By the way, quick question (asked this on here a while ago but as far as I know no mods answered, so just asking again xDDDD), is the Hogwarts Express counted as part of Hogwarts?
As in, could Lucia use a levitation charm to lift her trunk onto the rack or would she get a letter from the Ministry xD

@Lucia Fox In the films they do cast spells on the train. Examples are Hermione in the first film with fixing Harry's glasses as well as Draco casting the body-binding spell on Harry. he has very bad luck..

However, we are going of Book lore. I still would not recommend doing it as there is not a professor there to over look it. If you got a critical fail if you wanted to roll a dice then that would be a disaster. If you want to you can cast a spell but it is your choice.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too, but there are quite a lot of things different on here even from book lore so I just wanted to check.
For example, spellcasting around adults. A pureblood child should technically be able to do magic at home because the trace can't tell whether it's them or the parent/guardian who's using the magic, but on here I think it's different.

I don't really get the whole critical failure/roll a dice thing, can someone explain that? Thanks xD
