Charlotte nodded.
'Yeah I don't think it was their intentions either... Macaroons seem nice !' she said as she smiled.

She remembered the fun afternoon she had with her parents and sisters when they had learned Charlotte was going to Hogwarts. Her mother cried, being so proud, and her father seemed very eager for his daughter to walk in her footsteps. Although her sisters were quite envious, they still were very happy for her and couldn’t wait for Charlotte to send them owls every now and then to read all about it.

She got out her small bag, taking from it a small sesame cake. For some reason, she was really hungry and not knowing how long the train ride was going to be, she prefered to eat a little. She offered some around her once more, before taking a small bite out of hers.

Sinking in her seat, she admired the countryside, before having a sudden urge to listen to music.
'Guys, are we allowed to listen to music here? Because I really want to right now...'

She wondered how Terrance was going to react when hearing muggle music, and smiled just thinking about it. At least Reina would have a chance to know it. How did wizards listen to music without a phone? She had never seen her family doing differently. On types of vinyls? Or some way to make music just play without any support? She really didn't know...

There were bands around that his parents used to say were popular in their day. He had heard magic record players and occasionally the wizarding radio stations. Though electronics were something different entirely. Record players didn’t really use electricity and could run on certain magics. Record players were around since before the light bulb was invented after all. At least early versions of them.

“If it’s something to do with muggles then it won’t work. I don’t think any special devices work. At least what I’ve heard of. We could sing or something similar?” He wished he could hear it for the first time. Though it wasn’t that different to what he normally listened to. Just most of what he had listened to was live.

He remembered how his mom would dance with his dad. How they would all have something where they acted all goofy and it had been theirs. He missed them so badly though it hadn’t even been that long since he last saw them. He was going to have to send an owl as soon as he could. Even try to get them to send a copy of his letter to his brothers. He missed so much.

He seemed to have that wistful look in his eyes back again though he had zoned out a little thinking about it.

He was a pureblood. The most muggle culture he’s experienced was in passing and hearing these two talk about what muggle society was like. Though he didn’t know how judgemental it could be. That like with the wizarding world there was a whole lot of good and bad.

He shook his head. “No, I just haven’t seen anything to do with muggles. Even muggles themselves since I was born. I’d like to eventually hear muggle music. I wonder how different it is from our music.”

It probably wasn’t that different from their music. Though probably a lot less raw since they had the technology to make anyone sound like however they wanted. He turned to Charlotte after a moment’s pause. There was still some things he wanted to know about all of them.

“What do you do specifically in your spare time? What are some of your hobbies?” He turned to Reina too as if to give a little you too without even saying it. Though he looked between the both of them. A lot of what he did could be considered one of those theatre arts kids who spent hours committing to something. People who never stopped having some sort of dream and who were often given a label and stereotyped depending on what age and gender they were.

Charlotte was amazed by both Terrance and Reina. They were so different yet so much alike. Both of them grew up without any contact of the other 'world', and they were both fascinated by the other's life. Charlotte was in the middle, having lived a little torn between both of them. She found it very amusing.

“What do you do specifically in you spare time? What are some of your hobbies?” Terrance said as he looked at Reina and her.

“I usually either go on walks through nature, read, listen to music, or I’ll try and learn a language or two.”

Charlotte thought Reina found her own life uninteresting, and felt somewhat disheartened. She smiled as she looked at Reina.

'Well, maybe we'll go explore the Castle Grounds together someday, huh?' she said sweetly. Reina really seemed like a nice girl and Charlotte was sure they were going to spend a magical day of wandering around the castle and grounds together.

She thought of what she was gonna say.
'Well, I really like spending time outside and picking flowers and plants to fill in my herborium and my Flower Wall. And I like to read quite a lot. But if I have to be honest, I spent a lot of my time on the computer playing games, but not too much though.' she added. She wondered if Terrance even knew what a computer was and waited for him to ask, smiling.

'How about you, Terrance ?' she asked, looking at him with her eyebrows raised, her head a slightly to the side.

“Yeah, I’d be ok with that.”

Charlotte smiled sweetly at the girl. 'It'll be nice in your compagny ! Can't wait'

As the girl talked about playing on the computer, she wondered how Terrance was feeling about all this. It must've been a little bizarre and incomprehensible. Just like she would feel if you were to tell her that aliens existed, and that they were populating the Earth with their strange technology. She chuckled lightly.

'So Reina, let's get to know a little more about each other huh?' she asked, looking between Terrance and her.

'So, I live in the heart of London, in a Parisian style house. I have two sisters: Madelaine, who's nine and will probably be a Gryffindor, and Pénélope (pronounced peh-neh-lop) who I'm pretty sure will be sorted into Ravenclaw. My dad's a Muggle, Marius Cadunt, and my mom is a witch: Ambérine De Castel -- well Cadunt now-- and she studied in France.' she said, looking once again at the two of them, waiting for one to answer.

She wondered how their lifes were before coming to Hogwarts and was a little impatient to know... Perhaps they would all be friends, and it reassured Charlotte to have some friendly faces in this massive school.
