A new beginning . . . or Another Mistake? Complete

Samantha was quite surprised when Ming just talked to Hildegard that way. She wanted to make new friend in a new school, so that moment - being in a compartment wih four different people - was the perfect opportunity for her to do so. However, with the possible rivalry between Ming and Hildegard made it somewhat challenging to accomplish what she wanted to do.

“I wonder if anyone else in this cabin has to deal with being in the minority in a new and strange world, where people do and say the most odd things as if it was normal, and where common sense just goes out the window.”

Samamtha noticed that Ming looked at her when he said that as if he knew what she's been through. Clearly, he didn't; Samantha only got to know this boy for a few hours. He probably got the hint of what Samantha went through from what she said about being normal.

Samantha was not only taken aback from what Ming said, but she also had flashes of her life before Hogwarts.

"Who is this girl? She's our new classmate?"

"Yeah, I know right? Look at her taste in fashion. I reckon girls like her would be as horrid as her."

Samantha shook that first interaction with other girls in her old school off of her head and noticed that Avery was staring at her. She figured that he was probably asking for help since he got stuck in an awkward sktuation. Before Samantha could say something, Hildegard finally spoke again about other things from the Wizardig Worldd. It seems that Samantha had no choice but to listen.
