the game commenced. Players zoomed this way and that and she caught a glance of her teammates scoring a couple of goals but before confirming it she was distracted by seeing both their amazing beater rain down from the sky, only one receiving a heroic save. A small gasp escaped her and felt a pit grow in her stomach. This no doubt, was a war in the making.

Taking his place in front of the hoops, he scanned the field nervously, finding himself unsure of how this game would end up being played. A threeway game was not something he had ever seen done before though he did appreciate what the Headmasters had tried to do for him and his remaining teammates. As the Gryffindor team flew out to take their positions they seemed so much more organized than both his team and the Durmstrang heavy Hydras. It made sense, of course, but it also made him very nervous. His teammates seemed nice enough but he really didn’t know what kind of players they were. They wouldn’t have the same practiced teamwork that Gryffindor did.
As the game began he kept a steady eye on the quaffle, preparing for any shots fired. The first came from one of the Gryffindor boys and though he made a solid attempt, Alan managed to sneak it by him. Another attempt quickly followed from another Gryffindor and this one he managed to solidly block. The same boy managed to grab the quaffle again, this time heading for the empty net of the Hydras. Luka grimaced as he scanned the field, noting that the Hydras hadn’t made any attempts to score, instead going on the offensive - including taking a penalty for some shady broomwork. This was going to be a very intense game, it seemed.

First thought; oof.
It was a very oofy game, though Hogwarts seemed to be doing quite well in contrast to the other teams, despite them losing a player and a broom. Everything happened rather quickly; Suzuki barely had time to catch up with what was happening before someone else scored, was hit, or just zoomed around the place, adding to the distraction.
Suzuki winced as Griseldis Edelhardt, one of the beaters, was knocked off her broom entirely and fell to the ground. Not long after (not long at all), Scarlett Aden, the other beater, was bludgered off too. She was saved. Griseldis was not so lucky- her doom sealed by the dull thump that echoed around the field as she landed not so comfortably.
One beater down, the other one's movements slightly restricted. Oh wait. Right. She'd nearly forgotten in the interestingness of watching the quickly escalating match- if one beater was struck down, then she would have to substitute in for that beater. Reaching out, Kage grabbed her broom, and got ready.
She hoped luck, fortune, or whatever you wanted to call it was on her side.

She arrived- to do nothing.
That wasn't true, but it certainly seemed like it. Eyes scanned around the field to watch the game, deciding not to go for the quaffle in exchange for keeping their team in the air. Briar seemed to have made a similar decision, although why Kit couldn't say for sure. Oh well, Lucietta would have to compete one against two, unable to grab ahold. Maybe there would be more chances in the future. Quaffles, however, also meant scores, and...
blocks. "Nice, Luka!" The redhead shouted, quickly turning her attention away as she saw people start to fall. Thankfully it wasn't her team, but it certainly signified a loud start to this game. How full would the medical area be after this?

Hogwarts had scored 20 points, which was good, yet the game was brutal. So much was happening at once, and Haley found it hard to follow it all, let alone rejoice, as her mood was still depressed. But there was one little thing that warmed her heart and put a smile on her face. Her best friend was standing in the stands calling out to her. Haley looked around wildly until she finally found the location of the calls. Gosh, she loved this girl. She blew her a kiss before turning her attention back to the game.
2o points for Hogwarts, Griseldis was out. Three players at once had it out for her and Haley could barely watch. Scarlett knocked it off the broom, but Anastasia was quick enough and came to the rescue. Unconsciously, Haley's leg was bobbing up and down nervously again, her hands folded, her body leaning forward, watching the game intently as she kept her fingers firmly crossed

The game was off with as much clamour and chaos as Evelynn expected. It was utter madness. Dealing with thirteen other airborne players in a regular match was bad enough. Adding another seven to that mix created a veritable cesspool of danger at every turn. How anyone could be expected to navigate without collision would be a feat unto itself. In fact, she suspected blatches might occur even more readily than usual simply as it might be easier to own them than to try to avoid the other players...
For everyone's sake, it would be best for the game to end more quickly than to allow a drawn out match. Right from the gate, the beaters came out swinging. Expecting to be targeted, Evelynn put as much distance between herself and the rest of the chaos as she was able given the limitations. Only one bludger came careening after her, however. And it wasn't, thankfully, quite enough to knock her from her broom. The same couldn't be said for her teammates. A deep-seated guilt took root as she glanced for incoming projectiles to see two crimson forms bucked from their brooms. By the bats in their hands, she recognized them both. They were targeting their beaters.
Blanching, a chill flashed across her. It was a tactic they'd used on a number of occasions. Clip the opposing beaters to secure the offensive line. It had just never been done to them, and it wasn't something she was expecting. At least not expecting so seamlessly on their parts. The foreigners were good. She'd known they were. But it was one thing to hear an anecdotal account from a spectator, and quite another to experience it first hand. There wasn't a lot that could phase Evelynn these days, but this... this planted a seed of doubt, enough to urge her to double down on her frantic efforts to find and entrap the snitch.

The game mechanics seemed to be a little confusing with so many opponents on the field. The near fifth year was a bit troubled by all of the things that were possible but luckily as a chaser he had a clear goal and as such he would push through and secure the quaffle before landing it into one of the available goal posts. Adrenaline rushed through him as he watched the quaffle disappear between the hoops, giving his own team 10 points; he had caught the first quaffle of the game which already seemed like a promising start. Gris however had been caught when she didn't expect it and with a wince the prefect would watch as she plummeted to the ground, meaning she was out of the game. They had to be more careful now as they were one beater down. Alan would eye Arjan suspiciously, a boy he remembered well from the previous year where he had thrown a tantrum somewhat about loosing in a water fight. He seemed pretty strong and certainly not like someone you would wish to have as your opponent.

@Akari Kato, @Griseldis Edelhart, & @Evelynn DecipioRight away, it really was chaos. WHO CAME UP WITH THIS IDEA?!
Hovering near the hoops, Piérre watched his friends take the brunt of the carnage. Immediately, Gris and Scar went down, but not before their valiant attempts were tried. Of course the seeker for Durmstrang would be well-protected, and maybe Lady Luck was not playing nice with them today, but Piérre had the sense that if backed into a corner, their team would lash out and make good on their notorious ability to provide a bloodbath.
Safely off on his own, Piérre anxiously rapped his finders on the edge of his broom. This was not hoq he was used to playing. He was often put in the midst of carnage, not told to hang back and watch. A part of him, self-preservation, sighed at the moment of relief... But another part of him was screaming as Evelynn took a bludger full force.
But he stayed back, watching with baited breath as the game began to unfold. Rearing back as if his broom was a horse, Piérre prepped for the movement and motion of the next surge of game action.
Meanwhile, Figaro had comfortably curled up in Akari's lap, watching the game with half-closed eyes and a deep purr in his throat as he watched Piérre's spastic aerial movements. He loved the attention being garnished upon him by Miss Kato.Doing as StrategizedStats:
