Unfortunately, I'd think not, since batteries still require electricity. But you can always use an abacus

Just because calculators don't work doesn't mean you get out of maths! We dont have arithmancy (yet) at Hoggys, but we do need mathematics and geometry and so forth for astronomy.

For all your calculating needs, I'd recommend the abacus, the slide rule (straight or circular), the difference engine, and the various books of mathematical tables!

None of those require a lexirictussy to function yet are even more fun to operate!

Can a student Apparate with a parent or adult that can Apparate? I don't plan on describing, just say "They Apparated in the middle of Hogsmead"

If it's during a school break I think you can if you're with your parents. You can't do it during school dates though or during summer camp.

You may not use dNPCs to access abilities you don't have, no.
