"Shit, I dunno." Howard was worried about it too when Bridget expressed her concern about the pedestal. "I'd rather see what happens with that than run into any else down here." He could fight if he needed to. Howard was capable of the violence needed to defend himself and those he cared for, but he really didn't want to tap into that side of himself unless absolutely necessary.
"Speak for yourself dude. It's not everyday that you get trapped in a freakin' dungeon like this." Howard didn't love what Johannes had to say and it was clear the frustration of being stuck down here was starting to boil over a bit, but when he continued Howard couldn't help but to agree. "Oh, what freakin' orb?" He did feel a bit stupid now as he was trying to pry stones off a wall when it now clearly had nothing to do with solving the rooms puzzle.
Howard let out a sigh when the two other guys pointed out the obvious. They needed an orb that was not in the room and the only other place it could really be was down the creepy ass hallway with mysterious voices and a smell that had put him on edge. Now that he knew what they should be looking for he felt even more foolish. "Yeah, it's got to be down there." He reluctantly agreed. "Don't go alone, dude." Howard watched as Cyrus downed the invisibility potion, but he'd easily be able to follow by scent alone. "I'm coming with you." The dhampir would crouch low and silently follow.

No luck for her or Howard. She knew she was right, another step back confirmed this wall had something going on, but it wasn't any of the things they'd tried and her brain was slipping from problem-solving mode to the start of panic. Howard was right, they'd be in trouble if someone attacked while they were trapped down here. They had no way to call for help, nowhere to run. The tomb sealing very well might have alerted this cult, their time only ticking away until they showed up for their sacrifices.
Her jaw clenched tighter when the stranger called them all stupid. How was she supposed to know whoever made this tomb was some kind of orb-obsessed maniac? She glared half-heartedly, but she didn't exactly disagree. She was being stupid, slow. Thank god Astrea wasn't down here, or Ruby, though the prospect of dying in a London tomb was more pressing than her reputation. She'd probably feel better if they were here, actually.
Consensus quickly formed to enter the pitch black doorway, the same one Howard had recommended against just minutes ago. The scraped-together plan wasn't awful, between Cyrus downing an invisibility potion and Howard's enhanced vision, though strategy wasn't outweighing the instinctive, spine-creeping reaction to not being able to see what was down there. In the dark, monsters thrived, and not just in children's stories. But she didn't have a better idea. She had to compartmentalize. If she complained or freaked out, she wasted value time. Better to control her own fear so she didn't make any more of a mess, to stay ready for something to jump out.
Bridget took a deep breath. She reasoned that this was not a situation where she could have Howard's back, at least not at close range. Undisguised and effectively blind if she took just three more steps, she would be no help, and she didn't feel confident in her ability to cast a proper Disillusionment Charm right now. But Howard was nothing if not competent, and she was a ranged fighter, anyway, not that she liked her chances aiming into darkness with one of them invisible. At least she could make sure they weren't all in range if something dangerous was waiting through the door, and the stranger wasn't jumping forward, either, so they should probably not leave anyone alone, not that she wanted to be stuck with him.
She didn't say be careful or don't die, the obvious, or watch out for unexpected deep holes in the ground and moving shadows, but she would mouth good luck if Howard and Cyrus were not yet facing away to the gaping maw of the unknown.
Watching intently, for as little as she could see, and doing nothing sort of felt like lots of little spider legs pattering over her skin: uncomfortable, eating at the maintainance of her composure. She cast a look over her shoulder, half to check if anything was coming up behind them and half to reexamine the strange wall, as if the third time would reveal anything else. Well... maybe an old charm would do something. It was a purposeful pacing, if nothing else, her quick strides up to the same east wall. She tapped it with her wand, quietly incanted, "Dissendium." If it did nothing, she'd just pace back to the doorway.
Actions:
1. Cast Dissendium on the east wall
2. Be anxious
