Maybe make it where more than one character seems suspicious.

Amelia! ooh gotcha! almost like foreshadowing, in a sense? Perhaps you could have them say or do things that are kind of out of pocket or indicate certain things about them or the plot without drawing too much attention and building tension! and like Bree mentioned, draw more attention to other, more suspicious characters, if that helps? but it's also your story and i'm sure you'll be able to accomplish what you want to see in your writing kind of going with the flow and editing details later might be helpful!
