INTERACTION!
Amadea Campbell, Ami Procoppio, and Mia Alexander
Ami was a sweet girl. Well, that was obvious. She was a playful girl, joking around all too often, having fun, and making the most of her life as of yet. All that and maybe finding a few plants along the way. That was the one thing Anatole remembered about her. He noticed all of this in her charming remark. "The day you change is the day I murder whoever tried to correct an already perfect Anatole."
This was just what Anatole needed after a few painful days. Well, murder did seem a little violent, but he got the gist. She turned her attention toward Amadea after, and Anatole just stood there, blushing.
After Ami plummeted into the water and Anatole got brutally splashed, he narrowly recovered before feeling a pair of cold hands on his bare shins. Oh God. Oh boy. What was this? Some strange sea monster pulling him under? This could go wrong very fast...
Suddenly, his legs were pulled from under him as his just dry head fell back under the water. Thankfully, the creature was merciful and removed their grip for a moment upon seeing the boy plummet back into the lake without an ample breath.
He only tipped about half a meter under the water before he felt another pain in his shoulder. Another monster reached toward his shoulders, and for a moment, Anatole opened his eyes underwater before this "creature" ripped him up out of the water with a frantic cry. "Sorry, I thought you were Mia!" Oh, Ami.
Anatole struggled to catch his breath as he dove toward the edge of the lake, leaning against the muddy walls. Ami had lunged after him equally as sudden, and he barely had any time to react."It...It's okay. Trust me."
And just like that, the slender Slytherin slithered towards Anatole, muttering something to him. Do not mess with Ami? Well, yes, Anatole did already regret it. It was painful and exhausting to go through being dunked without ample breath. Wasn't she a bit of a conundrum? Complimenting one moment and sabotaging the next?
He caught his breath and narrowly evaded capture when Amadea followed suit with Mia. There was something about Anatole and girls...they found him nice? He wasn't sure, but it was indescribable. "Scary...?" He muttered back to Amadea, his expression reading concern. "And what's this about banshees?"
Well, thankfully, the Campbell girl decided to take some initiative. It really should have been Anatole who did it, title and all, but this would have to do. What she said sounded...exciting? Thrilling? An utter failure? Sure, yeah, Anatole stood no chance against girls like these, with fire and brimstone in their veins, shooting across the pool faster than lightning. But, it was all for fun...right?
And a prize sounded enticing.
"Oh, sure! That sounds fun. Touch the edge and swim back?" He laughed, trying to fit in with what they said. "What's the consequence? I'm ready whenever."

Anatole looked confused. He was just so..adorable. Like a lost puppy with a bone. He held his position almost too seriously, and took pride in that. Nothing wrong with that, just he didn't have a clue what was going on at all. And that made respecting him just a tad bit harder.
Turning towards Amadea just as she proposed a contest, Mia smiled. She was a good swimmer-she had swam for a bit on a team, but she could in no way beat the others. So revenge on the loser it was.
The consequence for the looser-they have to go up and hug one of the teachers-or one of the kids sitting alone.
With a mischevious glint in her eye, Mia turned to face the three children her age, looking at them one by one. When she got to Ami her heart fluttered, and she quickly averted her gaze, her cheeks getting red.
Unless you're too chicken.
Raising an eyebrow, Mia shot a pointed stare at the Prefect, the lost puppy with a bone, Anatole. She knew that he couldn't turn this down. It would be almost..wounding for him.
And what if she lost? Well hugging someone wouldn't be that bad. It was just a minor bump. But she was sure that she wouldn't loose. Too sure.

"Rude," Ami snorted, although she knew Amadea was right. Being extremely loud was a talent of the redhead's, especially when she was scared or frightened. She'd utilized her unusual skill in opening a secret passageway, as well, which was definitely one of the weird things she'd done that year. "I scream like a banshee," Ami explained to Anatole, who looked rather confused. "Amadea's been a victim of it quite a few times.""Ami's scary. Her banshee scream especially."
"And what's this about banshees?"
Amadea then suggested a swimming contest, and Ami half-wanted to just climb out of the water right then and there. She was a terrible swimmer, only knowing the bare basics to keep her head above water. She just had never had the time to swim, with her music and her training. Swimming just had never been on the agenda amidst the piano, skateboarding, and punching other people. But, she wasn't going to be a Debby Downer and spoil the fun for everyone else, so she plastered on a wide, convincing smile. "Yes! A swimming contest, down and back. Sure!"
She vocalized her assent to Mia's suggested consequence. Okay, that wasn't so bad, she could handle that, because she knew that she would lose. "Alright... ready, set, go!" she cried when the others were ready.

Clarisse was a fan of swimming on most days, but her preferences were heated indoor pools empty of anything but muggles, and so she hadn't yet tried out the Lake. On a day like this, though, it would be a shame to miss out. Besides, the professors had set it up so nothing could get to them. Perhaps the water would be a little cold, but it would be a nice change to the heat. Clarisse wrapped her arms around her belly, exposed by her costume and glanced around the water, searching for someone she could join.Interacting with Aurelia and Oliver Hart
A girl she recognised from her cabin was sitting at the water's edge alone, hugging her knees. Deciding to start with her, Clarisse shifted over, a smile on her face as best as she could make it. "Do you wanna swim?" she asked, still with her arm wrapped around herself, "I fancy a dip myself." She glanced over the water, where groups of children were swimming around. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Oliver too, swimming towards the shore. "Hey, Oli! You wanna join us?"
She glanced awkwardly back at her cabinmate, realising she hadn't waited for her response. "If you do want to come, that is."

Oliver's head shot up and he looked at Clarisse as she walked on the shoreline. Not only was he her friend, but she was pretty to look at. Really. He swam closer and when she called for him, he instantly had a massive grin.Interacting with Clarisse Mosse.
Oli. Nobody ever called him that. He felt they would if he finally got popular. All popular kids had cool, short, nicknames everyone bothered to remember. With a bit of blush not so visible from the distance, he nodded, "yep!"
Oliver was a good swimmer. He wasn't a strong one because he wasn't strong, but he was very capable of most techniques, and could hold his breath for a great deal of time. "Clarisse! Check this out!" He yelled, a bit too loud so more kids turned. He went under water, and was in an area shallow enough to plant his palms and for his legs to rise up. Two thick thighs leading to two small feet were displayed by Oliver, his "impressive" move. He waved his hairless legs a bit femininely then dropped. His head shot up with a massive smile, spewing water and wiping his eyes. He wiped his hair back, having a posh looking, pulled back hairstyle.

Amadea treaded water awkwardly as everyone digested her suggestion. Meanwhile, Anatole was still confused over the whole banshee scream thing. "Ami's banshee screams are terrifying," Amadea added. "It's like a dementor is sucking out your ear drums instead of your soul." Of course, Amadea had never experienced any sort of dementor sucking out her soul (which she considered quite lucky) but she could use her imagination. She was lucky that she had become less terrified of the screams, even though she still caused her heart to skip a beat every time she heard it.Interacting with Anatole Evans, Twinnie, and Ami Procoppio
Moving away from the topic of terrifying screams, everyone seemed to be getting ready for the swimming contest. Amadea didn't want to think too cockily or count her chickens before they hatched or anything like that, but she was feeling fairly confident in her swimming abilities. Swimming was one of the only sports Amadea could actually do well. While most of the other little children in her swimming lessons looked as though they were drowning and splashing wildly, Amadea slid through the water gracefully and quickly. On land, Amadea was not the most graceful person, so she enjoyed the time she spent in the water when she could feel like a fish.
"That sounds like a good consequence," she said with a laugh. Physical contact with anyone was not something Amadea enjoyed, and hugging a teacher was just straight up weird. Plus, they would still be soaking wet from the lake. It was just another incentive not to be last.
She got into position, ready to swim as Ami counted them off, then dove into the water with a small splash and began stroking. Automatically she began swimming freestyle, mostly because it was her fastest stroke and she figured the others wouldn't be doing anything else. She made sure to rotate her shoulders and breathe only when necessary, kicking her feet wildly as she swam toward the edge of the lake. Because the lake was not like a pool, she couldn't do a flip turn, but instead just turned around as quickly as she could. While it lost her a few seconds, Amadea was sure that she could make up the time while swimming back.
When she reached the spot where they had started, she came up out of the water, breathing heavily and rubbed her eyes so she could see. During the race, Amadea hadn't noticed anything or anyone, and looked around to see where the others were and how far ahead or behind they had finished.

INTERACTIONS!
Amadea Campbell, Ami Procoppio, Mia Alexander. Permission given to write up results to race with explanation (included at bottom).
The girls' voices resounded with a happy tune of competition. What should have been all smiles was now a mob of greedy smirks, ready to take the title--and bragging rights. It meant nothing more to Anatole than some friendly competition, but the brutal punishment playful consequence sounded harmless. Hugging recluses? Was that included in the Prefect job description? Maybe...
"How about I alleviate this punishment and say that you have to hug someone over the course of the camp, because as of now I don't see many people alone." Anatole shaded his eyes from the sun and stared around, not noticing many outliers of poolgoers.
Ami turned toward the group and Anatole held the line, making sure no one got a head start. With a smirk beaming across, he was prepared for whatever the outcome. "Alright...ready...set...go!"
Just like that, they were off to the races! Clearly, some of them shot through the water better than the others and plowed through those who were already there. Stirring up quite a scene as well as stirring up the water, the four of them sprinted across the lake, giving it their all. Anatole was lagging behind initially, with Ami surging ahead at about halfway. Clearly, a terrible breaststroke like his wouldn't get him far. Therefore, he switched to an equally terrible backfloat, rolling over once or twice before pushing himself up. The girls showed athletic prowess, yes, and for a moment, Anatole was concerned he would lose. He couldn't embarrass himself!
As they rounded the edge, Mia had surged past Amadea and Anatole had attempted to keep up, but successfully recovered as he touched the wall third and shot back towards where they began. Amadea, suddenly aware she was in fourth, picked up the pace and moved back again towards Anatole and Mia. It was a little scary to be close to last and see the banshee dominating out of all, so with a frantic, hasty breath, Anatole sped up at the halfway mark, leaving Mia behind. It was clear Ami was close to giving out, so it was Amadea's chance to snatch those bragging rights directly out of her grasp.
And that's what she did. As they reached the last fourth of the way back, Amadea lunged consistently past Ami with a strong paddle and reached their initial location first! Huzzah, bragging rights there!
But the race wasn't over yet! A fierce battle ensued in the final moments, Evans v. Procoppio. Alexander held a narrow fourth, but Ami and Anatole fought until the final moments. They were neck in neck!
The final result was narrow, yes, but Anatole held a swift second while Ami was left in third in the end. Mia trailed in not far behind, taking fourth. Hopefully, she wasn't down from such a loss. Anatole cheered to himself, smiling as they all met up again. "Whew! That was hard..." The boy was breathless. "Not sure about you guys! Good game, well played!" Anatole was already ready for a nap, exhausted and wet. Hopefully the girls took the race in good spirits.

FINAL RESULTS + EXPLANATIONS
In first place, Amadea Campbell with a steady lead. In second, Anatole Evans. Close third was taken by Ami Procoppio, and last place was Mia Alexander.
As stated on the Discord, I was feeling uncreative yet wanted to be rather fair with the results. So I rolled a pair of six-sided die and added your Agility for the final standings, considering that's the statistic I thought would fit best in this narrow race. The final die totals were...
Ami: 10 (roll) + 4 (agility) = 14
Mia: 5 (roll) + 7 (agility) = 12
Amadea: 10 (roll) + 7 (agility) = 17
Anatole: 9 (roll) + 5 (agility) = 14
Since Ami and Anatole tied, I held a roll off with one die and Anatole won (5 v. 2), therefore coming in second. I made it a close race between the two. Mia just got an unlucky roll while the rest of us hit it crazy high. In the end, it doesn't matter all too much since it's just a race. However, Mia, enjoy your punishment! If you have any questions, feel free to ask via Discord.

Anatole lowered the stakes on the consequence without a second thought, and Ami's eyes widened to the size of dinner plates in an effort not to totally destroy him with a menacing evil eye. Where was the fun in a boring consequence?
She yelled go, and began swimming as best she could through the water. To her extreme pleasure and surprise, she sliced through the water fairly easily... at least, until Amadea totally went all power-move on the group and surged to the front. Mia had a momentary glimpse of glory, being at the front, but she was overtaken fairly quickly after that.
In the end, Amadea won, although that wasn't surprising. Anatole came in second, also not surprised, somehow keeping his manly and prefectly reputation intact. Ami herself came in third, which was a whole new experience within itself, and unfortunately, Mia came in fourth.
Huffing, Ami flopped onto the water with a sigh, floating on the surface on her back with a small smile on her face. "Never again," she mumbled, shaking her head. "Nope."
Ami could help herself, she waded over to the Slytherin and wrapped her up in a hug. Releasing her, the Hufflepuff announced, "There. There's her hug."

INTERACTION
Ami Procoppio, Amadea Campbell, and Anatole Evans
Slicing through the water, Mia could feel herself slowing down. It wasn't that she was out of shape-well yes she was. Barely swimming throughout the school year had put her at a disadvantage, and the lack of healthy food (Mia preferred to eat a slice of cake and a bottle of water for each meal) had left her body weak.
With a grudging smile, she stood up dead last. No one likes a sore looser! And she wasn't one. Walking over to Amadea, she said the mandatory "I'm very impressed by your swimming skills!" and moved on to face the consequences.
Looking over at Ami, Mia had to crack a smile. While the rest of them looked okay, she looked defeated, huffing and throwing herself on the water in a perfect (or what Mia thought was perfect) backfloat.
Anatole was smiling, but still huffing, and congratulated all of them. Mia had a feeling that he was cheering for himself. Mia mentally cheered for him too.
Now for her consequence. Before she could figure out who she wanted, or would hug, (she wanted to get it over with), Ami waded over and threw her arms around the young girl.
Mia sucked in her breath and breathed in, unnerved. The girl caught her off guard, and that usually didn't happen to the young Slytherin. Scratch that. It never happened. It was okay though, and welcome. Mia had thought about doing it herself, but she figured that it would make things awkward between them. Though she had a small crush on the Hufflepuff, she knew that they were friends, just friends and nothing else. While that saddened her, it was also the best thing in the world. Being friends with Ami was something special-something that she had and could treasure.
Speachless, Mia just smiled a small smile at the older girl, happy.There. There's her hug.

Amadea pumped her hands in the air, realizing she had won the race. Wiping all of the excess lake water from her eyes, she turned to see what was happening behind her. She was happy that her swimming skills had paid off in something. While she hadn't done much swimming during the school year because she was too busy with school work and prefect duties, she still managed to get in daily walks and managed to stay (somewhat) in shape.~ INTERACTION ~
Ami Procoppio, Mia Alexander, and Anatole Evans
But to be honest, Amadea was more happy about not being last than being first. She had really not wanted to have to hug a stranger (because ew, physical contact) and thankfully she hadn't come in last, so she didn't have to worry about it. Unfortunately, Mia did.
"Good job everyone!" she exclaimed with a grin, raising her hand for a high five from whoever wanted to give her one. "That was fun!"
Amadea was about to open her mouth and ask who Mia was going to hug when Ami came out of nowhere and wrapped Mia up in a big wet hug. Amadea laughed at the expression on the Slytherin's face; she was completely caught off guard.
Amadea stood awkwardly to the side until Ami released Mia from her arms and smiled, announcing that the hug had been given, then continued to stand awkwardly in the lake, unsure of what to do next. Should she suggest another activity for them to do? Did they want to do something else? Human interaction was so stressful that Amadea sometimes wondered why she evened bothered with it. She decided to just let someone else decide what they should do next. After all, it had been Amadea's idea to do the swimming contest and she was now fresh out of any other ideas of things they could occupy themselves with. Hopefully, someone else had an idea.
