so…
Bailey thought. @ Shiawase Mamori knows Simon. I think most people know Simon… he really is a sweet boy and treats everyone well. Him and @AngelFyre McCubbinare perfect for one another.
Bailey smiled as she thought these things, listening to the others conversation. He smile disappeared when AF turned around and said that Simon was one of the racers knocked off of his broom by the waterfall.
Bailey didn’t realized she had been holding gn her breath till she saw who she assumed was Simon waking splashly towards his broom. Letting her breath out, she turned to AF and said “I’m sure he will be fine- he is tough. He can make it!”
Bailey’s eternal optimism showed here, as she was cheerful and everyone else was worried.
To be clear, Bailey was still worried on the inside. She was still thinking oh no oh no oh no will be be ok? She should be fine… he is tough. But that fall could have hurt him! Oh no oh no oh no - breath Bailey. He will be fine. He will be fine.
Taking a breath, Bailey took a step forward and stood next to AF; Bailey squeezed her shoulder, and “I am sure he will be fine. Any injuries will and can be healed- and a broom, his broom looks fine. But if it was broken or something, it can be replaced.”
we are all born beautiful. it is a tragedy we are convinced that we are not”

Spring Races
Gratefully aware that Bailey and Shiawase were there and offering supportive encouragement when she realized Simon had fallen off his broom, she turned back around to them with a very relieved smile. "You know, I will always be concerned seeing him fall off his broom, of course, but I know that level of concern has been amped up some given the first incident I just mentioned." She looked at them and laughed a laugh that hinted at more than just a heaping spoonful of relief and gratitude, combined with a skosh of embarrassment. "I am glad you were both here. Your supportive concern was most appreciated."
Sitting back down, she thought about Shiawase's answers. AngelFyre loved her activist spirit and her desire to change things for the better. The thought began to brew in the recesses of her brain that maybe if they were both at summer camp together, they could discuss possible strategies for presenting the changes they would like to see implemented.
Then she stopped for a minute to think about her favorite memory of the past year. Disqualifying any memory that was all things Simon, AngelFyre waffled between two. Well, one had actually happened, and the other was a deep desire as yet to be fulfilled.
"Favorite memory is a tricky one for me. The most truthful answer, of course, involves Simon, but if I pick one out that is really just Hogwarts related, it would be going head to head with the duelling co-Captains of Gryffindor, both 4th years, in my first ever duel. I stayed in longer than anticipated and landed my first spell right out of the gate. That was a win for me personally, so I was satisfied with that outcome. The tricky part of that question though, comes in when I think of one thing in particular I have been dying to do since our first Charms class. If I get around to it, I so badly want to cast Tarantallegra and make the suits of armor in the Corridors dance. When that happens, that will be my number one choice for favorite memory."
Looking at Shiawase she just had to laugh. She recalled that Shiawase was a rule follower, and though it would likely be impossible to convince her that AngelFyre was too, she really was. There was just something about that mental image of dancing suits of armor that was just plain irresistible though.
@Shiawase Mamori and @Bailey Glade
The magic is real.
