Welcome To My Life
Aldor smiled as he heard Rose picking the juice box, sure, it wouldn't be the first thing that Aldor would choose but he decided that he might as well take the same as she did, for some reason he found it nostalgic.
Drinking apple juice out of juice boxes, it reminded him of his brother Connor, he recalls that whenever he spent time with Connor when they were younger the man always had juice boxes with him. It was almost like a strange addicition to that strong and chemically flavored beverage, even to this day, sometimes the letters that Connor sends to Aldor smell like apple juice, but it is probably because Connor is very clumsy and always ends up dropping some over his papers.
''Juice boxes it is then.''
Aldor stretched his arms to reach for the cabinet they were in, barely reaching the handle but managing it nonetheless, the boy didn't seem to grow any taller, he was somehow still shorter than Rose and most of the other students around him, it would stay like that for a while.
He placed the juice boxes on the table two for each, considering that nowdays these things seemed to have less and less liquid in them, he thought that it would be a good idea to take two.
''Here you go, feel free to take as much food as you'd like''
Aldor paused, tilting his head as got asked about the classes he would be taking when he finally began his third year in Hogwarts. He thought about this for a long time, even before Rose mentioned it. He had a very clear idea of what would be the best for him, care of magical creatures, but he also had a few other interests, they weren't that surprising either, but the fact that he had more options than the class that involved the one thing that Aldor loved the most could be a bit strange.
''Well- I think it's a bit obvious that care for magical creatures would be my choice but- I sort of find interesting the study of ancient runes. I know that most students wouldn't choose it because it seems far too boring but- I don't know I like experiencing new things and that seems interesting enough.''
He smiled at his friend, sitting close to her as he kept thinking about what he just said, he didn't really know what he would follow, he still had some time to think, but Rose didn't.
''What about you?''

Welcome To My Life
Rose took a juice box from Aldor as he handed it to her, smiling and murmuring a thank you. She remembered when she was little and other kids would have juice boxes in their lunchboxes. Other kids would drink juice and milk from their lunch boxes, and she wouldn't. She would have a small lunch with a reusable water bottle. As a kid, she never got the luxury of juice boxes, however small it may seem to an older person. Rose was jealous of those with juice boxes.
The redhead nodded, as he invited her to eat as much as she would like. "Okay." Once Aldor began eating, she would start eating the same thing. If he took a pork chop, she would, too. She wanted to try what he liked. But for now, she waited. Rose wasn't one with a big appetite. She couldn't eat a lot of food, on average, and especially compared to the normal growing pre-teen. Sometimes she just didn't want to eat, whether it was because she wasn't hungry, or if she was having a bad day. If she wasn't feeling good, her appetite seemed to disappear when she was upset. If she wanted, she could skip a meal no problem.
Rose listened as he told her he wanted to take care of magical creatures and ancient runes. A little spark of interest appeared in her eyes. "Yes, same! I plan to take Care of Magical Creatures and Ancient Runes next year. Care of Magical Creatures might be a little bit obvious for me as well, but I am interested in Ancient Runes. It's intriguing how they came to be, and I'm really interested to take it. I'm also taking Divination and..." she looked up at the ceiling, trying to recall what the last one was. "Oh! Muggle Studies. My dad was a muggle, and he died when I was little, so I want to learn about the world that he came from," she explained, taking a sip of her juice box. "As for Divination, I've heard a lot of mixed reviews. I wanna see for myself what it's all about, you know?" she asked. She supposed that was a pretty thorough explanation.

Welcome To My Life
(Sorry for the really late reply.)
Aldor listened with interest, not taking a single thing to his plate until he had finished listening to Rose. After a while he nodded in agreement when she mentioned Divination bot always having a positive review from some students.
" Well, yes, it's always good to try new things, you should definetely go for it and see if it's your thing. I'm sure you would do great."
He smiled softly as he began taking a few things to eat. But he couldn't get the thought off his head, divination, would that be his thing? He wasn't sure, at this rate, he could take any class and be satisfied with it.
Aldot just now realized Rose had mentioned her father was a muggle, he wasn't aware of that. But he thought it wasn't a good idea to ruin dinner by talking about something like that.
" I think I can take any class, maybe all of them, as long as long as the teacher is not as intimidating as professor Chiadovini."
He admitted with embarrassment. It was true, even though Aldor respected all professors for their hard work, he had a special fear of their beloved Astronomy professor. It probably involved the fact he got into trouble at his tower in his first year at Hogwarts, and ever since, Aldor has been one of the best in class, doing homework with all his strength trying not to provoke the man.
Even if in the end it wasn't as terrible as he first thought it qould be.
'' Might rather handle baby Mandrakes."
He shivered at the thought of the little horrible plant creature.

She smiled gratefully at his words. "Thank you. I'm sure I won't be awful at it. I intend to try my best." She didn't expect to be really good at Divination, but she supposed there wasn't really anything to loose by taking it, right?
The ginger didn't comment on her offhanded mention of her deceased father. She had almost expected him to ask her about that, though her comment had been casual. They hadn't really talked about her dad before. Maybe Aldor didn't want to talk about parents- his didn't really love him at all.
Aldor sheepishly admitted that he could probably do pretty well in any class, as long as they weren't as intimidating as Professor Chiadovini. The redhead suppressed an amused smile at his flustered words. Rose had to admit that their Astronomy professor at the time wasn't the most warm-hearted person she'd met. Even him walking around class put her on edge. He wasn't mean to her. He was just... scary. That's the only way she could describe it. She was sure he had good intentions, he just put her on edge.
He shivered, mentioning Mandrakes. Rose laughed a little. "Do you like Herbology?" she asked him. Rose had strangely been less good at Herbology in her first year, the subject always reminding her of her mom. But as she started trying, realizing that she was good at Herbology, She didn't know how to feel about that, since she didn't exactly like her mom all that much. She didn't want to end up like her.
