Whispers of The Dark Group 2

Another round, another loop. Prat decided he would walk up to each present person in the group and ask them if they each want a mocktail. Sure, it was not real, nor cocktail, but still a drink nevertheless if not spicy at that. He looked at some of them through the pouring rain and could not help but feel slightly pitiful, only to crack a wicked smile, a Jim Carey grinch smile.

It was time to begin, and Prat was prepared. This time, he wasn't going to use his arms, but instead his shoes. He sat down on the ground to undo his shoelaces and slide the now-untied shoes off of his feet and he stood up to face each of them, his foot visible. He held onto the eyelet of the shoe and slammed the soles onto the walls as hard as he could, a louder bang, a louder slap. "LIGHTS OFF!" He proclaimed, again announcing the lights being turned off for the reason they would all come to know at this point. It was time for the murder.

A minute passed and the lights turned on.

The Jim Carrey smile struck his face again as he stared back. "None of you have been voted out. Congratulations, there is still a killer hiding amongst us, find them and eliminate them."

OC: I know this isn’t the style you’re used to. Next week, Prat should be back in function.

Every mod post, you will notice that the light goes out every time there is a murder. The light stays out for 1 minute to allow the murderer to conceal the weapon in some way and to avoid suspicion. When the light goes out, you'll hear a bang from the nerf gun and if you feel yourself getting shot with a foam bullet, you have been killed. You may lay down on the ground and play dead. You may find a funny pose to be in, whatever. When the light goes back on, a vote will be held to accuse someone of the murder.

I've been accused of a murder! What do I do?
Well dearie, you would've been considered "executed" if the majority votes you as murderer. This means that you are out. The game is over when all of the players are dead except for the detective and murderer, or when the murderer has been accused and executed.

How do I vote?
Every round, you need to send me an owl of who you're voting or accusing. Additionally you MUST post otherwise your vote will be seen as invalid.

I did not post for a round or more, what happens? (if you don't send me your vote but post, it's okay, don't worry about it.)
The murderer will likely kill you the next round.

I'm the murderer! What happens now?
Post each round. Send me your target via owl. In Character, when the lights go out, you can pull out your nerf gun and shoot your target. You will have the rest of the minute to hide the gun or conceal it.

I'm the detective! What happens now?
Post each round. Send me your accused victim via owl. You cannot be killed.

I'm a doctor! What happens now?
Post each round. Send me your accused victim via owl. There will be a second blackout in the mod post in where you will have a CHANCE of healing the shot victim.

I was a shot victim! I was healed!
Good for you, you may continue in the game. However, one of your limbs have been ic AMPUTATED so in roleplay, you would not have that limb because the doctor amputated the shot limb.

What if I have to leave Out of Character and I'm the Murderer or a Doctor or a Detective?
That's fine, just please notify us at some point. We will owl another person and give them an additional "title" for their character that they are already playing. For example: Baker is now Murderer but still the same character, you don't gain another. When it comes to a detective and a doctor, unfortunately, we won't pass it on. The game continues until its over.

Please note: We are taking actions via owl so that actions and votes are anonymous to keep the mystery. What you choose to say or do in your post whether ooc or ic can be used against you so do your best to keep your "secret" role anonymous. If you are a detective or a murderer it can be used against you if you say it out loud. We suggest coming up with an undercover job to conceal the fact. Not required, you could be vague, but what you say and do whether oc or ic can be used against you.

Jun had gone silent, her eyes jumping from person to person as she watched the heated discussions inside the group, not sure what to say or think anymore. She Tony strongly felt that Vito was thinking she he was the murdere. In the meantime Alessio had been executed by the participants and they were now asked to share their grudges. Maria had asked them too.

Carlo was the first to talk and as soon as Jun heard her alias, sh3 looked up from the spot on the floor she had been staring at. She was just about to answer the blonde girls words when the lights went out and Jun almost let out a sigh of annoyance at the inconvenient timing. As soon as the lights were on again, it was clear who had been the last target.

Maria took the attempted Murder on her rather well and got right back into game, causing Jun to suppress a chuckle, her own words still stuck on her tongue. Finally her time came and Maria asked her a question, to which Jun finally saw her chance to respond.

„I don’t mind enlightening you on my journey at all Maria,“ she spoke, a dazzling smile presented on her lips. „I‘m not one to hide my past. It is true that I am a Mechanic now. It was always my true calling, my dream if I may say so. I just didn’t know how to achieve that dream when I was younger. Society had convinced me the job I now have wasn’t good enough, that it was dirty and hard work, so I became a teacher instead. Truly never with much passion, I must admit. I understood why Carlo fired me when it got to that point, goodness I am grateful for it. Teaching wasn’t the job for me, he pushed me to pursue my passion and I did. I am now a Mechanic, a better one than I could ever be a teacher and it’s am honest job, one that is just as important as teaching.“

Finishing with her arms crossed over her chest in confidence, Jun smiled at the group in a way that only some secure in their job could. Satisfied with her answer, she watched Maria interrogated Vito, who was one of Jun‘s suspects as well. Though his own grudge had been the file at the beginning, he had made himself a greater suspect by his words. Then again, Mey had been awfully silent and Jun had yet to be harmed. Was Mey shielding her cousin even in this game? They would know soon as the next lights off did not result into a murder or a vote out.

Vito asked their opinion and Jun felt it was okay to state her opinion too. „Well, Vito. I fear one of the people I would suspect is you. You try so hard to defend yourself and blame others that it might just make you look guilty..“ Jun trailed off, cocking her head slightly as she looked at him. „However, your story about our violent participant Luca, does sound concerning. I did hear your daring remark earlier, what was that supposed to mean?“ the last sentence she said, turning to Luca himself. „You’ve been keeping so quiet, is that because you’re trying to figure out who to hit next?“ Smiling at Mey with a glint in her eyes, Jun turned her head to Maria next. „What does our latest attempted victim think? Did you feel from what direction the bullet could have come?“

The rain Prat and Noah had decided to employ for the game did not seem to be letting up at all, for scenario however.

Continuous Rains continue showering the city with cold winds and further darkness as the unidentified killer strikes again. Enveloped in the shroud of darkness, our elusive killer attempted to scratch another name off his list as he caught the local bartender, Vito Rossi, during these dangerous time. The shot was so well aimed it passed straight through the victim, giving them no chance to even make an escape. As the blood pool started to increase and flow out, someone among the neighbors chanced upon the scene as they found the lifeless corpse.

Question on everyone's mind remains as to who is the elusive killer that has managed to thin down our town's population while keeping their own identity a secret. Further comments from locals only seem to question the work of our police department and their very sloppy act at handling the situation. Recent trends include the populace going into vigilantism as they judge residents under the guise of doubts and begin trials with no evidence, even going as far to executing them under their own attempts at justice. One might fear whether this vigilantism might only be a pipe dream realisation to those wishing for Anarchy.

With the previous murders and blows, This game could have not gone more south as Prat predicted. What initially started off as a peaceful game, as peaceful as a murder mystery could be. It soon turned into a blood bath all around with their respective detectives scrambling to find the killer. Some came very close, some were as far away as possible. Prat certainly enjoyed his time hosting the game as well as the chatter and food that came with it. Deciding to stop this magical downpour upon them, Prat waved his wand over as he chanted the incantation for Meteolojinx Recanto. This promptly stopped the rain, followed by a hot air charm "Aer Calidus" to remove any wet spots from anyone's clothing.

Turning on the lights Prat decided to unveil how the game went for everyone and show who the killer was for the group. He expected quite some shocked faces. It wasn't surprising how so many of these kids had managed to spin a web of lies around their made up personalities. Almost frightening how easily they managed to fool those around themselves. "Thank you for Participating everyone, remember to stay safe out there and now you all know how good your friends are at lying." He said as he showed the door to all involved.
