Then that brings up a question from me. Say I was a full human, but I said my mother was a metamorphmagi. I don’t have the ability metamorphmagus, but my dNPC mother can still have the ability?

You may not use dNPCs to access abilities you don't have, no.
( @Kim Sato, tagging you as you responded to this)
Ok, thanks for the answer

The difference is that your mother being a metamorphmagus doesn’t give you access to the ability through her. You gain no benefit/advantage, no skill you don’t already have from her being a metamorphmagus. You can’t use it for yourself in the way that you can use parents’ Apparition abilities to circumvent not having the ability yourself.

What Ruby said. It's not like your mother's metamorphmagus ability changes your appearance.
Different example, you would also not be allowed to have your non-seer PC access prophecies through a seer dNPC. Or have a parselmouth dNPC be around to translate between a snake and you.

A quick reminder and clarification. Your parents, the unregulated entities that they are, might be wizards with magic. They might logically be specialty races because you are (like a part veela having a part veela parent), they know more spells than you because an adult man likely knows more than just lumos. It is your responsibility to not use them to give you access to spells you do not have access to. Why would any user get apparition for their character when their parent or best friend can simply 'take you with them.' If you cannot think of a reason for your parent to not take you with them that makes sense, then your parent cannot apparate.

Please note, this is very different from your father summoning your uncle Ed from Austria and then walked out of the RP, no benefit, just flavor and sorta pushing it but whatever. if they summon your friend from Russia so you can RP for the day and then go your separate ways at the end of the day, you are using your parent to give you a powerset you do not have. You friend needs to use one of the normal means of travel and logically be able to reach the destination.

There is something about ambition, how it not only propels you but also defines you.

FAQ — Questions
I have a question:
Is this allowed:

For example, I take a job as an Astronomy Reasearch Aide for one year
Then for the next year, I take another job as a Herbology Research Aide. Then I take this job to Renowned Herbologist.

Can I come back to Astronomy and take it to renowned Astronomer?

If this, do I start with Level 2(since I already took a year as Aide, or must I start again?)

FAQ — Questions
If I wanted to do a solo rp between my character and a family member, can I write for each of their perspectives? Or is that not allowed and I can only write in the perspective of my PC?

All rps must be from your character's perspective (PC or iNPC), but never dNPC.
