Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin 2nd Game Finished

Cautiously Nico stayed out of harms way. Things moved fast. Erin managed to hit one of the Ravenclaw players. The poor girl luckily got caught by her teammate. The little dhampir wasn't a big fan of seeing people get hurt. It hit too close to home.

Her ice blue eyes never let anything slip out of her sight. One of the other Slytherin Chasers, Elena, got her hands on the Quaffle. Good job. However, for some reason, she didn't throw it in the ring. Was she even aiming for the ring? Odd. Nico had expected her to be swift and precise. Guess not.

Shortly after, Nico saw the same teammate get hit by a Bludger. 'Frick...' And what a blow it was. Her broom was smashed. Nearly obliterated. The redhead watched her teammate tumble down.

She would've saved her if it wasn't for Erin. It wasn't a big surprise that the opposing team had their eyes on her once again. She was a strong asset to the Slytherin team. Just like in the First Game, Erin got struck and shot down. In seconds, Nico made her decision: a girl who seemed to be out to hurt her or a girl who's just abit scary with extraordinairy mooscles. Suprisingly or not, the choice was easy. Last time, Nico had saved Erin aswell. It was abit awkward when they had to share words, however the purple haired girl was grateful and that's what mattered to the small dhampir.

Swift and quick, the dhampir caught Erin on the back of her broom, zooming back up. When they reached the height where the game was played, Nico tilted her head over her shoulder, eyeing at the purple haired girl. 'Welcome back.' She smiled softly. The tension wasn't as scary as last time. The redhead was just happy that this dangerous girl was on her team and not on the one they were facing.

Although it was only the beginning of the game, it seemed that things were already going downhill. Koko had cheered for a moment when she saw Elena grab the Quaffle and start toward Ravenclaw's goalposts, but then she had seen the blue-haired girl falter. The entire situation was familiar, especially when Elena threw the ball in a direction completely away from the goals. It reminded Koko of that one duel... A sudden, irrational change in thought. Due to what, though, she did not know.

Her view of what was happening began to shift again when a bludger came soaring through the air and hit Elena. No. But yes. It was happening. And there was no stopping it, not even as the girl landed on the ground far, far below. Quidditch was dangerous, that was a fact. But this? This was a little much.

Koko took a deep breath to try and steady her heartbeat. It was then that she saw Erin thrown off her broom by another bludger - and thankfully caught due to Nico's lightning-fast reflexes. "Great job, Nico!" the Slytherin Keeper shouted, "You'll do great, Ruby!" Her chest warmed as she recalled the words her friend had spoken to her right before the match. Maybe in the midst of all this, the Slytherin team could count on each other.

As the whistle blew to signify the start of the match, Cecily made a beeline for the Quaffle. Though they were underrated, Quaffle points could be the tipping point in any game. And though Lavinia had been their top scorer last game, she was busy carrying out another crucial part of the Ravens' plan, so it was just Cecily.

And just as she got a hand on the ball, she felt it ripped out of her hands but a Slytherin chaser. Oho, though, she wasn't going down this easily. Cecily cheered as she watched the Slytherin girl whiff the Quaffle, then grinned as she saw her fall from her broom to the ground. Well-- she stopped smiling after the sickening thud, but it was a satisfying revenge as it happened.

Emma was on Ruthie's broom-- a new development-- and the terrifying Slytherin beater was on the back of on of her team mate's brooms as well. But it was fine-- they could work with this. They could get this game going for them just as handily as they won their last game. They could do this.

Everyone just wanted a piece of Erin. A clear foul on the part of Ravenclaw, one of their Catchers would try to blatch Erin from the start. She would narrowly avoid the girl's attack, not that she knew the girl. She would suddenly allow her broom to drop in altitude, as if she hit an invisible wall she allowed herself to stop and then fall. Erin was never quite right and it was obvious to anyone that saw her fly her broom, it was like she was riding a bull despite the fact that her broom was fully under her control.

Lavina would fly harmlessly past the place Erin was. However, she was unprepared for a second Ravenclaw to also target her. In the small of her back there was this sudden, jarring pain. In shock from the pain that shot through her like a bolt of electricity her hands left the shaft of the broom. She would slip off. It took her a moment to even realize that she was falling, yet again. She saw the ground coming at her, no she was coming at the ground. This was going to hurt. She mentally steeled herself for what would be an incredibly painful impact.

Not ground, but it hurt all the same. Knocked the wind out of her in fact as Nico Shymane saved her from the peril that was the ground as her midsection hit the rear of her broom hard. Gasping for air that came in and out in sharp wheezes she unsteadily struggled to get on the back of Nico's broom. A familiar, disgraceful seat behind her now. "Bloody hell, it is like they are out to get me," Erin complained between breaths.

It was likely they beaters were going to be coming for her again. Lavina failed to blatch, she was still circling the field. Emma was on a shared broom as well, it was between them mutually-assured destruction it would seem. Getting Erin's broom back was likely not their most prudent choice as long as there was something with the power to one-shot Nico, who probably would try as long as they shared a broom. Still, Erin was like an albatross on Nico's broom. Parting ways sooner than later might be in their best interest. Well Nico's.

"I could probably take Emma out again if you're willing to give me a clear shot," Erin suggested. "But having me paints a huge target on you, I would understand fully if you wanted me to get on my broom and get as far away as possible," she added. She almost sounded reasonable.

Just a trick of the lighting they said...

The game had begun, and things escalated quickly. Before River even had time to cheer on her team, people were already falling from the sky. Slytherin had managed to grab hold of the quaffle, and ravenclaws were attacking slytherins on all corners.
Raining students was not a pretty sight, and River’s heard jumped every time someone were close to falling. Quidditch is, after all, a very violent game, and that is something the players are quite aware of.
River watched on nervously as the slytherin student had just crash-landed on the ground. Another one nearly fell down, but they were saved. River felt quite uncertain whether she was relieved or not for her being saved, but the game ran on and the tempo continued.

Just like that, they were back into the swing of things. The Ravenclaw team clearly hadn't been slacking in its downtime, and neither had the Slytherins. Adam cheered as Dymphna blocked -- well, more like willed away the Quaffle, somehow distracting the Slytherin Chaser without doing anything at all. Huh. Well, at least they weren't losing. He did wince a little as the same Chaser was knocked to the ground, but he was much less disturbed by it than he had been in their first game. He'd come to accept the damage as a part of the game.

His eyes roamed from the Chasers to the Beaters, between the Keepers, and finally to the two Seekers in the air. Anything could happen at any moment in this game. He had to be alert, because if things went south, he'd be needed out on the pitch. Hopefully, the team would be able to secure a victory before he had to mount his broom.

A surge of energy ran through Lark as the whistle blew, Chasers went flying off and everyone else immediately seemed to take to task. It was amazing.. watching everyone flying, weaving, green and blue streaks in the sky. She had never realized how breath taking Quidditch actually was. She had seen a couple games but it was like she was finally seeing more of the game. Maybe from her new position.. granted even it being from the bench. Still.

Lark winced as players zoomed around, someone falling from their broom. Wide-eyed she went back to cheering on her teammates. Although... now that she thought of it. Where was the Slytherin Seeker? The quaffle was a big deal but if they got the snitch... Lark's eyes scanned the field but got caught up once more in awe watching her team work as one.

A slight gasp left her mouth as she gripped the bench, Ruthie catching Emma. Fewf.. However, the crowds reaction and gut wrenching sound made Lark realize someone else hadn't been so lucky. She swallowed hard and tried not to think about it.. that could be her. Even if they were on another team, a small piece of the Ravenclaw still sent up a quick thought for whoever had just made contact with the ground. Nothing too serious Lark thought... still there was a game to win.

The match had started. David was watching the Quidditch Game from the bench. He was happy that the team was doing really well in the early game of the match. Now that Ravenclaw was doing very well at the start of the game so far, David was holding his broom as the game was going on. This was at the point that Ravenclaw as going to take advantage of the situation. David was looking at the match closely and noticed that his friend and Quidditch player, Ruthie saved the captain, Emma. He was in awe and proud of Ruthie for what she was doing there.

Right now, he looked at Ruthie and clapped for her smiling. "You're doing great Ruthie!" He said. He was proud that he got to be teaming with Ruthie this season, even though David was on the bench, he was really happy that he got to be on the Ravenclaw team. But for right now, he was focused and ready for the time comes when he would be in the game at least. He looked around the Quidditch pitch, looking on to see what was going on in the game as of this moment. He nodded as the team was playing so well from the get-go.

Come on.... Not a repeat of last game. His conscience wouldnt be able to handle letting his team down like that AGAIN. He scanned the field thoroughly, but-
There! There that little prick was! His fastest find yet. Finally, he'd be able to make up for the last game against Hufflepuff. If he could only...

Dan waited until Neculai wasn't looking, and flew off after it. Hopefully, he could grab it before the birdies had a chance to do anything about it.

Dymphna didn't mean to enchant anyone but she didn't have time to feel guilty about it - the Slytherins hadn't scored. Her team had a match to win. She stayed tense until their Captain was safe with Ruthie and continued to scan the field. Adam was benched and she doubted he could see her little wave towards him. Perhaps he would get to play sometime. They went flying together every once in a while and she wondered how he would handle a real match. Focusing back on the match, she kept her eyes peeled for her team mates and for any Slytherin heading towards her to try and score a goal. Not if she could help it.
