You will forever get 10 sickles. It used to be a different system in the past. When you were a first year you'd get 1 sickle per day, second year you'd get 3 sickles per day, third year you'd get 5 or 7 sickles per day and it would maximize at either 10-15 sickles when you reached 7th year. I forget what it was back then. But they changed the system so you get 10 sickles forever regardless of your year now. You guys are lucky. It was HORRIBLE getting only 1 sickle per day.

On HIO, each setting which you can RP in has its own forum area. If such an area doesn't exist or is inaccessible to you, you can't RP in it. I don't think it's mentioned explicitly anywhere in the rules, but if there isn't a forum for a particular setting it's physically impossible for you to RP there, because RP topics are all posted in location-based forums (eg. Courtyard, Caretaker's Office, Lavatory, etc). If you have a suggestion for a location to add, you can always post in forum suggestions!

You can always ask your head of house or the headmaster for official confirmation. But Clark is right, unless it takes place in the Room of Requirement or there is a description about the room that states what you can see, you can't make stuff aka places or doors anywhere without permission.

How do you change the style of your font on hio? I know how to change the size and the color, but how d'you change the style without making it bold or italics?

The on site way would be to use different fonts, we have three

typewriter	Code: Select all `[font=typewriter]typewriter[/font]`
cursive	Code: Select all `[font=cursive]cursive[/font]`
signature	Code: Select all `[font=signature]signature[/font]`

Some people also use copy and paste fonts which can be found on various websites.
