Wow, Akari couldn't believe that Summer camp was already here. It had felt like just yesterday she was packing up to leave Hogwarts. Though she wasn't complaining, for she was actually quite happy to be back and participating in summer camp.

Rather late and nearly about to lose her balance from carrying Kenji along with all of her luggage, Akari stumbled through the doors of the Augurey Cabin. Upon entering she moved a little to the side to make sure she was not blocking the way for anyone else who might wish to enter, then attempted to nudge Kenji up to her shoulder. Once he got the idea and crawled up, Akari proceeded to as carefully as possible drop her stuff right where she stood, for if she had not she most definitely would have toppled over, and that was not really her preferred way of making an entrance, to say the least.

Her eyes then curiously wandered around, looking at the decor and set up of the whole cabin, eventually coming to the conclusion was that it was quite to her liking.
After then catching her breath she decided that it would probably be best to try and find a proper place to put her stuff. So luckily having learnt from the last time, instead of trying to carry all her luggage Akari just began to drag it towards the area of the bunks.

Once she succeeded, she exuded a big sigh of relief and then she plopped down on the first empty bed she saw. Only then she realized that she hadn't yet taken a proper look at who else was assigned to this cabin, so with a small grin she piped up "Hello everyone!"

Evening
After that exhausting
and long train ride
At first it was not Cash initial decision to attend this year Summer Camp. After the green eyes knew that this year Summer Camp will be held at Hogwarts very own Campgrounds, Cash rolled their eyes from how lame it will be. But when they think back what waiting for them back at the Ironwood Manor which is nothing, the young socialite changed their mind.

It was a last minute decision, really. Soon the end of school year come to an end and when they came home, they had a bliss two weeks of it until Uncle Enzo came to visited them and their mother. It not Cash hated the man per se but there is something about him that did not sit well with the soon to be Third year.

And so, when it is time for Cash to go for their Summer Camp; the only one that politely saying goodbye to them was the ever polite and well manner Barclay - the Ironwoods chauffer -. When they get on board the Hogwarts Express, they picked an empty compartment and sent a glare to everyone that trying to enter their compartment.

But it was hours ago. Now Cash had been arrived at the Campgrounds and their Head of House already allocated all of the students (either from Hogwarts or the other international schools) their cabins. Cash tuned out the rest until their name was called upon and they knew which cabins they were allocated.

After all of the student divided into groups based on their cabin names, Cash followed the herd. Soon after they arrived at the Augurey cabin. First thing they saw was the lack of color the cabin have but the spacious space the cabin provided, make up for the lack of color and Cash would not complain about that.

Next, was their cabin mates. Some faces they recognize and some do not. Their eyes landed on Alec Mason. It been awhile since Cash saw the curly - haired ball. The last time both of them met was under an absurd and ridiculous situation when both of the Pureblood kids' families decided to betrothed both of them to each other.

Cash did not know whether that situation still going on or not. The green eyes need to talk to Alec one of these day to see where he stood on that matter Dragging their not so heavy trunk to one of the occupied bed and there is a Asian looking girl greet all of the, Cash is the nearest to her, so they greet back.

"Hey,"Cash smile to the girl. The Cuban descendant saw the girl before around campus and if they memory served the correctly she is a Quidditch player much like themselves. "You are a Quiddith player, right?"Cash asked the girl. The green eyes then lifted their hand out for Akari to shake. "Cassandra, Cash for short"Cash introduced themselves.

The green eyes believe they never met the other girl properly before and it only a proper and polite fitting to introduced oneself to another. The green eyes then looked around. Then the Hogwarts Groundskeeper entered Augurey Cabin. The man introduced himself as Eliseo Céspedes. The young Ironwoods let out a small chuckle when Professor Céspedes called all of them as honguitos which translate in English as a mushrooms.

Being half Cuban themselves, that little nickname make them smile. Cash then looked back at Akari, "Hey, do you want to be bunk mates?"They asked the other Qudditch player. "If not, that's alright"Cash paused a bit. The green eyes then dragged their trunk and put it on the bottom bunk as a subtle way to claim the space as them.

Cash then waited for a moment for Akari to answered their question. Their eyes then observed the room some more. Then their green eyes landed on a girl that earlier talking with Nell. "Be right back"Cash said to Akari. The Beater then walked toward the lone girl. She seems like out of her element.

"I believe I never saw you at school before. Are you a first year or from one of those International ones?"Cash inquired in fluent and perfect French to the brunette haired girl, hoping the girl understand them. If not they could say that all over again in English.

Augurey Welcome to the Augurey Cabin Closed
Erin would unpack her bag but she was not going to fill the trunk that would consume all she had. No, she was going to place all her things on her bed, the comforter pulled back and her luggage unpacked as if she was reviewing the contents. She was counting, once, then twice then a third time. Muttering 42... 42... out loud to herself. No, not the answer of all things, just the number of items packed in her bag that now sat upon her bed.

She would pull her comforter and sheet overtop, as if she was covering a corpse in a morgue. She would not need many things, the basics over and over again. Clothes, a writing device, hygiene products. There was no jewelry, no personal articles, no letters from home, no photographs. She had her wand on her person, a few lengths of wizard tight and some galleons. Perhaps she was packing light for the sake of making summertime purchases.

She would kneel down and look under the bed. She was not checking for monsters, she was the monster under the bed, the monster in everyone's head. She would peer under. There was plenty of space to fit, to make a nest, to slither into the safe, dark, cramped space. There was an instinctual comfort in cramped spaces.

She would hear the approach of encroaching footsteps. "Erin," a voice not well-known to her announced and she froze like a deer. If she did not move, he could not see her.

His hood, a rather mundane but effective tool at obfuscating his shared form. She glanced in his direction, Jack with the wrong voice. Another one? A changed one? She did not know. Her eyes quivered laterally. "Good to see you around here."

"Good to see your... face again," the singular image that seared into her mind. The visage that made none distinct. What did he want? Why was he here. "Which are... is..." what was the proper word for this? Way to say it? To inquire something as simple as an alleged "name."

"Not a bad cabin, is it?"

She glanced past him, furrowed her brow and endeavored to focus as her eye entered a flurry of nystagmus. "Yes, it has the extra things that make a house a home," as the saying goes. She could not identify the difference, the frills and the novelty seemed to bring peace, emulate a personality, tell a tale and give comfort. How platitudes like live, laugh, love touched someone's heart when they were merely packed sentiments was beyond her.

"I hope you like rain because Augurey are supposed to predict it."

She nodded as she moved away from the bed she was about to slither beneath like a snake under a rock. "Does your kind dislike the rain?" It was conceivable, but wasn't Thomas soaked to the bone when he dragged himself shivering into the common room. When she watched him seize on the floor. She cocked her head to the side like a curious bird.

"Assume we'll have to deal with the sound of it all month."

"I suppose so," she replied with a slight sway in her stance as she returned to her full height.

"Will you tell me why you have his face?" Paracelsus' face. Jack B.'s face. Jack W.'s face. A face that she has seen over and over again, defying the odds of genetic variability.

Just a trick of the lighting they said...

So he had not exactly had a plan beyond check on Erin but if he was being honest he had sort of expected to have been attacked upon approach, so the fact that she just froze in her crouched position on the floor was almost amusing if a little unsettling. Her initial instinct seemed to be staying still, like an animal preparing for danger. Funny, considering he'd been the one prepared for physical assault.

One of his hands came up to touch his face when she acknowledged it, as if unsure what exactly she was talking about, though of course he thought he was aware. What did she see exactly when she looked at his face? Jack, with lighter hair and green eyes? The boy Jack had talked about, the one she had originally mistaken him for? "It's Ruka," he answered with a small smile, dropping his hand again. "My name. Probably doesn't go with my face at all, does it?" A quirk of his lips accompanied what was meant to be a joke. Was it a good idea to be cracking jokes at someone who was barely able to inquire a name anymore?

Observing the quiver of her eyes, Ruka narrowed his own slightly, head cocked to the side. Deciding not to comment on it, he let his gaze drift to her bed, the way her comforter was tucked across her belongings. "Are you feeling at home?" Then, "Is Home a good thing?" It wasn't for everyone, after all.

Her nod was not a clear answer. He wasn't sure if it meant she liked rain or had simply acknowledged his words, but he supposed it didn't quite matter. "My kind," he repeated, a questioning tone to his voice. It would have been good to know what she considered to be her kind to figure out which she thought he belonged to, but alas he knew very little about the way Erin viewed the world. "Rain has a lot of negative connotations," he pointed out. "Sadness, hardships. But it's also a symbol of cleansing, rebirth, a plentiful harvest." He held his hands up and wiggled his fingers - Jazz Hands! "It's very contradictory and people don't usually like when things don't make sense, so they'll often just ignore the contradictory meaning and focus on the one they want to focus on." That wasn't exactly an answer, was it? "It makes people uncomfortable when things can't be neatly stuffed into boxes." Still not an answer. "I quite like rain," he finally concluded.

He watched her head tilting to the side, mimicked the gesture, curious eyes flickering up and down her crouched form. It took a moment for her to straighten up again, standing a few inches taller than he did. The unsteady sway in the movement did not go unnoticed, but she seemed to be able to stand, for now. Still, it made him move marginally closer, just in case.

There was something almost endearing in the question she asked, something that made Ruka swallow heavily nonetheless. "I suppose, uh..." He took a moment to consider it, the similarities in his and Jack's features, the fact that they seemed to share those features with whoever Erin had been dating before. "We all share the same gene pool, right? If you consider that at some point incest was necessary to keep the human race going then you have to assume that we're all related in one way or another, maybe ten generations back, but at some point... And there's a finite amount of ways our DNA can be made up, so it might not be so weird for some of us to look alike despite not being directly related." He lifted his hand again, this time to run it through his hair in a sheepish gesture. "That is to say, I don't really know why we have the same face. I wish I could tell you." He smiled, though it didn't quite reach his eyes. "Will you tell me what Deathwitches are?" he asked carefully, letting his gaze drift out the window for a moment before looking back at her. "And what they're doing at Hogwarts? Why they're here?"

Interacting with/mentioning all the little meatbags in the cabin
Eliseo, admittedly, was not always the best at interacting with others. His years living in the rainforests of central and south American hadn’t exactly honed his people skills and he could, at times come off a bit strange. But Eliseo did recognize at least some of the reservations that some of the young campers seemed to have with the arrival of their chaperon. He couldn’t blame them, at their age he would have also looked an adult authority figure as more of an invader to the cabin. But he hoped in time they would see that he had no intention of curtailing their fun so long as it remained within reason.

But before he continued his rantings and ravings, a few of the students offered him some warm to curious greetings. “Hello little one, I do hope you are ready to eat some pinecones,” he said with a small polite bow to Maria. He recognized the young Hufflepuff girl some but could not recall any prolonged interactions. But regardless, it was always good to see a friendly face in the bunch.

His attention quickly turned as a young boy (Eden) proposed a ponderous question about the supposed rumors about him. Peering down at the boy, Eliseo squatted down until he was level with the child and stared blankly at him for several moments. His eyes bore into the youth like a salamander may gaze at an insect just out of reach. “You are an inquisitive little hombre...I like that, you will need this,” Eliseo muttered, dipping his hand into one of the pockets on his overcoat. After a moment, Eliseo plucked out a smooth rock and tossed it to Eden. “You take care of that, he talks too much for my liking,” Eliseo said, gesturing to the rock. It was just an ordinary rock but Eliseo believed that even the most ordinary stone must get lonely at times.

Springing back to his feet, his eyebrow rose inquisitively as his gaze fell upon another familiar face. “Master Shimada, I see no carrots have tried to eat you this summer. But as for your question about my interview, I wore far worse than the old shrub suit to that dingy meeting...far worse,” he said, allowing his eyes to dramatically widen to stress the mysterious comment.

The unmistakable french from the next greeting Eliseo received piqued his interest as he again whirled around to peer at the young Angélique. “Ah! The pleasure is mine mademoiselle! I am happy to have you here...You seem vaguely familiar but perhaps it is just my old age,” Eliseo said, tapping a curious finger on his chin before shrugging and scooping another rock out of his pocket. “You better take this...Never know when you might need a rock to keep your secrets,” he said with a low gravel to his voice. “I know not where you waddle off to but if you choose to depart dear girl, do beware any pinecone that barks while the sun is still out…”

Offering no further explanation to his somewhat cryptic message, Eliseo clapped his hands and wandered over to a couch. Hopping up onto the couch to use as a makeshift platform, Eliseo decided he would address his little heathenous campers.

“My little potatoes and other root-like creatures, lend me your ears for just a moment…” he paused a moment and began slowly drumming on the bongos that he was still carrying to give a bit of ambiance. “I know some of you may see me as the big scary adult who has come to ruin your fun and keep you in control for this next month...BAH! I am here to make sure that the other cabins learn to be envious of the glorious Augurey cabin...maybe even fear us,” he said lowering his tone to stress the brief malevolence. “You are young, now is the time for you to enjoy your chaos and antics! Camp is a place for new experiences. So long as you are being kind to your fellow cabin mates and don’t do anything to attract acromantulas or other dangerous creatures here, you are free meatbags. Stay mostly safe and we will get along well!”

Eliseo peered around and began removing small rocks from his coat with one hand and dropping them on the ground by the couch. “If you decide to turn this cabin into a massive blanket fort...so be it. If you want to stay up all night dancing and going wild and eating only desserts...so be it. If you all decide we need an indoor bonfire, I don't recommend it but...it can be done! Even if you, like I, believe that we may need to raid a few of the other cabins to gather supplies...so be it. Be kind to one another in this cabin is all I ask. From there, it is my job to enhance your fun, not stop it. For any who may need a small rock companion, there are many now rolling on the ground beneath me. What they lack in the ability to do anything, they make up for in loyalty,” Eliseo said with a slow nod of his head. “If you claim a rock...know that you have just claimed a companion for life.”.

Content with his small attempt to assure his group that he was not there to police them, just protect them, Eliseo plopped down on the couch and began drumming away with more ferocity. It wasn’t but a few moments before he began to chant almost incoherently in Spanish as he played.

Augurey Welcome to the Augurey Cabin Closed
"It's Ruka, My name. Probably doesn't go with my face."

No clue, she had never seen a Ruka before but the face seemed to belong to all sorts of names. "I have seen that face with a lot of names," she commented with a mutter.

"Are you feeling at home?"

Does home have a feeling? She did not think it did, if so she did not feel it. She never felt it. "It is different from home, there are things." That was to say her home was unlike this one. There were walls and beds, there was heat and cool, blankets and clothes, cabinets and counters. What she needed was always there, in fact there was always more than whatever she needed. But houses are not homes. They are places to sometimes exist rather than live.

"Is Home a good thing?"

"Suppose so, I don't have any feelings regarding it. The walls have things, the tables have things. Lots of colors and flames and rain and Knick knacks on the sills," she had this underwhelming urge to swat things off surfaces like a cat. She did not share the impulse but if there were random vases and baubles on the floor, Erin was likely to blame.

Ruka would fill the air with nervous noise, better than panic kissing.

"Rain has a lot of negative connotations... Sadness, hardships. But it's also a symbol of cleansing, rebirth, a plentiful harvest."

He wiggled his hands He held his hands up and wiggled his fingers - a hand harvest! Her eyes widened a bit. She did not need new hands, hers were fine. Where did they reap them from, from arms? Maybe she did not like the rain after all. She frowned.

"It's very contradictory and people don't usually like when things don't make sense, so they'll often just ignore the contradictory meaning and focus on the one they want to focus on." The hand harvest man! The hands!

"It makes people uncomfortable when things can't be neatly stuffed into boxes... I quite like rain."

"What do you do with the hands?" She waved off the inquiry with her hand as if she was wiping off an imaginary white board. She did not want to know.

She would rather know why he had his face.

"I suppose, uh... We all share the same gene pool, right? If you consider that at some point incest was necessary to keep the human race going then you have to assume that we're all related in one way or another, maybe ten generations back, but at some point... And there's a finite amount of ways our DNA can be made up, so it might not be so weird for some of us to look alike despite not being directly related. That is to say, I don't really know why we have the same face. I wish I could tell you."

His family tree was a wreath. They were too similar in her opinion, she did not believe him but she had not gotten answers from the others, she would not be able to expect something from him.

"Will you tell me what Deathwitches are?"

He was a death witch. She was rather sure of it. He even has a hand harvest.

"And what they're doing at Hogwarts? Why they're here?"

"Kaegen Deathmote knows," she answered. In truth Erin did not know. "I know they change shape, they kill, and that many of the Prefects are them because Eris Fawley and Max Avery said so." Her confirmation that one evening allowed her to remain steadfast in her belief the years that followed that the creeping madness she felt festering in her head was not wholly wrong even if she knew well that she was slipping. "But people disappear, I think they die. But I dunno if they really do." She cocked her head to the side, "I am guessing that the returned might be the dead.... the replaced... deathwitches who lack creativity..." It was one of the few things that made sense to her, who in their right mind would have done with Jack had done. An act she could never reconcile. In truth it was a manifestation of festering paranoia, a symptom of a degrading mind as the slug ate away at her humanity and the product of children simply being cruel.

Their adult would start talking about carrots attacking and rock friends. His voice muffled because she was in a room adjacent. Finally someone who made sense. "Great, now the vegetables are going to be a problem." She had no issue suplexing a squash. "Mister Man!" Erin shouted from the bedrooms, "I want a stone friend!" An ally, even a useless one was better than one.

Back to not-Jack, Parce face Ruka.

"The crones never help either, they just stay in the angry woods and hide in the lake." It would not be much of an issue for her much longer either, another spark of hope despite how dark it was. She would not be like the few that were alive, that were not deathwitches. That were not replaced or changed if they were ever human at all. She would be dead but she would be free.

Just a trick of the lighting they said...

As expected, his joke didn't quite land, though it drew a response from Erin that made Ruka frown. "How many names? How many people?" he wondered. One face and how many names associated with it?

Her observations on what a Home was made him hum thoughtfully. He didn't quite understand, wasn't sure she understood what he was asking, but it didn't deter him from asking more questions. Ruka always had more questions. Dozens of them already, and knowing that there wasn't enough time to ask them all right now was already making him anxious. "Are there no things in your home?" he asked. "Or different things?" Her words on not having any particular feelings on the concept of home struck a chord with him, made him lift a hand to hold onto his own arm, scratch at his elbow. He remembered the pendant Jack had told him about, the one his brother thought was turning Erin into something else in exchange for the luxury of feelings. "What do you have feelings about?" Was there anything left? Anything at all?

His little monologue on rain didn't garner much of a reaction, but the expression on Erin's face told him that she may have interpreted something he said in a way he hadn't intended. Her question about hands made him gape, forehead creased in confusion. "I don't-" he started, but she waved it off, left him to stare at his own hands for a moment as if trying to figure out what she had meant.

However, she seemed vastly more interested in why he shared his face with so many others, even if she chose not to comment after his admittedly vague explanation. Ruka, though, wasn't quite ready to dismiss her inquiry. "Why do you think I have his face?" he questioned. She seemed to be full of thoughts on why things were happening, surely she had drawn her own conclusions.

Admittedly, Ruka hadn't expected Erin to answer his question about Death Witches, but she was forthcoming, sharing information albeit occasionally nonsensical-sounding. He felt like he needed to sit down, but he didn't think she'd take kindly to him taking a seat on her bed, so instead he leaned against the window pane as he listened. Deathmote was a name he was aware of, but nobody he had ever talked to, but apparently the person to go to about Death Witches. Noted. Eris Fawley and Max Avery, more names he thought to have heard before, members of his own House, but not ones he recalled ever having talked to.

For a moment he said nothing, just let her words sink in, chewed them over in his mind. Crazy, was what Erin was, if you asked anybody, but she wasn't exactly saying anything that seemed out of the ordinary in comparison to everything they had seen at Hogwarts so far. People did die, vanished, got attacked. The fact that Erin thought most Prefects were Death Witches, he wasn't quite sure what to make of... He didn't exactly know a lot of Prefects on a personal level. Dealla, spunky, motivated, dedicated, innocent. He couldn't see her as anything but human. Thomas, profound, intriguing, self-serving, an unfinished work of art by his own definition. Ruka hummed again.

His thoughts were interrupted by their Groundskeeper, providing the Augurey kids with useless rock companions. Maybe not useless. Enough to hit people over the head with; Did this man realise he was dealing with teens and pre-teens here? Shouldn't he have provided them with helmets to go with those rocks? It unsettled him even more that Erin requested a rock for herself. He'd have to keep an eye on that.

Then, she turned her attention back on him, lamented the uselessness of the crones. The ones that stayed in the angry woods and hid in the lake. Sounded like... Ruka's thoughts drifted again, to Thomas submerging himself in the lake for a little too long to be careful, taking him on a walk by the forest, eyes constantly flickering to something that wasn't there. He had to - needed to - talk to Thomas. "Erin," he said softly, tilting his head to the side. "Is there any chance that... That the crones and the Death Witches are one and the same?" The Death Witches could shape shift, killed, made children disappear. That was what the caretaker had said - Hags were able to shape shift. They ate children, made them disappear. "Who are they, the Death Witches? Which Prefects? Which students?" Percival Gray, apparently, judging by Erin's actions at the Ball. Lanterns, too. "And how do you recognise them? Do they..." He frowned. "I'm told if you pull out the hair of a Metamorphmagus then that hair reverts to its original shape and colour; That way you can tell if who you are talking to is actually a Metamorph in a different shape." At least that was what the caretaker had said. Ruka reached up and pulled one of his hairs out with a vaguely painful tug, held it up to show Erin that it didn't shift its colour. "What about Death Witches? Are there any tricks to see if they really are who they say they are? Do you know?"

Not one to boldly go where none had gone before, Evelynn was more than content to hang back a little bit and let the throng of children who had been assigned to the Augury cabin to thin. Entering behind the rest, she canvassed the interior with a critical and curious look. Almost immediately, the ting ting pitter patter of rain upon the roof and windows caught her attention. Naturally, she'd snapped her head around to the door, still ajar, confused by the sudden shift in weather. The ground, still quite dry, lifted the veil for what it was. An interesting features...

She had to admit, while not fond of being caught in the rain, the sound of it was rather calming. In fact, her mother habitually made use of a thunder storm as white noise to facilitate sleep; it was something Evelynn had grown up accustomed to and the sound often managed to lull her to sleep. The interior was designed in a way to further that sense of serenity. Muted colors and soft textures abounded. In many ways, it reminded her of her own rustic chic room design from home, with characteristics that could even be considered nostalgic of the barn she'd had to leave behind.

Janus—Barn Owl

The hint of a smile brushed her lips, all the moreso as Janus—still tucked neatly away in the cage atop the trunk that Evelynn pulled behind her—started chattering quietly to himself. He'd caught sight of a cat (@Kazuo Shimada) that seemed to be scouting out the area just as much as Evelynn was. That could be good, or bad. For the most part at home, Janus left the barn cats be. Nor was she aware of any occasion where he had been hostile with any of the students' pets. But neither was he typically forced to rest confined in a shared space. Perhaps he was getting a bit ornery...
Still, whether the relaxation afforded by the cabin's favourable design would be sufficient to counteract the nature of its inhabitants was another question entirely. Aden and Beckett were both in this cabin. That, alone, was enough to raise her worries. She'd had to separate a fight between them towards the end of the year. But it wasn't as though they weren't accustomed to bunking together; and this was larger than their dorms. Perhaps they'd stake out space for themselves and leave each other well enough alone to keep the peace.

Kato was here as well. With Evelynn, then, that made four of the girls from the Quidditch team. A shame, really. It might have been nice to have the rest there too, but Evelynn did have to breathe a sigh of relief that she wouldn't have to suffer the presence of D'Spacito. Unfortunately, neither was she fortunate enough to be graced by the presence of any of her friends. Mozor, Holmwood, Marchonné... none of them had made her cabin. Admittedly, peering about the plethora of only somewhat familiar faces, and many that were entirely foreign... she couldn't help feel a hollow pang.

Many had already paired up for bunk mates, however, she noticed. There really wasn't anyone in particular who stood out to her with whom she'd wished to be paired. On the contrary; she was a bit hesitant about nearly everyone. There were too many unfamiliars. Too many potential threats that might wish them all ill. Who among those gathered were working for the hags? Or for SCAR? Had any of them smuggled in illegal contraband? Were their risks to their health? Wolves hidden among the lambs? From face to face Evelynn's gaze wandered, mentally casing just who had made it into their cabin. Already her fingers itched to jot down the names and descriptions of those present into her journal. To begin another chapter of testament.

Then her gaze came to settle on Ryan. An initial knee-jerk reaction of worry was replaced with the acknowledgement of blossoming opportunity. Evelynn had never really had the opportunity to speak with the girl before; yet, she'd heard quite a bit about her. How much was true, and how much an exaggeration? Perhaps it wasn't all bad, being in this cabin. Maybe there could be time for a few questions. If nothing else, most people generally gave the blonde a wide berth...

Making a decision, Evelynn veered her path towards beater. "Good day, Miss Ryan," Evelynn interjected, offering a smile to her upperclassman. "And you as well, Tân," she added, dipping her chin in a brief bow of her head to the Gryffindor. "I am sorry to interrupt..." The sheepishness of her features did give credence to her reticence to cut off their conversation, "...I hope you don't mind if take the top bunk?" The query left to hang in the air as she looked imploringly to Ryan. "Two sets of eyes are better than one to keep a lookout for deathwitches, after all," she offered, hoping to appeal to the sense of worry and offer an alliance of sorts.

After all, she'd always understood "death witches" to be a synonym for hags, and frankly, she was more than happy to keep an eye out for those. Which, if she had caught what she thought she'd heard from the tail end of the conversation between the two, was exactly what they were talking about. Not only death witches, though... Metamorphmagi as well? What a curious conversation they were having.

"Is that true about the hair?" Evelynn wondered, turning to Tân. "That you can determine someone to be a metamorph if you pluck the hair and it changes back to its natural state?"

Admittedly, this was of particular interest to her. Thus far, the Headliner had published articles on dhampir and on half-giants. The next was projected to be one about metamorphs. She had very little first hand experience with them, however. It wasn't lost on her that she might have stumbled into a little treasure trove of information in her fellow lion. Or at the very least, perhaps he'd be able her to someone else who knew more.

Kazuo watched as Ruka spoke with Erin, torn between fascination and concern. He leaned forward as she responded to him, taking in the strangeness of her speech, the way her words didn’t quite make sense. As if she struggled to find them. Strange ways of phrasing things, oddities like ’your kind’. What was it like, he wondered, to go mad. To lose yourself, your rational, logical thoughts, to be consumed by something untouchable. It sounded so awful to him, so terrifying. If there was anything that he could say he was afraid of, it might be this and Erin appeared to be living it.

His attention was drawn back to Cespedes-sensei as the groundskeeper resumed talking to them. Kazuo chuckled when his question was answered, not entirely sure whether to believe Cespedes-sensei or not. He was just bizarre enough that Kazuo could actually imagine him wearing something outlandish to his interview. He went on to basically give them free run of the cabin and even implied that they should raid ther cabins for supplies and that earned another chuckle from Kazuo. Then came the rocks and Kazuo had a feeling that this cabin arrangement wouldn’t be so bad.

He got up off the bunk, giving Fuwafuwa a few scritches as he made his way over to the rock pile and gathered a few. Then he made his way over to Ruka and Erin, noticing that Evelynn had joined them as well. Was she willingly choosing to be Erin’s bunkmate? Interesting. “Rock friends for everyone.” He announced as he approached, offering them to Ruka, Evelynn and Erin with a grin. “Ruka, I’m hungry, let’s go to the barbecue.” He spoke to Ruka, pausing to shift Fuwafuwa back to his owner and scoop up his own furball, dropping Haru onto his shoulder. Once the pets had been reallocated, he reached for Ruka’s hand, tugging the older boy toward the door.

Ruka and Kazuo leave the cabin.

Mentioning: None
Interacting: None, but open to interactions.
Bunk Mate: None, but open.
Lovanna had been placed in the Augurey Cabin, and thought she should have a look around in case she didn't know where to go.

She walked around until she arrived to the bedroom, Lovanna thought it was very private and was very interesting better then the bed she had at home.

She didn't really care who she bunked with, but she had just abandoned her stuff on the floor.
She hadn't brought much, just a picture of her mum, dad and herself when she was 6, her guitar, her guitar learning book, her important printed pillow, and some clothes in case she got dirty or the weather changed.

Lovanna hadn't been to Hogwarts before but hopefully she could make some friends, to help her around and stuff so yeah.

Next up there was the living room, or seating area, whatever you prefered to call it. Lovanna sat down in the seat nearest the fire, and there were a few people sitting in there too.
"Can I bunk with anyone please?" Lovanna asked everyone, and maybe someone would say yes.
She went to gather up her stuff including her guitar and rucksack, she put everything back in her bag and walked back into the seating area.
"This is all my stuff, I don't have a lot. So does anyone not have a bunk mate, because I could be yours if you want?" Selina said.

Selina then abandoned her stuff on the floor again, by her seat and sat down again. She waited patiently for someone to answer, she rarely ever got impatient. Lovanna had recently got a boyfriend but he then had feelings for someone else so they just sort of fell apart. So again Lovanna was a single pringle. Maybe she would meet someone she liked, but it was quite unlikely so she wouldn't get her hopes up, she just hoped someone would want her to be their bunk mate. As she hadn't chosen a bunk yet, in case someone did want to bunk with her. She still sat their patiently waiting for someone to answer.
"I'm Lovanna, Lovanna Slovan de Sau, from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. You may not recognise me because this is my first trip to Hogwarts, but hopefully I'll make some friends." Selina announced to everyone.
