After the cat-bonding and wobbly process of finding the fifth and final clue, Mikael's quick wits immediately resulted in him flipping over the note and repeating the same procedure as for the previous hints. Once he had done so, he read that the last digit, written on the back of the slip of paper that he had retrieved by standing on Sara's shoulders, was the number one. Adrenaline must've coursed through both of the foreigners as that last piece of information presented itself to them, and it only took a matter of seconds before Mikael had reached the door where they had entered the room and began putting in the digits one by one.

Sara was also awaiting the outcome of his teammate's actions with anticipation, as most of them probably were, as Mikael turned each wheel into place. Would it work, or would they be stuck in a failed escape room endeavor until their miserable death? Kidding, of course. The two clicked into place. Would choosing that one be the right thing to do? Without hesitation, next came the three. Another step closer to being free. Once done with that section, it was the turn of the seven. Only one more to go. The digit number one slid into place, had they won? Without any drama, no host to declare their victory or loss to finish it off, the lock clicked once and for all. Freedom for these skilled pioneers had come at last, and each would be allowed to leave the room after that final stand. Well done, group two!
