how do y'all change your 'last active' stat on your profile to 'last post'? I've noticed on some profiles that instead of showing when that person was last online it shows the date and time of their most recent post. Is there a way to change this? I looked in preferences, but I don't quite see anything ^^
is it something that just switches from time to time and can't be manually controlled?

Under preferences, you would enable "Use the invisibility cloak on Marauder's Map" which can take up to 3 days to take effect. This hides your online status.

FAQ — Questions
Just know, when you hide yours you also cannot see others. This takes 3 days to change over so people don't slip in, peek, and then return the setting. It is a privacy option, but at the same time it is highly valuable to know if your friend was at leas on the site even if they did not have the time to post.

Ah, gotcha. I think I won't change it, then, as I'll likely not have time to post if/when I pop in from time to time over the summer. Thank you Lear ^^

FAQ — Questions
So, I was wondering-- is the Hogwarts castle in Hogwarts Legacy canon to this site? In terms of the layout and locations. I know that's kind of a broad question with a lot of facets to be considered (seeing how presumably some things have changed since 200 years ago and I'm assuming ancient magic won't be a thing here!) but I was thinking specifically inside school itself, and how it's designed.

- new 'flavour text' places, it would make sense that they existed and they only add immersion/more detail (ex: docks in a grotto where they store the first-year boats, dozens of courtyards, halls, and bridges connecting different areas of the school with their own whimsical gimmicks and unique decorations, the rooftop courtyard for the Ravenclaw tower, descriptions of places mentioned in the books but not described, like the road to hogsmeade, hufflepuff common room, trophy room, the faculty tower)

- things that contradict book lore (ex: the greenhouses being connected to the castle with no outdoors access vs in the books I'm pretty sure they're off a little ways into the grounds) I'm assuming the book lore would trump over game lore

- things that were made for gameplay (hidden in case of spoilers!) (ex: the undercroft, the hidden herbology corridor, the map room, various mini-game areas like the hall of herodania or secret chest puzzles) which also probably wouldn't and shouldn't be allowed.

But for the flavour text sort of areas, are they okay to put threads in? Sorry that the question got a little long :sweatingbullets: I just really love worldbuilding

FAQ — Questions
No, I would not use the game as a supplement or a replacement. Mostly because it does contradict the books in a lot of places. The primary truth would be the books. Shame I never read them but most of the staff has,.

Avery in the canon books was definitely more into Rebecca than Opeila too pretty sure, so good luck.
