So I pretty much joined this website on like the first day of August and I found out that everybody moves up a year in September. I haven’t had much time to do that many role plays and barely any homework. I was wondering if there was anyway if I could keep staying as a first year for the next year?

Hello! 

Yes, anyone who joined the site after 30th June, will remain as a first year this September. Your character will start at Hogwarts on 1st September 2018 (though you're welcome to start RPing there now) and you'll move up to 2nd year in July-August 2019.

I use a graphics software to do that. You can get a free one like Paint or Gimp or something. But there's probably some other ways to do it too. I think there's some online websites that will let you do it - try Googling for an image resizer or online photo editor and it might show up with some photo editing websites that you can use for free.

If you can't find any, lemme know and I'll try and have a look for you!

Uh, I think that thread is about specific events that Thurston is going to be running. He hasn't held any yet though so I'm not sure. You can RP in that area but there's particular rules about it, which you can find here: https://www.hogwarts.io/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=2377

If you're unsure, I would recommend you owl the Professor directly and ask for permission.

Nope, all family NPCs can just exist without you needing to overly do anything besides creating them.

If we wanted our character’s family to be one of the Sacred 28, would we have to ask permission and/or register or do something along those lines, or just say they were in their bio?
