That is the normal times a bean can be found (every 6 hours they change) but lately I've been finding discrepencies (sp?) too. Up until a few months ago, the bean would be there for 6 full hours before it changed again. In my particular time zone (EST) it will and should appear at 6AM, 12PM, 6PM, 12AM. However, lately sometimes I end up seeing someone post the bean at 3PM and when I go look for it at 4PM there is no bean there. But technically the bean should have still been there up until 6PM. So I'm not entirely sure why the beans are disappearing more frequently than usual.

She's meaning it could be influencing the change in obtaining beans.
If you'll remember.. last year, when we were searching for beans and time change had occured (via daylights saving), it affected us all by going back an hour (which meant 6am est was 5am est) to obtain, but I thought that patch was fixed, I might be wrong, but regardless. The beans could be popping up in areas you don't have access to in the meantime as well which could be why its not as common to find for you?
As for the time, I don't exactly have an answer.

True. But it wasn't just an hour off it was like 2 to 3 hours off. Also the times change. Sometimes the bean would be up for only 3 hours, other times it would be up the usual 6. Sometimes it would be up for 5 or 4 hours. Its been changing lately all the time for me and apparently others too. Would daylight savings affect it by that much? If so then wow.

I'd recommend you check out your house common room and looking for the thread that says "Wanted: Duellists". Note: you will need at least two duelling spells, with one of them being an attack spell, in your trunk in order to qualify for the waitlist.
