There is no irl time that the site runs on, each RPG is set at whatever time you wish, just if you rp amenities is set after curfew, a prefect or professor may pop into your thread.

^ HiO is set in present time, however, so while you can RPG as far back in the past as you want to create more of a backstory for your character, you can't RP in the future. 

Okay, so I'm going to be inactive for kinda long now. May even take a couple of months, though not sure. While I'm gone, I do not want my threads to be locked and marked abandoned (I may pop up once a week to reply, but again, not sure). I did post this fact in the Report Your Absence thread, is there anything else I have to do?

To be honest, threads might get locked in that time, simply because there's too many people for all of the Prefects to keep track of who is still active and who isn't. BUT if they do get locked, please just reply to the owl - or link a Prefect to the ones you want revived when you are ready to post and they'll be restored for you. We can easily reopen them for you - just let any member of staff to know to open it when you're ready to post. That's probably the best way.

Hey! So for my encyclopedia I put this handwriting font thing on top of each post but now it just says "Image" . Is there a way I can put the handwriting font there permanently?

Are you sure the image address that you use for the url is permanent? If it isn't, that would explain why.

Players used to be able to host their images on the HiO site. However that became too much of a burden on the server and so that option was removed, resulting in a lot of broken images recently. This is probably what is causing the issue.

To fix it you need to host your images off site on pages like imgur, and edit those new links in.

I often host my images on secret pinterest boards. This way nobody else can see and use them and they won't go away! Pinterest is easy to use and easy to save images onto.
