FAQ — Questions
Question! So I'm seeing a ton of sign-ups for balls and family balls around, and on those sign-ups it always says "number of guests". Madi is Muggle-born and her last magical relative died before she was born. So I guess I'm asking: "can Muggle-borns participate? And if they can, do they bring their Muggle relatives?"
FAQ — Questions
Since those balls are player-run and unofficial and thus the answer may vary, it would be best to contact whoever’s organizing it and ask them specifically!Madi McQuade wrote: 27 Jul 2023, 16:34Question! FAQ — Questions
The other thing to think of is "will it make sense" -- if you are a muggle born going to a wizarding ball in a magical setting, how or why are your parents or other family members able to attend?

Hi Oliver-- yes, I believe students are allowed to switch dorms once each year. I recently moved dorms for Rhys from the gender-neutral dorm to one of the female dorms, but come third year they could switch again. I don't think you'll find an issue with changing your dorm assignment for OliverOliver Brown wrote: 2 Aug 2023, 01:56 Would it be possible to “Switch” Dorms during second year? FAQ — Questions
Aurora: The vast majority of OSA in kids is the result of enlarged tonsils and / or adenoids.
There are other causes, but they are much less common. In the muggle world, those get whacked with surgery. I would suspect that in the magical world, we would do the same, only with magic.
Best thing about magical treatment is that we have wound healing spells so there's no bleeding.
On the down side, that means no ice cream after surgery like our muggle friends!
I would suspect that pediatric healers are aware of OSA in kids and would be able to treat appropriately. There may be other throaty conditions that we're behind on, like PANDAS.
Basically, no CPAP devices at Hoggys!
Keep your mind in hell; and don't despair.
