I hope I did. I didn't get requested for a callback the next day. So, my audition was either so good they're one hundred percent sure that they want me for a certain role, or I'm just the worst thing they've ever seen and want to cut me from the play.

Yeah. The last one can't exactly happen, they can't cut you from the play, but they can put you in an ensemble role that doesn't have any speaking parts, and that's almost as bad.

Thanks Ginny, anybody learning something interesting at Church at the moment? We’re going through 1 Samuel, though to be honest it gets pretty difficult towards the end, with David running through the wilderness for most of it.

Our Gospel reading for yesterday (Sunday 15 September) was about the prodigal son. I know that this is a well-known one; but what's interesting is that a priest told us in his homily that the elder son, despite the fact that he never really left his father, also needs to repent.
I guess this means that no matter how good we sometimes consider ourselves are, we're still commit sins now and then. Thus, it is very important that we continuously reflect on our acts and thoughts, and then repent and start a new way of living.

Yes, I enjoyed the reading for that day. I believe the older son's need to repent came about due to his pride and jealousy toward his brother. He felt justified in hating his brother because he felt he was a sinner and himself a good dutiful son. Instead of being happy his brother came back, he was angry. Be humble guys and celebrate when sinners repent. There's nothing worse than being punished for trying to do good because of your past actions.

On a side note, can I get some prayers. I just sent out nearly 200 medical residency applications. If it pleases God, please pray that I get a job.

I am praying for all of you guys. Also for you guys who don’t understand how gods working in your life is you just have to put your full trust in him. He is testing you and how you handle terrible situations. If we look at job from the Bible his story is that everything he had was taken away from him. His family was killed, he had no money, and everyone including his wife was telling him to give up on God. (The devil and god planned this to see if job was really faithful) but job was still faithful to God and was praised for it. He was rewarded with money and a new family all because he put his faith in god and believed things would get better. If you guys need more inspiration just listen to these songs: Gods not done by Tauren Wells, blessings by Laura story, and scars by I Am They. These will hopefully give you more hope. My next post will be more advice and three new songs based on the advice. By the way my real name is Evangeline Smith but my username is Elizabeth smith, and I am a free will baptist. Also have a great week and I am learning about how to trust god through rough times in church so if anyone has any questions please ask me. Have a blessed rest of the week!
