I think this may have been suggested before, but adding a sub-forum to the 'At the Counter' forum in the Leaky Cauldron specifically for shops. I find it really confusing sometimes when having to scroll through shops, event sign ups, raffles, broom funds, etc. just to find what I am looking for.
The shops forum would just be for shop threads and maybe an advertising thread for the shops to announce specials/deals.
The main 'At the Counter' forum could be used for sign ups for different events and character tags, broom funds, raffles, tutorials, yearbook voting, etc. This would make it easier to find these smaller threads, as well as making easier for people to know which threads would be shops as not all of them are clearly labeled as being a shop.
I understand that this could be quite a bit of time and coding for Zach, along with all of the updates that have been occurring. I also understand that if this is something others are not interested in then it should not be implemented.

So, okay. I'm pretty sure that this idea will be declined, and I'm sure there are many reasons why it won't work, but I'm here to try anyway.
So I noticed that it's stated very clearly in the rules of having inpc from other schools, that you can only have one per account. I understand that there are reasons for this, but I also have some things I want to point out.
Inpc applications seem to open during busy times around seasons when there are balls ic. So ooc, usually there might be plans for writers around that time. Another thing is that there is a limited time to apply for your inpc. Our oc on the site are unique, and planned out. Yet we can deactivate them after 6 months of having them. For inpc, we only get a limited time to write their personality, history, abilities, and try to decide what school they go to. For me, I never get to even begin go think about what I want to do with my inpc. And because our use if them are limited, it's less chance for character development with them.
So basically what I'm proposing is some sort of system to deactivate your inpc, without having to get rid of your oc. I understand that there would need to be restrictions, so there are different things.
1. Restrict the amount if times someone can deactivate their inpc and make a new one
2. Had to of had their inpc post a certain amount of times
3. Simply apply for another inpc and give a reason that their original inpc would be deactivated or gone to another school (just like an application for an ability)
I understand that there are more options, too, but that's all I could think of for now. So I understand that there is likely a great reason that we can only have one inpc, but I still would like to out this out there.
Thank you

Hello,
This is nothing important, could there be a little closing icon on the marauder's map page that allow us to go back to the previous page visited or the entrance hall, if that is possible please ?

Yello!
I just had a notion, shouldn't we have a version of Azkaban? Off-limits to students, of course, but visible. For example, if someone uses Crusio IC, in that case.

We don't actually have a system set for that, I've asked before on Discord.Youssuf Baid wrote: 20 Jan 2022, 10:53 Yello!

It is a system that we intend to develop. we only recently gained the ability to change the backdrop skins for forums. There are a lot of dynamics that we also need to consider for this so that it does not become something where a third of the site becomes a serial killer but at the same time we also do not punish players for being certain archetypes.

Ah. For example, if someone abused their being a lycanthrope IC, how would you deal with that IC?

That- is a unique question I havent seen here before.
I see that would have you tried (if you were an adult) or suspended/expelled (if kid) but, I'm not staff. That's up to staff.

Honestly, we do not have a system. If people did it --right now-- they would lose their character. We have had to remove some spells and abilities from the site because some users argued that they should and would be able to misuse spells in a certain way, rather than forcing them to get a new character we removed the unforgivables.
We have no system for expelled students. No means for them to advance outside of academia. No system for prisons, advancement (if any) or means to escape prison.
