Last year end of term was June 30th and July 1st saw students go back home for 1 month and summer camp started August 1st. But summer camp dates can change. I think the staff said that they try to make it be that you can go home and do events there and then come back to go to summer camp afterward, thus why it's like 1 month at home and 1 month summer camp. But we shall see what happens this year. However, the last day of classes at Hogwarts is always June 30th as July 1st is when students graduate and move up.

That is not always the case. Sometimes summer camp takes place in July and students go home in August.

Yeah that's what I thought. But last year it was like that - July go home and August was summer camp. But this year could be different. Usually though 1 month is summer camp and the other month is going home. Regardless of the date, summer camp will either be July or August.

If I get prodigial, does it mean I can only use it for spells one year above my ic year? Or can I use it for my current year's spells as well?
