Prat was born on the 3rd of January 2012, of the union betwixt Artorias Nathaniel Pass and Alicia Pass née Bloodrose in London, England. Born on a Tuesday, the child's arrival only added to the already quite happening and joyful life of the young couple. Both being alumni of Hogwarts had a not so close relation during their early years. However with Alicia graduating earlier than Artorias, both confessed their truths and soon began a daunting journey of pureblood traditions and customs before they were wed at the ages of 21(Artorias) and 22 (Alicia).
While they both settled into their married life, their professional careers continued gaining traction. Artorias continued his work as an Auror while Alicia worked her way towards a dignified post in the Ministry of Magic. Even though both were quite versed in their sports, Artorias' skills in dueling came naturally to him, while Alicia was the better half when it came to broom racing.
With the child growing up, they made sure to raise it with care and love, creating an environment on par to raise the next heir for their family. With their sense of duty towards their child came the importance of imparting necessary traits to him.
Teaching the child philanthropy in his early years, explaining the ill-fated chase towards materialism that usually resulted in a sad ending and general empathy and kindness towards others for simply being.
Formative years of the child's life involved daily tutors, some personal tutelage under his own grandfather where he taught him things, lectured him on history, and proceeded to begin his attempts to influence the child early on with his biased worldview. A tangible problem the child would continue to struggle with later into his life as a wizard. The worst part of his days came when it was time for his martial arts classes. Prat hated those in the beginning for the amount of effort he had to exert with no visible results.
Yet, as he kept on this task, it drilled a sense of discipline into him. Whether this discipline would help him in all his tasks or turn into obsession was yet to be seen. Trained from an early age in Pureblood customs and etiquette, Prat was beginning to be molded into the heir his grandfather had envisioned for the bloodline.

It is only during his Second year in Hogwarts did he find out his relations were more elaborate than he had thought them to be. Finding out how Elisa Shakestra was his second cousin through both their grandmothers was quite a surprise. An unwelcome one to be sure, but soon enough he made his peace with this and went on to build a better relationship with his cousin in the days that came.
During the winter break of his second year, while he remained on the muggle side of london with his maternal aunt, his father quit his job as an Auror and went back to helm their family business while his mother remained with her ministry job, however taking her much needed break now that she was so close to having a second child soon. His father's decision to quit his days of adventure were seemingly influenced by the news of this arrival as well.

Reason for Reapplication: Rewriting/Improving a previously approved family history and compiling some of the other approved changes, namely, the locations mentioned, Cordelia's change of last name as well as some additional information.

ReducioThe Voltrouz family is a pureblood wizarding family. In the past, they were Pureblood elitists. The family had a certain gift in Charms and dark arts, making it easier for them to understand and learn about it, although none of them had actually thought of delving too deep into its darkest depths as of now. Due to this talent, the family had made it a rule that the gifted ones are to become Aurors in the future and should only aim for the top. Aside from that, their bloodline should only remain that of pureblood to continue the legacy, to the point that they even force their children to engage in marriage to other pureblood families despite the lack of love between the two. They even banned the establishment of relationships with Half-bloods but mostly Muggle-borns for it will just tarnish their pure bloodline. All of their futures had been pre-determined with no other choice but to follow. Those were the rules that had been established until Vancolven Voltrouz stepped in to try and change everything.
As a young child, Van had been following his family’s tradition as far as he remembers even though their view on blood status wasn’t something he was fond of. Despite that, he played the role of a perfect son for them while questioning his own family’s beliefs, finding them somewhat insulting. He tried to reason with them, but they never listened. Still, he didn’t give up and swore that he would change everything. He’s not fond of not being able to choose their paths either. Some weren’t even happy in becoming an Auror but since it was a must, they all went through with it because if they don’t, they’ll get treated badly by their own family. He wanted to change those to give his family some form of freedom.
Van was then engaged to Cordelia Lavore, another pureblood elitist from the Lavore family. She followed through with the Voltrouz’s beliefs in blood status despite Van trying to change her, believing that he could. But his efforts were all in vain. Finally his chance came when his father got sick and it was only that time that his father had finally accepted that their beliefs had just caused nothing but suffering to those who he had pre-determined their destiny. Van inherited the title of the Voltrouz’s family head, his father believing that perhaps he could help in breaking the shackles of their old beliefs because of how hard he was trying to convince the others. With Van now the head, change began to happen in the family, his dream of giving freedom to the new generation the freedom to choose their own paths, to look beyond blood status began, thus discarding their Pureblood Elitists’ ways. While everyone else was moving forward though, Cordelia remained stuck in the past.
She believes that the bloodline should still remain pure despite her husband’s attempt to change her view. She was stubborn in her own way of preserving the old tradition. Some followed her, some didn’t. She imposed those beliefs onto her children… tried anyway but that didn’t stop Ravi, their firstborn. The boy was the first to marry a Muggle-born and that surely angered Cordelia. She cut ties with him, forgetting about him even, not even treating him as her son despite Van's protest.
Due to this strained relationship, Ravi hates his mother and has made it a mission to continue to spread his father’s belief instead. In a way, he was glad that his children will grow up away from such a toxic mindset as this had gave him enough reason to live away from them. Then again, because of this, the family history had been kept mostly a secret to his daughter, Raizel. The time will come when all of these will be revealed though, perhaps when she’s a lot older.

ReducioAn old Pureblood wizarding family residing in Bicester, England who were once Pureblood supremacists back in the old days, following a strict tradition of keeping the bloodline pure to preserve it. Establishments of relationships between Muggleborns and Half-Bloods were forbidden within the family, often resulting in being erased from the family tree to avoid the bloodline being tarnished. To continue such pure lineage, they made deals with other purebloods, forcing their children into arranged marriage when the right time comes.
Their wealth comes from their family’s services as Aurors and Hit-Wizards within the ministry. It was then made a tradition for them to follow the same path as those who had come before them to continue their legacy and strengthen their influence. This stems from the family’s vast knowledge of Charms and Dark Arts, accumulated throughout the years of servitude and experiences, developing a certain talent for them allowing them to easily understand how they work and learn spells associated with them. This knowledge is passed down to the younger generation through homeschooling as a way to give them an idea of what they will face once their own magical journey starts and continue the legacy of the Voltrouz Family.
Vancolven Voltrouz was the one who changed the family’s culture of purism. As the eldest child of the family head, Albrecht Votrouz, he was the heir once his father stepped down from his position. He felt the pressure at a young age, taught to follow the family’s tradition and to be the ‘perfect’ son that shall continue what they had started and keep the bloodline going. Despite all of that, he still questioned their views. No, it wasn’t only them but the view of other purebloods when it comes to those who weren’t. Aside from that, he wasn’t a fan of having a predetermined path, especially when he heard from some of his cousins how they had other dreams yet their duty and fear of their family held them back. After graduating from Hogwarts, Van was engaged to Cordelia Havertz, a woman from a prestigious pureblood family from Germany as part of the tradition of keeping the lineage pure despite his protest.
Van became the head of the family once his father died of sickness, inflicted by dragon pox that was detected too late. In his last letter to him containing his will and the list of his inheritance, Albrecht apologized to him for all the pain he had caused to him and the rest of his family, realizing how their tradition had done nothing but hurt most of them. He then said that he believed that Van could make the change within the family to give them a better future and a new found freedom. Changing traditions was of course taken with hostility, especially by Van’s brother, Malvery Voltrouz. Much like Cordelia, he believes that they are superior to those who don't share the same pure bloodline as theirs. In the end, Van’s views swayed most of the family but still, there were those that remained to follow the old traditions, Malvery and Cordelia to name a few. Malvery was disappointed in his brother for being the cause of being called as blood traitors.
This clashing view is what led to the strained relationship between Cordelia and their eldest child, Ravi, who had fallen in love with a Muggleborn, Michelle Azrin. Cordelia cut her ties with him out of disappointment, much to Van’s dismay. This led to Ravi living far away from the main Voltrouz Manor, settling down in Souldern after marrying Michelle and starting his own family. The family history had been kept mostly a secret to their children. This had led to them growing up not knowing who their grandparents are but after the day that Ravi got appointed as an Auror and Cordelia and Van’s visit, they started getting to know more from this side of their family.

So me and Mylo have a long-term plot planned, and the backstory is as follows below. Please let me know if more detail/explanation is needed because I'm happy to elaborate. This shouldn't effect anything currently, because all I have written in my ency is that Hazel has a sister, and I haven't RP'd anything with her.

2. Mike and James wanted a kid, and Lucy had accidentally gotten pregnant and was about to go on a global tour with an orchestra, so an agreement was made so they could adopt her child (September 2011).
3. Lucy and Hazel have a big argument about this (Hazel didn't want Lucy to give up her child and said she could take care of them), and the half-sisters go no contact as a result of the argument (November 2011).
4. Lucy has a change of heart about giving up her child, but follows through with the agreement for the sake of Mike and James.

Pax and I have decided to do a long term plot involving our characters find out they're actually related to each other. Like Pax stated if more information is required please reach out!
Backstory:
1. Lucy (Hazel's half-sister, Pax's aunt, and a muggle) moved to the UK from Canada and became good friends with Mike and later James (Mylo's dads) through their shared passion for classical music (circa 2006).
2. Mike and James wanted a kid, and Lucy had accidentally gotten pregnant and was about to go on a global tour with an orchestra, so an agreement was made so they could adopt her child (September 2011).
3. Lucy and Hazel have a big argument about this (Hazel didn't want Lucy to give up her child and said she could take care of them), and the half-sisters go no contact as a result of the argument (November 2011).
4. Lucy has a change of heart about giving up her child, but follows through with the agreement for the sake of Mike and James.
5. Mylo is born on Jan 5th 2012, and Lucy gives him to Mike and James, who legally adopt him. Lucy moves back to Canada instead of performing on tour, and goes off the grid (Jan 2012), unreachable by anyone.
Plot:
Mylo has always seen pictures of their mom, as their parents didn't shy away from telling them about the fact that he's adopted, he would find out either way, and their parents would tell him stories about Lucy. Eventually Mylo finds out that Pax knows Lucy and they go on a quest together to find her and reunite everyone

A broken-hearted family mourned the miscarriage of their unborn daughter. Mr. Remmington was angry beyond anything he had ever been. His anger got in the way of thinking properly. He decided to go to a friend of his and ask him to do something for Mr. Remmington.
This friend agreed to help Mr. Remmington find a child to replace his lost one. They meticulously planned out how they were going to go to a poor part of Dublin and steal a child for Mrs. Remmington. They snuck around the neighbourhood searching for a baby in one of the houses. This is when they found Clarke Olverin. She had been born a few days earlier and the family was very happy. Little did they know that soon they would feel a lot of pain. Mr. Remmington cursed Vivienne Olverin and took her child. None of the Olverins had their wands in the room and they weren’t fast enough to get them. The two men left as quickly as they had come, taking Clarke with them.
Mrs. Remmington and her son, Tripp, were very excited when Mr. Remmington brought Clarke home. Finally, they had a child. They didn’t care how she came to be in their possession, they knew that they would never give her up.
Years went by and Mr. Olverin and his children tried to reconcile with the fact that two of their members were gone. It was hard, but they became happy with what they did have: each other.
With the help of the Ministry, Mr. Olverin found Clarke 11 years later. One of the staff, from a school Clarke used to go to, came to the Ministry with information that Clarke’s forms were wrong. She admitted to knowing the year before but didn’t know what she should do, but finally someone told her to go to the Ministry. The Ministry told him about this information and where Clarke lived, but told him to wait and not go trying to take his child back. He did not listen. On Easter break, Mr. Olverin came to the Remmington’s estate and demanded his child back. The Remmingtons feigned innocence, saying that Clarke was their child.
The Ministry got wind of what Mr. Olverin had done and decided to act fast before the Remmington's made their next move. They filed a lawsuit against the Remmington's. Clarke didn’t go back to Hogwarts right away. The Ministry had to identify Clarke and figure out whose child she actually was. Then she had to be re-introduced to her family and get a few health tests done at the hospital. Clarke also had to write a statement for the Ministry in the case of her parents.
The Remmington parents were sent to prison after the trial but their 18 year old son, Tripp, was let off as they believed he was acting under his parents' authority.

There are somethings I'll need you to give us more details! (:
- Clarke is a wizard born, which means her mother would have also been a witch. This means, with healing magic, you will need to explain hoe exactly did her mother died. Was by giving birth to Clarke and something went wrong, or another reason?
- How did they not know Clarke's real father had another children? Specially so young, they wouldn't be left there and have only Clarke being taken.
- How did her father knew where to find her? Adoption records are kept anonymous for a reason. So how did her father find her after all this time?
- She would not be kept out of school for that reason. She would have to go to school and be excused just for the time she had to attend court. But that wouldn't be for months. Can you be a little more clear about this?
- How did her real father got custody of Clarke, specially with drinking problems? If Clarke was well cared about, why would the court take her Fromm her adopted parents?

Reason for Pending:
First, I know this is a fantasy setting, but things still need to make sense. So there's a couple of things I still need you to edit.
- So, what you're saying is that there is a group of criminals kidnaping children from theyr parents. The ministry doesn't know about it, that group of criminals has been fooling all law department and inclusively, when the real parents ask for help, the ministry refuses to help and says they can't give any information. This doesn't make sense.
1. We cannot assume that the Ministry has never heard of the group, specially if they have been around for this long and committing such crimes.
2. The Ministry has a lot of people working there, you can't just assume all of them are incompetent and would dismiss every ask for help from the children's parents.
3. Why wouldn't the Ministry want to help the parents that got their kids kidnapped? What information would the Ministry refuse to provide and how did they got it and choose to ignore it?
4. You said Clarke's father went through records looking for Clarke. What records? From where? If records where proof, how do you explain that the Ministry kept ignoring evidence that children was being taken from their parents and decided not to act?
5. How did Clarke's father find out about the group of criminals? Once he found them, how did they not ended up immediately arrested by the ministry?
April 7 - Pending
1. We need your actual family's bio. Remember, your character card is a source of truth, so you would be a wizard born regardless. Who was your father and who was your mother. You listed names of (assumed) siblings, is that all of your siblings? I suggest listing your biological family and brief information about all of them, such as name, age, defining characteristics/vocation.
2. We are going to need your actual character name, as you were kidnapped at the age of 1, you would have a different name. What is this name? If you choose to keep Clarke Remmington, why would you IC? This needs to be explained. Please remember that changing your character name does change your account name and we do allow name changes, but there are limitations to the number of times your name can change. This would count as a instance of a name change. I suggest a name change because it makes the most sense.
3. What are the circumstances of your mother's death. You said "something went wrong" but we need an explanation of what. As a wizard, she would have access to healing magic that would make most known fatal complications of childbirth treatable. This will need to be explained. I honestly do not suggest killing your mother, but a ton of players do. This just needs a lot more detail. Muggle maternal mortality is 13.41 per 100,000 maternities between 2020 and 2022 in the UK. I cannot think of a logical reason for a wizard born to die from childbirth so you will have to do some thinking there. I suggest she was either killed or an off-screen suicide due to postnatal depression personally, but the later would be a sensitive subject so it you are nor willing to deeply think about it before writing it, I very much suggest the former. If the later, please explain the circumstances but not the graphic detail of her death.
4. We are going to need additional information about this organization, which is described as a large, careful organization that has not only evaded the Ministry but works within the Ministry. How does this work? The information provided is limited to Clarke's case in terms of victims, but there was indication of a massive organized system and we would need more information on this. Honestly, this makes more sense as a smaller thing. And by small, I mean they are a pair of wizards that wanted a child so stole one. A whole organization would require significant effort which is possible but would need to be heavily explained. Having a pair of persons pass off a young child as their own with forgeries is way more likely. For example, their biological child died so they stole you and claimed you were the child they lost.
5. Clarke's father was looking for her and the Ministry refused to assist them. A single case of negligence or incompetence can be believed, but not the entire organization to that level. Also, there is indications that there is paperwork tying the Remmingtons to Clarke, this does not make any sense and I cannot think of any way to reconcile this. If a parent claimed that someone stole their child and there was a papertrail (how) that suggests that there was an adoption (again not sure how), I cannot see how the Ministry would withhold parental access unless there was SEVERE evidence of abuse and/or neglect that persisted over a period of time, in spite of mediation and resulted in significant harm. It would be a court-ordered level of protection for the child and a criminal case against your character's father. There are inverse cases where parents have given up their children and they have requested that their child not be able to contact them but that is not the case here. I suggest removing this. I suggest going with #4 and that the Ministry was actively investigating this case but they were not able to find the culprits (yet).
6. How did the kidnapping take place in the first place? This needs to be explained. A 1 year old would not be left alone. Honestly, my suggestion would be to have your kidnapping be the cause of your mother's death. This would explain her young death and why magic was not able to save her, she was murdered.
7. How did these kidnappers discover that your character's father had a drinking problem but not that he had multiple children? This does not make any sense. I cannot reconcile this one. As a single father to at least 3 children, one being an infant, he would be seen nearby with his children. My best suggestion is to change this because it does not make sense to again my suggestion in #4. It was never about his drinking. They stole a child.
8. How did your father (without the help of the Ministry) find you 10 years later? This does not make any sense. I honestly do not know how this would even work. In real kidnapping cases, there is no paperwork. I would assume that either a school person or a medical person identified something that did not make sense and contacted the Ministry of Magic. Again, not entirely sure how they would have identified you specifically even with this level of intervention. It takes years and a very high level of science to identify who someone;'s parents are in a missing case. The best I can come up with is someone noticed that the paperwork was 'wrong' and contacted the Ministry. They interrogated the kidnappers and they were able to elicit a confession from them.
9. This went to trial. When? How? If you were found by your father around Easter, there would have been a massive process prior to identify you. Then the process of introducing you to your actual family, the therapy as well as the actual court case... this would take more than a couple of days to accomplish. As these elements have not happened yet, I would not place them in this indexing. I would only write what has happened. My suggestion is to have had a school official identify that your forms are 'wrong' in the fall or early winter. That they identified the Ministry of Magic who performed an investigation and a few weeks later brought your kidnappers in for questioning. Once they obtained a confession, they contacted your father, verified your identity and then contacted you. That this process had been ongoing for months before you became aware of it in Easter. That you were taken out of school for a few weeks to be re-introdueced to your biological family, to be set-up with a counselor and a therapist, evaluated at St. Mungos for any health issues, and be asked to either speak or leave a written statement with the Ministry in the case of your parents.
10.) Why would the Ministry prevent Clarke's father from having Clarke due to alcoholism but he could have his other kids. Why would they allow a child to stay with kidnappers regardless? This does not make sense without additional context. As suggested earlier, I suggest making their alcoholism less relevant because it makes no sense that he could keep his other kids but not you so you should stay with a kidnapper.
11.) What happened to the Remington family after this came to light, it was a rather large organization. I again suggest making this a smaller thing, parents that wanted a baby so stole one. Regardless, I assume prison.

- About Clarke's name being Remmington. Clarke is supposed to know her real father during Easter break, which means she would have only changed name after this. But you already RPed Clarke saying her name is Remmington before Easter time. So if there is a name change, it must be to a different name that is not Remmington.
