I guess it could affect first impressions but as time passes I think you personality is what really stands out

Marrying rich is my last backup plan from all the backup plans. I'm not all about romance anyway, I think I could bear being somewhat nothing to my spouse someday... marriage is only a last resort, I really don't have any plans on marrying if I could help it.

My appearance mattered to me all throughout high school. People around me are all about appearance and that influenced my perception on myself—it was unhealthy—and I fussed over my looks. I wish I could tell my former self that she is already very pretty and doesn't need much enhancing. I do agree with the quote, "We were never supposed to see our own face." Along those lines.

But then come senior and college, brains mattered to me more than looks.
I find myself most inadequate when I make a mistake too, smh. Being smart satisfies me more than being pretty. But would love to have both—
