Per some of our rules:
Therefore, as long as you have at least one parent living, or another guardian to take over, you should be good to go. Students have to have a guardian, as well as a home.- There are no orphanages in the modern UK.
- Every child has a caretaker/caregiver/parent/guardian. We do not allow homeless children in this setting.

AFAIK, yes. But it has to be implicit and logical; so for instance no "their wizard father passed due to cancer".

Another quick mention is - remember we have a site rating. Some people go ham with the circumstance and description and I would rather not have to read it, tell you no, hide it from the underaged users and staff until you edit it and potentially argue back and forth. Not saying that you would do that, but it is something that happens on here and I can only "fix so many bugs" before someone gets curious and reads stuff they should not.
