Are video games magic?
Matisse could feel the train slowing down, and sat back in one of the seats. She wasn't sure about safety protocols in the wizarding world but usually it was a good idea to sit when moving vehicles were coming to a stop, wasn't it?
"I wonder how they decide who goes where? Maybe alphabetically or something? Or maybe we take some kind of test?"
She began chewing her lip nervously as the train finally came to a complete stop. If there was a test she wasn't sure how well she would be able to do on it. Maybe they had a house just for people who were muggle-born to get some kind of background information on how things worked in the wizard side of things? Or extra classes?
A voice coming from somewhere, Matisse wasn't sure where because she couldn't see any kind of speakers anywhere, told them that they were free to exit the train and she stood.
"Well hopefully whatever it is they do to sort us will out us in the same house," she said with a smile at Jaxon. She was happy that he also wanted to be put in the same one, he was her first and only friend currently and she didn't really want to be separated.
She held her hand out to him so they could exit the train together.

Feeling the train start to slow down, Jaxon neglected to sit back down like Matisse did, Jaxon wobbled a bit when the train came to a halt from the sudden change in acceleration, but he kept his balance, staying up, his heart was racing, he couldn't wait, he grabs the handles of his luggage, picking it up, he didn't have much, he didn't really need much personally, Jaxon shrugs at her wondering question about how they're sorted. He hears the voice tell them they can exit the train.

It's the modern age, maybe things have gotten better in terms of attitude towards muggle-born witches and wizards, it might be more accepting than when his parents used to attend Hogwarts, he would love to be in the same house as his first friend, and if its Slytherin then so be it. Jaxon looks to Mattise's hand, giving a smile as he goes and holds it with his free hand, leaving the train with her carefully, the station was dark, but there was someone with a lantern to lead them to the docks, Jaxon follows them with Matisse, heading to the boats that will lead them to Hogwarts.
