And the game begun! But, to Pax's surprise and confusion, it had been off to a slower start then most of their games.

However, the chasers of the team seemed to be doing well, just as they'd hoped. So they supposed that was a good thing. As Haley addressed the team, Pax shrugged, swirling round to hit a bludger towards Cecily. However, they'd miss, and have to bite their tongue to prevent a loud curse from being yelled. They hadn't missed a shot the last game... why now?

"Next time," they muttered under their breath. "You'll hit 'em next time."

Okay. Gryffindor was winning. This was perfect, just perfect.

And Ravenclaw didn't even move...? This was strange, but that didn't matter, since her team was winning.

Hannah was one of the youngest players, and she was a bit scare? No, she was simply unfamiliar with the game, and that made her mostly observe. Still, she was part of the team and had to do something.

Quidditch was an interesting sport. When she was younger her parents had took her to watch a match, but as she was young, she didn't really care. The sport was similar to Scottish Rugby, but it wasn't the same. Hannah was moving around in her broom, she wasn't scared of heights, but losing. That was the worst.

She observed as her team moved around and she did the same.

Cecily barely had time to breathe before two Gryffindor bludgers came flying towards her. Well, this was a new one-- usually she wasn't targeted until much later in the match. Goal accomplished: be perceived as a threat. And yet, Gryffindor still couldn't get themselves together to actually make contact with the Ravenclaw captain. She smirked as she easily evaded the attacks. They'd have to try harder than that if they wanted to win-- both sides, actually. It seemed Ravenclaw was off to an uncharacteristically slow start. Time to step up their game.

Ravenclaw was hurting, anyone could see that and you didn't have to be up in the air to see the scarlet ball going in time after time again onto their side of the hoops. The sullen silence and groans that filled the Ravenclaw stands was almost painful but Hayley was on fire. She watched wide-eyed as the girl handled the ball almost like it was a part of her and each time, it hit fair and square. "Go, Hayley!" Elena cheered grinning before turning her own attention to the issue at hand. The blasted Snitch, they were up fifty but either Seeker could turn the tide of that troublesome situation very quickly as both Seekers very well knew.

It didn't look like the other Seeker had gotten a visual on it but Elena hadn't either and she did not want to be playing catch-up if he locked eyes first. They were not going to have a repeat of last time, that much Elena Jangleton was going to make sure as she streaked down the pitch looking for anything, something that looked like it betrayed a fleck of gold and from there, it was game on to see who could get their grubby hands on it first.

Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw

Finnegan didn't know whether to be happy or annoyed. Gryffindor had scored several times, eliciting whoops from a sea of gold and red in the stands, but it hadn't exactly been hard. If the Hufflepuffs had played like stupefied gargoyles during the last game, he could have scored too! And if he had, perhaps he wouldn't be stuck down on the sidelines. Still, if that was what it took to get a victory in, he supposed he could swallow his pride just this once.

The game kicked off, and Taisia's eyes stayed locked on Edward. After a moment, she realised he wasn't moving. In fact, he was looking right at her! She quickly broke away, realising he wasn't the only one immobile. What on earth was her team doing? "Go Ravenclaw! We got this!" She cheered for her team, hoping they would do something!

Wow, and he thought he was lazy. Ravenclaw was currently putting him to shame…and he was the one who’d brought supplies for a nap during the game!

On the bright side they were getting points he guessed, on the even brighter side he was going to be able to give Feathers soooo much crap for her house's team after this. Because whatever the hell this was, there was no way this was an actual plan, absolutely not.

“This is kinda painful to watch.”

Obviously the thing to do was not watch said game.
