You can put [code*][/code*] around it without the asterisks and it will show up as code

Essentially any thread! Like if you see Colin doing something sus in the dungeons or the basements, you could enter the thread unnoticed and observe, gather otherwise private information. Basically, you could post in the thread without the other participants noticing. There is a risk of being noticed, of course. A werewolf might be able to detect that someone has entered the area; someone with sixth sense might get the creepies. They wouldn't know who you are (unless the ww is very familiar with Cicely) or where you are. But if they're bothered by these extra inputs, they might go looking and you might risk being discovered. On the other hand, they might be so engrossed in their own mischief that they'll dismiss the feeling!

It's good for RP --- for us because there is the element of being secretly watched and possibly having anything we thought was done in secret come back to us! --- and also for you because of the potential danger and simply finding out things that most of us would not have direct knowledge of IC.

You'd certainly be welcome to sneak up on Colin some time! I think if you do this, it would probably be polite to owl or DM the people in the thread to give them heads up.

You cannot intrude where you aren’t OOC wanted. If there’s a solo or PV you aren’t invited to, you need to owl the students involved and ask if it’s alright you sneak in. Also cat’s grace won’t give you access to areas that you aren’t old enough to enter or don’t have the right unlocking items for.

Hi @Cicely Woods! You can access any thread, but you need the rpers permission of course! I believe you can't access things like detention, but everything else as long as you have permisson- is fine I believe

I was just wondering if a MP3 reader could work in the Hogwarts Express. From London to near the school, it could technically work since I think that the enchantments are only on the school campus.
But I just want to make sure of it.

Electricity/batteries don't work in the wizarding world. The magic seems to corrupt them.

Mechanical things- like a grandfather clock iirc will work, but an mp3 reader won't.
