Interacting directly with:This time Delilah went on the defensive, although this was a little bit useless as nobody actually directly aimed for her this time around, the only thing that happened to the ravenclaws was that a large, unforgiving cloud appeared and grew above their heads, courtesy of Alan Vanes, a guy who was in Delilah's year but she didn't think she had overly interacted with previously, it might be worth having a chat after the duel.

Or… Perhaps his assumption was incorrect. Not that it mattered, the Ravenclaw’s attention was drawn in far too many directions for his strategic mind to be of any use. Still, Tom saw Aida’s spell hit its mark amidst the chaos—that was good? It was hard to assess his team’s position with so many other duelists on the piste, particularly students from abroad he did not know all too well. It was no time for excitement or celebration; it was still anyone’s duel.
"Hmmmmmmm…" Thomas pondered his next moves.Action: As strategized!

Well- if last round proved to be uneventful this round changed that. Perhaps the duellists had heard Vague Duelling Mod McGee's thoughts about craving action. Amaury thought he was going to be a target, but his preventative measures went unused. Especially since his spell wasn't even successful. The evasive boy seemingly being forgotten for this round as it seemed like everyone focused on other preventative measures. Greta wanted the Gryffindors to have a taste of storm cloud and her successful spell loomed over the brave and the bold. Hopefully they weren't scared by a little lightning. Hadashi focused on protecting his foreign teammate, healing him back up to almost full health. What a talented boy!
Lamik loved fog it seemed, loved it so much that right as it started to fade he brought it back with a force. Not only was he covered but so was Amaury, Delilah, and Hadashi. The poor guest team was in a rough spot. Especially as Alan returned their storm cloud with one of his own. Hopefully other countries had thunderstorms. Duelling Mod McGee didn't know, he was barely real, barely had any knowledge at all except for duelling. Meenauh, a powerful witch truly unmatched in her wisdom, casted such a perfect blinding spell that even without focus the ball of light seemed to... stay. McGee stared in awe, but not for that long as their eyes started to hurt looking at it.
Delilah ran interference for Ravenclaws, attempting to return their cloud to sender but it kind of just mixed in with the other storm clouds. Not making them any more powerful, just kind of- absorbing. At least the trusty Eagles wouldn't have to worry about a looming storm any more. She tried to target Lamik as well, but he was just to slippery to hit. Aida experienced the same, Lamik being able to avoid a brutal slowing charm that was headed right towards him. Thomas had a different target in mind, possibly the most elusive person on the duelling piste. A beautiful blindfold flew out of his wand but missed Alan entirely. Leaving him to evade just as easy as he could before.

───•─•────────────────────────────────────•─•───

───•─•────────────────────────────────────•─•───As a large blackened storm cloud coalesced above the heads of one of the seemingly elder of hte two Hogwarts teams, Greta felt a certain level of comfort. If there was at least one thing that she could be happy about, it was that her wand had yet to fail her. She hadn't really thought about it before now, but this really was the first true test of its ability since its crafting. Her own skills were being put to the test not only in her ability to cast, but also in her ability to have crafted the implement that channeled that energy in the first place. So far, it had not let her down, and she could feel a certain level of attunement with the core that drove her to soften the worry from her face and face more confidently forward towards her opponents.
That strength would only rise as a chorus of an oh-so-familiar song started out above the noise of the surrounding duels and the cheers and jeers of the audience. Unable to help herself, she broke into a wide smile, head snapping in the direction from which it came. She had searched for him before—him and the rest of the Horntail Horde—but had failed to find him previously. But there was no question now. Haloed by those who shone less brightly than he, Yeffie stood out in the crowd, his voice a pronouncement of Durmstrang might.
"Sjef!" Glee wrapped her exclamation, joy spreading through her every fiber like a fire to put the chill of unease at bay. Had she the time to really think about it, she might find herself surprised as to just how significant a different his presence had made to her demeanor. Like a lord's inspiring speech, he instilled an undeniable sense of resolve within the diminutive girl. With him there, she could hardly fail. She could not disappoint him, not when he had come all this way to cheer her on.
Setting her jaw and straightening her shoulders, she turned her attention back towards the duel, ducking just in time as a stream of light streaked her way. There wasn't time to offer him more than the acknowledgement that she was aware of his arrival. So far, she had seemed to luck out with being relatively ignored, but that could—clearly—change at any moment. That was just fine. The other teams had already proven themselves to be formidable opponents, there was no denying that. But that just made the battle all the more exciting. After all, with enough perseverance, even the greatest could fall.

Amaury Favreau
Amaury was trying very hard to hold back the most brutal spells he could cast. Strategy, he reminded himself. In a typical duel, he would be free to let loose a maelstrom of curses designed to harm and hinder his opponents, but this new scenario, this chaotic three-way duel, was about casting just the right spell at just the right time. Which, apparently, was something he couldn't fucking do anyway, but there was no time to dwell. Seeing the Hogwarts students incapacitated at his team's victory would be revenge enough.

Summer Duelling Funtime Extravaganza, Match: 1
The battlefield was slowly becoming a museum for weather effects.
The darkness was growing more and more, as a few more storm clouds were covering the battlefield, including her team — there was only one solution to the problem: Dark to Light. She raised her wand up in the air and concentrated hard on her fingertips, draining as much light she could into her wand.
"Lumos Maxima!"
Was the spell, and a bright ball of light sped up above the clouds, most probably blinding everyone around. She had never cast that spell with such power, and almost forget to shield herself from its light. And at a certain point, the connection between the wand and light broke and her heart sank as she believed the spell failed her. But no — the ball of light was still shining brightly as an angel, and didn't require her attention anymore.
"Wow," she said out loud, not quite believing the result.
And quickly returned her eyes to the battlefield (to whoever she could notice in the fog and under the clouds) to find whoever she could target.

Aida still hadn't mastered aiming with their new wand yet. It was so flippy and swooshy that it became easy to get swept away with the chestnut wand’s playful action. This time, at least, its distraction proved unfortunate for the wix’s aim. Still, Aida just love the absolute relic of a stick and couldn’t begin to fathom why Valentin hated the thing so much.

The fog was clearing, and that wouldn't do at all. Lamik raised his wand and recast the spell that he had come to rely on this match. It really was a wonderful one. Made life far, far easier. A few people seemed to be targeting, which was pretty damn annoying. Oh well.

Hadashi smirked. His healing spell worked wonderfully! That was all those hours of studying showing their fangs.
The feeling of healing, not just unleashing devastation on his opponents was a new one for Hadashi. And he was certainly enjoying it.
He prepared to cast his next spell. So far, this was going well.

Alan thought that this duel was pretty much according to plan, except that the Ravenclaw team had decided to turn his own spell against his own team, which was less than ideal. But something they could live with. Alan had to continue staying optimistic and perhaps they would stay in the lead. Now that would be the best case scenario he was hoping for.
