Nabi had been peacefully making her way to her dormitory, holding a small black leather book. Hoping for a peaceful night after all the chaos that had happened, not too long ago "Nabi!"

If only she knew what was to come.

She turned to look for the source of the familiar voice, that nagging tone like chalk scratching a board. Nabi's gaze met an older student she had met during a broom race at the beginning of the year, Oh for Merlin's bread. "You're going the wrong way! It's in the boys dorms! And what are you doing with a book? It's not class", what are you even talking about? raising an eyebrow slightly clearly, you do not read.

"Wait, we can go together! Don't worry, I know where it is. Probably. How big can the boy's dorms be?" Nabi did not have time to react when the creature grabbed her wrist, giving her no choice but to follow her. With a sudden halt, she observed Cass call another older student over before pulling her and the other student to the final destination.

Why am I here...

The boy's dormitory was filled with well...boys; all whispering and giggling amongst each other. She should have fought against the rather brute creature, but it was too late for that, she was already there. I should slip away once everyone is distracted...

Nabi silently let herself be led to the windowsill, watching Cass walk away, I was brought here against my will for nothing? With a slight hum, she looked around the room; the large meeting banner grabbed her attention as she raised an eyebrow, Snog? The organizer must be asinine...

Gently shaking her head, she resumed taking in her surroundings. Two of the boys in attendance were familiar, the young Prat and Athanatos; who appeared to be talking to a brunette boy she had never met. Tilting her head slightly she noticed the usual tense behavior the Aamon displayed, perhaps it is just his lack of social skills... she silently reasoned with herself.

The windowsill was peaceful, hidden in a corner, but something called her name. At the snack table, her preferred sweet had been placed amongst the selection of snacks. The bitter-sweet snack was not something she would pass. Soon enough, she caught herself calmly taking a licorice stick.

@Prat Pass
A frown spread on Elisa's face as she saw the indifference in Prat's tone, what was the problem with him? She had just asked a question and the guy was already ready to piss her off, she had never been able to understand what his problem ever was with her but neither did she plan on figuring it out, "I'm a fool for even asking you" she whispered.

Her face turned to disgust upon Colin's answers, not only had he heard her question but had also proceeded to address it in front of all, embarrassment ran through her veins, she could swear she was getting some side eyes for her question but not like she did a crime, her question might've gotten misinterpreted by people, especially Draven who was giving her a weird look,

As things got to chill with Colin explaining further about some metal stuff, Elisa groaned, this all was rather boring, she could've just stayed back at the dorm but it was all too late, her eyes fell on a snack table in the side of the room, what caught her attention was vials of..cider? she recognized it as a drink that had always been kept away from her by her father, she could've sworn she was dreaming, it would've been nearly impossible for them to smuggle some alcohol into school, even though her doubts of the drink remained, Elisa found herself making her way to the snack table and picking one of the vials, she picked two of the vials, one in her hand and the other she slid inside her pocket, after getting back to her previous place on the wall, she took a sip of the liquid as the heat hit her throat, maybe the night wasn't gonna be bad...

Aamon sat still for a moment, letting the warmth settle in his stomach. It was… nice. Unexpectedly nice. The earlier panic, the sharp edge of humiliation, the certainty that he had just ruined his entire life—it all melted away into something light, something pleasant.

His limbs felt loose, like he had been carrying invisible weights his whole life and had only now noticed they were gone. He let out a slow breath, his fingers tapping absently against his knee as a slow grin—completely unguarded—started to spread across his face.

Oh.

Oh.

This was fun.

Everything suddenly felt a little brighter, a little funnier even. He didn’t know why he had been so worked up before. The panic? Embarrassing. He’d have to apologize to Matt later for being so dramatic about it. No, he needed to apologize right now It was important. What if Matt died! "I'm sorry Matthew," poor guy had probably been mortified listening to him go on about betrayal and crimes and scumble. "The apple juice tastes awful, but this is good." He was fine. Better than fine.

With a small hum of satisfaction, Aamon leaned back against the pillows, stretching his legs out as if he had just finished a long day of work. He felt amazing. He belonged here, sitting among these people, watching Colin ramble about something entirely unhinged, feeling the laughter bubble up inside him like he had been waiting for permission to let go.

Colin was saying something about hair plains, and Aamon, despite knowing on some deeper, untouched level that he was being lied to, really wanted to believe him.

“Muggles have plains just for hair?” he asked, his eyebrows furrowing. “Like… a big field where they go to do it? That can’t be right.” The context of jumping out of a plane made no sense to him, it was pretty level as far as he knew. As a wizard, he had no idea what an aire-plain was.

He turned to Matt, who was still brooding over something or another, and poked him in the arm. “That can’t be right, can it?” He was the muggle expert afterall having lived among them. "That seems like a lot of fun, but so much work," he hummed thoughtfully.

Matt muttered something, but Aamon completely ignored it because, in his new blissful state, nothing Matt said mattered unless it was contributing to the euphoria currently humming through his veins.

Colin continued with his nonsense, and Aamon giggled. Actually giggled.

He never giggled.

It felt wonderful.

The world was warm. Matt wasn’t a threat. Colin wasn’t a menace. Prat wasn’t scheming. Everything was fine.

“See? It’s fine!” Aamon suddenly declared, turning to Matt, his voice full of exaggerated reassurance. He gestured vaguely toward himself, as if presenting proof. “I’m not poisoned! I’m alive! I feel great, actually. Fantastic.” He punctuated this by flopping back dramatically, one arm thrown over his head like some kind of theatre student.

Everything was hilarious.

“I think I love adult cider,” he announced to the room, to no one in particular. “Like, actually, why don’t we drink this all the time?”

He turned to Matt, eyes shining with genuine curiosity. “Is this a Glasgow thing? Because I love it. I love Glasgow.” He paused, frowning slightly. “Wait. I’ve never been to Glasgow.” He considered this for a moment before shrugging and waving his hand dismissively. “Doesn’t matter. I love it anyway.”

He would take notice of the girls that had entered the boys dorm. They were not supposed to be there. It did not matter! He gave them a wide grin and waved his hand from his awkward place on the floor. "Hai pretty ladies, happy you're here!"

He sighed happily, melting further into the cushions. “I take it back. This is the best night of my life. Matt, when we are done with snogging lessons can we get some muggle poo for showering?”

Colin paused in his discourse on Muggle brassieres and their effects on snogging to watch as Aamon appeared to be inhabiting his own now much happier world. Colin sighed, almost jealous. It was clearly the kid's first taste of alcohol and it seemed to be doing him wonders. Colin had never felt the warm buzz. He just drank a bottle and passed out. And that was good. It beat seeing the shadows of some inner darkness every waking moment. And after the events of last summer ...

Let's just say that if a few pints of something or other went missing from the wee pub in Altnaharra, they went to a good cause!

“Muggles have plains just for hair?” Aamon asked. He didn't seem convinced. “Like… a big field where they go to do it? That can’t be right.”

"Oh! No! Not that kind of plane! The other kind! It's like how a fanged frisbee works, right? You throw it and it kind of flies? Well, a Muggle aeroplane is just like that! Only it's long and skinny like a broom! And, of course, it's big enough to jump out of when you want to comb your hair!" Colin smiled. He was sure Professor Galim would be so very proud of how he was helping his fellow house mates understand the intricacies and impossibilities of Muggle life!

Colin glanced over towards Aamon again, but he wasn't sure if the boy were even listening. He had a goofy grin plastered across his face. Just like Alex and Angus when Colin and Liam gave them some Jaegermeister to drink. “Like, actually, why don’t we drink this all the time?” Aamon said. Colin shrugged. Then Aamon started on a row about Glasgow. How much he loved it. How he'd never even been there.

At last, the danger noodle seemed to track back more or less to the topic of the day. "Hai pretty ladies, happy you're here!"

Colin laughed merrily. "Girls! They are soooo cute aren't they!?"

"This is the best night of my life. Matt, when we are done with snogging lessons can we get some muggle poo for showering?”

"Say! I know who has some sham poo!" Colin smirked. "Mate of mine, Claire Lewis, she said she'd give me some! I still think it's sus and probably not actually safe to use --- but we could try? But snogging first! Muggle poo later! OWOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

So far, the evening had been quite enjoyable, although it had presented a scene that Saunders would have found utterly alien had he not been in it. He had met a few new faces and had managed to glean some rather odd facts about Muggledom from Colin's vast and boundless wisdom. What more could one ask for? If they hadn't decided to organise this event, Saunders would probably be reading boring lecture notes on Charms or Astronomy in the deep silence, or even solitude, of the Slughorn dormitory.

Colin's lecture on snogging was in full swing and passionate. Saunders couldn't help feeling sheepish. He was familiar with the word and what it meant because he still remembered walking past his parents' bedroom a few months before coming to Hogwarts and the sight that reached his eyes through the ajar door, a sight he could no longer dismiss. One's first insight into what that word entailed should never have been offered by his parents.

Saunders didn't particularly like the idea of snogging anyone in this room. In fact, he couldn't claim to like the general idea of snogging too. Something inside him was seething with rage: "What? No way! How dare you! How can you look your parents in the face if word gets out that the Napier boy went to Hogwarts for a sloppy snogging, you naughty, shameless brat!" Yet another voice inside him was asking, limply, "What's the harm?" and putting a hand on his shoulder, "This is a safe place, and it's only a game. They want to teach you about life, and they mean well. Let yourself go."

Saunders was tired of the endless battle of different voices inside him. Did things always have to be like this? Couldn’t a human being, even a kid like himself, escape, if only for a few bloody hours, from the war of polar opposites that were terribly split down the middle? Spirit fought body, desires fought reason, and actions fought emotions. The counsel of his Scandinavian ancestors clashed with the Mediterraneans'; the desire to cause havoc clashed with the societal expectation that a boy like him should behave. Was there no peace, no small moment of calm, no glimmer of happiness when all was perfectly blended and reconciled? “Oh, never mind,” said another voice from Saunders’s heart, the one that rarely made itself known, hardly ever leaving its perch.

Then he took a sip of the mysterious cider from the flask Prat had handed him. Bitter. Burning. What had happened to that innocent boy with the hot chocolate on his upper lip on Christmas Eve a few months ago?

Saunders felt suddenly adult as if cider were a sacred initiation drink offered to him in honour of his departure from childhood. Booze, or rather all sorts of intoxicants had always had this effect throughout human history. He took a few more sips, but the drink burned his throat and, strangely enough, he began to enjoy it a little… The Napier Boy wondered what effect this cider would've on him. He had heard from his father more than once that it made some people angry, even furious, and others quite pleasant and relaxed. “I hope it’s the latter,” he thought, as someone who had never experienced what it was like to lose all self-control. He lowered the collar of his turtleneck a little, as if the room were growing hotter.

When he noticed (or rather suspected) that the bottle of cider he had got from Prat was running low, he turned his attention to the snack table. “Yummy,” he muttered to himself. Staggering slightly, and realising for the very first time that that the world was indeed spinning, he poured the cider from one of the vials into the flask. Giggling with glee, "I don't know much about Glasgow kiss, to be honest" he said, not exactly knowing who he was addressing, "But how about a London kiss?" He paused. "Capital cities always promise more. Am I right?" Wonder if anyone could hear him. Who knows. Who cares. He padded over to his cushion once again.
Action: He drinks half of the flask Prat hands him and refills it with one of the vials on the snack table.

Dazed in his confusion no one even cared to answer, but that mattered very little because the boy found himself suddenly falling his brain a buzz with light fluttering's making him feel very amicable to the situations that had at one point seemed totally overwhelming. Throwing himself down on the pillow next to Aamon he couldn't control the tidal wave of giggles that erupted from him when the boy finally decided he was no longer dying. I mean Matthew couldn't say for sure but if Aamon felt anything like he did death was the last thing possible, no Matthew's skin practically floated above his bones ready for anything.

Despite all the new feelings creating butterflies in his stomach he was sure that there was something he was still mad about like a deep ache in his bones but negativity was such a vile existence. Currently he felt like he was on cloud nine and that was all he needed. The pair were laughing so heavily together it was like they had been friends for years and mind aflush with feather lightness he believed it to be true. When Aamon questioned the boy on why they didn't drink this all the time Matthew was completely perplexed I mean the young snake was right, to feel so gracefully free all the time was a gift they surely should revel in. But words failed to meet his tongue as he still failed to conjure anything more than a giggle.

Arms flapping above him dancing delicate waves through the air he listened as Aamon all of a sudden started talking about his hometown. How he knew that Matthew was from such a place baffled the mind, temporarily forgetting both his thick accent and the comment he had made. The boys cheeks flushed with a delicate rosy complexion as his mind wandered to all the wonderful memories he had of home. Absentmindedly he rolled over to Aamon and as if the pair hadn't been at their throats minutes before he spoke, his eyes sparkling with an idea he clearly thought to be remarkable, "Hey I love Glasgow too! I'm from there and it's great, except for well the junkies and the crime but you know I love it anyways. Oh my god Aamon you know you should come visit and you can learn proper about the muggle stuff from my dads, not what that idiot teaches you."

Throwing a hand in the general direction of Colin Matthew turned to face him confusion littering his mind as to why he was being so rude. Everything felt like it had been turned on its head and his mind was spinning, mostly in a good way but every so often he felt odd like his throat was clogged and his breathing too heavy. Still staring at the boy Aamon drew his attention to the ladies in the room, when had they arrived? Honestly Matthew was just glad they hadn't listened to the archaic men only rule, it was as stupid as blood purity. Mind afloat pulling in all directions he kept his eyes focused on the floppy haired Colin who for some reason didn't have clothing on. Or was he imagining that, god he hoped not though he wasn't sure why. "Say Colin why do I hate you?" The question slipped from his lips without a notion of clarity but a happy sigh stole his attention and brought him back to his cushion companion.

"This is the best night of my life. Matt, when we are done with snogging lessons can we get some muggle poo for showering?”

Matt couldn't help but buckle under the sheer force of hilarity that was ensuing, what the hell was the silly boy talking about. This entire evening had not gone as planned, at least he was pretty sure of that. Really everything had become rather groggy but he couldn't tell for sure, perhaps another swig would help. Taking one he passed it to his compatriot while Colin only furthered the confusion, "What the hell do you two want with muggle poo and what do you mean for showering? Why are we showering the nights only just begun!" While typically there ignorance would have grated his nerves nothing was capable of ruining his fun tonight. Completely oblivious to their ludicrously Matthew began to sit up falteringly wondering what the rest of the room was doing. Hearing Colin's final words he turned to him in dazed amazement, "Wait what, who's snogging who?"

MODERATION NOTES
@Aamon Athanatos & Matthew Campbell continue to feel giddily from the alcohol in their bloodstream as they rolled together in the soft blankets and cushions oblivious to their rather uncouth state. It was rather magical that when stripped away of all the teachings engrained in their minds an elated state of thoughtlessness could show the truth about people, and in the two boys case apparently that meant friendship. The more they drunk the more ecstatic they felt about the activity revelling in the comforts of an eased mind and perhaps something even more, why limit feeling this way to themselves. Surely it was selfish to gatekeep this fun when others could enjoy too, Aamon thought holding the vial. Aamon and Matt continue to experience euphoria with no real changes, just pure bliss.

Making her way over to the snack table where @Keiran Kith and @Draven Mirador were conversing Elisa used her duellist grace to casually swipe up a cider from under their grasps. Watching as Kith was seemingly stuffing his shirt full of sweets like he feared starvation she noticed the twitching of Mirador's body when noticing the alcohol like an addict who desperately wanted his hit. Elisa had learned well from her training so while no one was watching she discretely pocketed another vial out of sight of the other guests. Free to enjoy her evening with her new found contraband. Elisa sneaks away with a secondary flask with the primary in her hand.

With the temptation so close it was unfair to even consider the resistance @Draven Mirador felt, after all why should he limit himself. The boy hadn't smoked in days and he could feel the itching under his skin burrowing its way to the surface. He needed a vice and alcohol could suffice if it prevented him from taking a drag right. Surely it was better than relapsing on his decision. He was sure of it, as the tempting liquor danced elegantly in the dimmed room like a burning fire he was a moth to the flame. Draven feels drawn to the final full bottle of cider.

@Rusty Singer was simply happy to be there, whatever happened would be a great lesson and revelling in the chaos of the room he watched as kids seemed to be enjoying themselves. Beverages spilling and snacks being thrown between friends, the laughter in the room was contagious and the boy couldn't help get wrapped up in the fun. In his few months in the dorm he had never seen anything like it, but finally he got to experience the joy of house comradery. Being so young he couldn't help but look over to the snack table where a whole array of treats spilled out and in the centre a large chocolate cake with a French flag that had seemingly gone untouched. It was late but perhaps a treat wouldn't hurt, after all it didn't seem like this ragtag group of snakes were going to bed anytime soon. Rusty is vibing and spots the treat stand.

Biting down on the liquorice wand @Nabi Park surveyed the scene watching as Aamon giggled. I mean actually giggled, it was perhaps the most unnerving thing she had ever seen but nothing truly phased such a stone faced girl. No she was quite sure that this entire event was beneath her and her book would have been far more enjoyable. That had been until the liquorice wands caught her attention. Snacks never hurt anyone and if she was going to have to suffer this blonde boys raving lunacy she might as well get a familiar treat from it. Always the keen surveyor she took in the whole room listening in to conversations as she passed. Catching whiff of a plan she overheard 3 older boys by the door complaining about the lack of action and contemplating setting a fire. How would the observer react, would she simply let the chaos ensue or did she have her own plans in mind. Nabi overhears some scheming.

@Saunder Napier's was a kind hearted boy and despite his rigorous upbringing he had grown tired of the multitude of voices in his head. Desperate for them to stop he took Prat's flask right off him and swallowing a large amount refilled it and returned the full vial to the captain. Wide eyes @Prat Pass would accept the vial once more and continue consumption rather impressed at the gumption of the young snake. With such brazen moves he would make a fine duellist. As the younger of the two began to feel the effects Saunders would speak out to the room not particularly to anyone but just in pure glee as the warm bubbling liquid began to stir happy thoughts in his head blocking out those nasty voices. Whether anyone had replied to him or not Saunders found himself amused by his own joke and laughter broke free from his belly with a rather fiery burp alongside unbefitting of his manners. Yet in this moment Saunders couldn't care less, he was unburdened and ready for whatever was to come. Saunders is experiencing Euphoria

Forever the optimist and performer @Colin McCoire watched as the majority of his audience were completely rapt in engagement hanging on every word he said. Some students had begun to take notes while other older snakes began whispering about the many times they had pulled over the years. Colin knowing some of them well enough to surmise they had never even spoken to a girl let alone kissed one. Knowing his audience was still utterly captivated the cards now all rested on his shoulders, how would be continue the evening. Was more theory required or was the best teacher experience. Whatever he did would change the course of the evening, all power in his hands. Yet there was one more thing playing on his mind, alcohol was a powerful substance but the from his heightened smell the cider alone shouldn't be doing this much. Before the lavender had overpowered his nose but now that the bottles were mostly open and the smell spreading he began to pick up other floral scents to the mixture, unsure exactly of which but one thing was certain these ciders were laced with something. Whatever it was didn't smell harmful but only time could tell. Colin notices a new floral scent from the brews.

Aamon felt incredible.

It was like his whole body was floating, his thoughts moving slow and syrupy, like honey dripping from a spoon. The earlier panic, the mortifying humiliation, the constant thinking—all of it had dissolved into something warm and golden.

The conversation would settle briefly on Glasgow. Aamon would laugh, not that anything said was funny as he readily agreed to muggle adventuring with a vigorous nod of his head. "My family wont mind," he declared with confidence. The staff might, they were the ones that really looked out for him. "I want all of the muggle adventures," he asserted.

He stretched out on the pillows, completely content, a goofy smile plastered on his face. He wasn’t entirely sure what he was laughing at, but Merlin’s beard, was it funny. Everything was funny.

The cushions were so soft. Had they always been this soft? Aamon ran his hand over one, sighing happily.

He turned his head, his curls flopping over his face, and grinned. “You know,” he mused, his voice thick with laughter, “I think I misjudged you.” He pointed a wobbly finger, squinting like he was trying to solve a great mystery. “Like. Before tonight? I thought you wanted me dead.”

He howled with laughter, rolling onto his side, nearly tipping himself off the pillow. “Okay, okay, but—” he held up a hand like he was making a very serious point, but then promptly forgot what he was going to say.

He sighed deeply, completely content. “We should so something interesting,” he declared to no one in particular.

Then, very suddenly, he sat up, looking around in mild confusion. “Wait. We were supposed to be doing something after snogging lessons, right?”

He frowned, brows knitting together, before his expression brightened again.

“Oh yeah!” His eyes shined with newfound determination. “When we are done with snogging lessons can we get some Muggle poo for showering?”

Aamon nodded, very serious. “The Muggle poo! For washing! Colin said it’s got, like, mint in it! That sounds amazing!”

He turned to Colin, looking for confirmation.

“Colin, tell them! Tell them about the Muggle poo!” There were new faces here or maybe he forgot when they entered but they needed to know about the poo.

“Say! I know who has some sham poo!” Colin claimed. “Mate of mine, Claire Lewis, she said she’d give me some! I still think it’s sus and probably not actually safe to use—but we could try? But snogging first! Muggle poo later! OWOOOOOOOOOO!!!”

Aamon gasped.

They were going to get Muggle poo.

Enjoying the lovely bitterness of the licorice stick, Nabi cracked a slight smile for the first time. Few things brought her such quick joy, yet her mood lightened slightly. She was enjoying the sweet when she noticed a young girl make her way to the snack table, observing the girl take a vial of cider. Nabi had been to countless balls and forced events to know about the vail's content. Tilting her head slightly, she noticed the girl slip a second vail into her pocket before walking away, not very stealthy...

Humming faintly to herself, she continued to enjoy the candy when she heard someone, "Hai pretty ladies, happy you're here!". Her eyes flickered over to see a tipsy Aamon, so he needs to have a couple sips of ciders to feel at ease... It was the first time she saw the young boy look so... calm. The wide grin plastered on his face was not something she expected to see, yet she found it...endearing? No, surely she was just tired...

Right?

"but we could try? But snogging first! Muggle poo later! OWOOOOOOOOOO!!!" The other voice came from the same young man of white hair she had seen at the rager. Here I thought you playing with the water at the rager was the most peculiar thing you could do... muggle poo, what in Merlin's name is that? She shook her head gently, Boys are odd, a young boy stumbled to the snack table, giggling as though his life depended on it.

What are you laughing at? Nabi remained silent, the boy mumbling and talking to Merlin knows who. "I don't know much about Glasgow kiss, to be honest...But how about a London kiss?" nabi tilted her head, what, "Capital cities always promise more. Am I right?" It appears you no longer make sense... Nabi could not help but be amused by the effects the cider had on these...foolish boys.

She resumed humming to herself as soon as the boy stumbled back to his previous spot. Nabi had forgotten her original plan to sneak out of the event, hearing whispers by the side of the room, three distinct voices from three older boys, conspiring a plan.

A scheme she now knew.

But would she let the green walls of this dormitory glow red in flames? perhaps... perhaps not... Nabi could leave before the S.N.O.G. event got out of hand, but she had already spent enough time to have her curiosity sparked just enough for her to decide her next move. I am already here... I could make sure these fools do not cause much trouble...

After all, she may be the only one in their right mind. One could only hope she did not get distracted...

“Hhhhhhh.” February 1st marked an evening Keiran had decidedly deemed would be the last of its kind; what had started as a good idea had rapidly devolved into a social disaster. From beneath the weight of a familiar calloused hand, Keiran took the opportunity to exact where he’d wound up on the overturned chessboard of self-ordained monarchs, periled pawns, side-eyeing bishops and honorless knights. Failing to consider the time before his roommate arrived linearly, he supposed he was no better - A toppled tower, a wayward rook.

By the now very empty-looking snack stand, Kei allowed his eyes to close for a second; things went south when he was suddenly no longer alone - someone had called him tall in a voice that rang ‘round within the curve of his cochlea like the creaking of a hamster wheel - with incessant energy - a carlessness that taunted him meekly before dropping an octave. Words washed into nothing, however, as the night flooded into more chaos before he was fished up from his collar.

'I didn't know you fancied snogging goblins mate.'

“I’d rather snog t’e feckin’ floor. Tongue n’ all- -” 'To refer to the Wixen priory worshipping the false eugenics of magical bloodlines as goblins would be an insult to an ancient and intelligent race', he would have said, if he hadn’t turned red. Keiran’s voice was a litany of harsh vowels and nonexistent consonants, barely audible above a raised whisper..“- -’n taste the fekin magic in the warm granite, Dreh, shut up.”

“- And Merlin’s berd, yous dinnae have t'come neither -“
He remembered how his eyes were glued to the stonework he’d been talking up just moments prior. How it was easier to imagine the warmth came from the heated tile and not the embarrassment that rose to his cheeks. He was not blushing. “-Aight? I’m not yer mofer’fecking wain- -”

“-yer charge to come collect-“ He was not - touched - that someone had come looking for him. Kei cast the sentiement somewhere dark and sad and small to be unpacked and scrutinised later. “-Damsel in de-feking stress-“ Keiran’s tangent steamed in its self-serving contradiction, running circles in his mind- before denoting how Draven’s attention had turned from the exit to something else. “-Mirador.”

“I concede. C'mon.” It seemed it was Keiran’s turn to play sheepdog, a tut escaping the space where his tongue smacked away the air that he sucked between his teeth. “We oughtu go. I ken t’e bag is gonnu break hagnin’ like t'is much longer.”

Saunders was at the height of euphoria. It was as if he had never been despised in his short life. It was as if everything he had ever wanted in this world had already come true. It was as if he had mastered every DADA spell that had ever existed. It was as if his mother had become tender and his father had begun to hear, even see, his son. Yet, there were dangers in being in such a state. First of all, even if the desperate members of humanity manage to forget everything, they cannot escape the pain of an ever-present truth, engraved on their skin, etched into the very fabric of their souls, throbbing like a toothache: impermanence. Even under the most extraordinary influence of the most powerful drug, a person feels very deeply that any state of happiness, no matter how strongly they desire it, by its nature enforcing impermanence, cannot last forever. The grinding machine of time tramples everything with its relentless heel, leaving behind only the corpses we euphemistically call memories.

Fortunately, Saunders sensed this fact very, very subtly, so he continued to enjoy the intoxication that the sacred drink so delicately bestowed. Those around him did not seem to pay much attention to him. Normally, on such an occasion, he would've left the room and lingered on the doorsill, secretly hoping that someone would notice his absence, come looking for him, and say, "Saunders? What's the matter? Come join us!" But the Napier boy couldn't find even a moment to be bored.

When his laughter turned into a burp, Saunders caught the scent of peach pudding rushing up his nose. "THE FROG CROAKED!" he yelled, "Did you hear it? A frog that smells just like peach pudding." He furrowed his brows. "You nasty frog, be quiet!" Then, whispers of "sham poo" and "taking a bath" reached his ears. "No, no, no, no," Saunders began to mutter. He was worried, but for the first time in his life, in a euphoric way, one that didn’t trouble his soul or ax his happiness.

He absolutely had no desire whatsoever to bathe in Muggle poo! "But I’m an 11-year-old boy," he mused desperately as he began pacing. When he suddenly saw Matthew, "Oh, Matt! Matt!" he exclaimed, grabbing the boy’s arm. "Don’t let them make me bathe in Muggle poo! Save me!" he whispered. "Remember that spell you cast while decorating baubles, and it snowed on me? Do that again! But make it snow a lot, I mean, A LOT... so I can hide under the snow. Capeesh?" Just then, he heard someone’s voice: "The Muggle poo! For washing!" He quickly winked at Matthew. "I have to get out of here, they’ll catch me!" he giggled, "think about my offer."

Staggering, he looked around to see who else he could ask for help. It seemed the number of boys looking or dressing like girls inside was increasing over time. He encountered someone (@Nabi Park). With a fascinated expression, he began to scrutinise the person in front of him, perhaps a bit too, almost inappropriately directly. Wagging his finger, he began, "I must say, dude... you have quite a peculiar style..." He hiccuped. "Anyone would think you’re a girl... You almost had me fooled, too! I may have had a bit of cider, yeah, but I still remember it's a boys' event." He spun around once. Whispering, he warned, "Whatever, I don't know who you are but be careful, there are those among us who want to shower in Muggle poo or sham's poo, a poo probably belongs to a Muggle whose name is Sham, or something like that. You must avoid them. They’re very dangerous!" "Maybe I should find Prat," thought the Napier boy, "should they ever attempt to throw that Muggle bloke's poo at me, he'll step forward like a hero and save me." Now he had a new mission.
