Woah, that's incredible. Our school plays were just things we did for the lols. We had 5 different plays in 2-3 days, it was just kids messing around but it was fun. Nothing this intense.

We have multiple performances in one school year (two big ones, five for 7th-8th choir, some talent shows, tony awards, etc)

We did a production of Shakespeare's Merchant in Venice. Watered down a bit, of course. We didn't have talent shows or choirs. Honestly, the school just focused on studying academic subjects for the most part. The fact that we had any plays at all was a surprise.

We usually do classical productions. Like Hamlet and whatnot. I remember King Lear was done year before last. I was too young to participate, though.
