Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor 2nd Game Finished

Serena watched the game from her bench, "Dern!" She muttered as she spotted the quaffle going into the net. "Come on Hufflepuff!! YOU GOT THIS!!" She screamed, cheering her team on as best as she could. It was slightly annoying being benched. You could only support your teammates or boo the opponents. You could not go out there and make a difference to the game yourself. But in a way, it was like being a spectator to the sport. Serena did love watching Quidditch games since she was a toddler. Well, not that she remembered it much then. But her father said he took her to a game once when she was still a baby and she did not cry, as she was too engrossed in looking around that the players.

Her love for the sport had only ever increased. It was odd, in a way. She normally hated the dangerous, violent things in Hogwarts. But there was something about Quidditch. Even though a bludger could hit you in the head, you still had to love the game. For some reason, she never really considered Quidditch to be dangerous. Even though... well, it definitely was. When you're plummeting to the ground, it certainly felt pretty dangerous. Of course, the professors or healers would be on standby to slow down your fall and prevent you from getting hurt but still. The risk of danger existed.

ACTION: Benched, cheering.

Lamik flew up into the air as the game began, staying low to the ground at first in the hopes of not drawing attention from the opposing beaters. Unfortunately, the snitch seemed to be higher up- either that or the boy just wasn't paying enough attention. With a sigh of frustration he pulled up, soaring higher into the sky.

ACTION: DOING AS STRATEGIZED

Griseldis tried her best to reach out for the Quaffle but the Hufflepuff chaser was faster than her. No! Not again! The Gryffindor chaser screamed in her mind, she didn't want what happened from their last match where that one Ravenclaw chaser who scored in every round like it was nothing. Luckily, this time it was different, their newest Gryffindor chaser @Rafael D'Spacito was able to grab the Quaffle before the Hufflepuff chaser could teach it and flew like a hawk towards its target and that target was the Hufflepuff goal! Griseldis followed him from behind and she immediately recognized the Hufflepuff keeper to be someone she met before from the Owlery. But on the Quidditch field, they could only see each other as rivals. She watched as her fellow Gryffindor chaser skillfully threw the Quaffle through the loop. The announcer boomed loudly in the stadium.

"TEN POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR!"

"YES! Amazing job, Rafael!", Griseldis gave Rafael a thumbs up, but the game just started so it was still too early for celebration right now. They all need to focus on the next Quaffle grab and score more points for their team. While Griseldis was getting into position, she also hoped their Gryffindor seeker Lamik could find the Snitch as soon as possible.

And so, the game began. Right off the bat, the Gryffindor chaser had gotten the Quaffle and scored a goal against Hufflepuff. It was a start for the other team, but it was only the first round. There was always a chance to turn the tide.

What really concerned the Captain was Julie getting hit by one of the bludgers. It was almost like a repeat from the last game, where she had gotten struck with a bludger just when she found the Snitch. But this time, things were different. Luckily, Dawn made it just in time to save Julie. If Julie could catch the Snitch, there was a chance they could win this. But for now, Saskia still had to focus. This was no time to be distracted.

From the looks of it, this game was NOT going to start off the same way as the last one. Annie did not get her hands on the quaffle, and then Asteria Kurokawa failed to block the goal. Only a few minutes in and already a Gryffindor lead.

Just as Dawn was looking away from the scoring end of the pitch, she saw Hufflepuff chaser, Julie Shaw get knocked from her broom. Nimbly swooping in to catch Julie, Dawn said, "Gotcha friend" Julie must have seen the snitch because she whispered in Dawn's ear, "Snitch, o'... left.." Even though they were kinda broken up like gasps, Dawn still got the general message. She swooped in the direction of the Snitch.

As Strategized

Damn! He missed though it appeared the miss was only slight. So close and yet so far from taking down his objective. But hey guess what? He didn't go down in the first few seconds of the match so ya him! But he quickly noticed that Julie was almost taken out. Knowing Kyle from previous encounters. He knew the Gryffindor was aggressive so he would get another chance to give him some payback. Which brought a grin to his face.

Maggie followed the Beaters of the game closely, so closely, in fact, that she jumped a little when she heard “10 POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR” boom throughout the stadium. After a brief moment of disorientation, she clapped and whistled, cheering for her team. She watched Kyle bludger Julie and dodge a hit from Quinn. Julie fell down to be caught by Dawn, the pair going for a Two-Headed Dragon on the Snitch.

It looked like his teammates we’re getting the job done. Hugh tightened the straps of his bracers whilst balancing mid air in his broom. His short trimmed sideburns felt cold in the biting winds of an approaching winter. His dark green eyes scanned the playfield for him to get ready. Stick to the plan and this time no room for failure.

Nicky almost turned the bench over while cheering on her teammates that were flying around. She remembered the feeling of being up there, chasing the ball. Her heart was racing and almost leaped out of her chest because she wanted to be there, flying with her team and scoring. Just like in that German song about friends that are frei wie der Wind - free like the wind. Her gaze was fixed on Rafael. She was wishing so badly to fly by his side, to rush for the Quaffle but it was his mission and her mission was to wait and be ready to save the day if something happens. So she just kept on cheering...
Rafael grabbed the Quaffle, went straight for the goal and 10 POINTS FOR GRYFFINDOR

"YAY GO GRYFFINDOR GO RAF RRROOOOARRR GO LIONS WE ARE WINNING WE ARE WINNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

At this point her voice got so loud that it might have been too hard on the ears of the people beside her but she was way too excited to notice.

The second round of the Quidditch Match and the red ball was again thrown up in the air. The Gryffindor Chasers shot forth like arrows from a bow. Forming an arrowhead formation. Daunting as this might look for the Hufflepuff team, a lone Chaser named Donnovan Periwinckle challenged their claim for the Quaffle. All of them got there at the same time and a show of force erupted. Euphrasia Millie came out as the victor of this clash.

Euphrasia now flew towards the Hoops that were guarded by no other then Asteria Kurokawa. Determined to this time stop the Gryffindors lead, she looked her opponent dead in the eye. Perhaps the confidence that Euphrasia emineted, got the better of Asteria. and Euphrasia threw the Quaffle with all her might.

10 POINTS FOR GRYFFINDOR!!!!!

On the other side of the field, the scary looking Gryffindor Captain, wanted to finish what he had just started. The Hufflepuff Seeker was an insult to him and thus he decided to target her savior. Again he struck the Bludger with all of his might. The Bludger shot forth at an incredible speed. As the Bludger almost hit its target, a Half Giant shot right in front of it. With a cracking sound the Bludger slammed into Quinn Healy. The Badger wasn't that easy to get rid off and he continued onwards.

Lamik Fillestar tried once again to find a shimmer of the Snitch. Perhaps he was too frustrated, perhaps not focused enough. But whatever it was he was once again unable to find even a trace of the Snitch. The new Hufflepuff duo Julie Shaw and Dawn Riley had found the Snitch and would now be trying to seal the victory. As fast as they could they followed the Snitch. Julie stretched her hand.... And was able to catch the Snitch!

The referee blew on his whistle as it echoed through the stadium, he announced:

"Julie Shaw has caught the Snitch!!! Hufflepuff Wins!!!!!"

At those words the crowd went wild as the bleachers were filled with the black and yellow colours of House Hufflepuff!
