yes, yes, this is true! Even if it's not in a topic with another player. You can try writing over your appearance for your character, personality, or even backstory. Or, you can write your character's interactions with arriving at Hogwarts for the first time, the sorting. Or other random examples of your character throughout the day.

Doing fun, quick writing exercises (As Lear has demonstrated above) can also help as well! The internet has tons of great prompts that you could complete in a notebook or on the computer just for practice. I have been writing for many years and still find that writing prompts can really elevate and refine your skills!
