Paige was met by a gentle hug by her friends. She sat in the chair Taylor had made room for her to sit in, and smiled. "Okay! So..." then, she opened her bag and took out a handful of things. She plopped them into the table with a proud smile. "Yeah, I really need something to hold these." But it didn't matter, because it was so much supplies that were so usefully. She had all different types of string, All shades of a color, and then some. She had colors that also had a silver line twisting around the string. She had sparkly yarn. She had glitter scissors, glitter cans, glitter glue, normal glue, and her favorite markers and pencils she owned. She sat back. "Take whatever you, and how much you want."

She knew it was a lot, but she could always ask for more. She slid a lemon drop in front of her friend, Simon. She always kept those handy once she found out those were pretty much all he liked. But she kept other candies, too. She slid a mini chocolate her mom sent from home in front of Taylor. She gave both of her friends a smile. "And take these, too."

Grandfather gift making with @Taylor Haywood and @Paige Chase

"Energy," he said as he took the lemon drop and popped it into his mouth before looking over the craft and color choices that were laid out before him. He didn't know Taylor's grandfather but something told him that he should try to make a hufflepuff bookmark for him. "My aunt showed me one Summer how to make friendship bracelets a certain way but if I extend the amount of threads out, and don't tie it off, it should be a pretty good bookmark when finished.

She had white, black, yellow, a golden color. Yes, he could certainly do Hufflepuff colors. Now, would he be able to make it anything fancy or put a letter in it? No. That was okay though. Not everything had to be fancy to be wonderful. Simon preferred the simple things himself.

He affixed the one end so he could focus on his small knots as he tied them one at a time, repetitive in motion but not in color as he moved through each thread, then back to the start and over again. It was a motion of that of a typewriter, all the way across, down, and back across. Now and then some of the thread wouldn't lay as nicely as he would want it to and he had to move it a bit to get it back into place. This was something he wanted to take pride in.

Simon seemed to have taken the yellow and black colors so she figured he must be making a Hufflepuff one for her grandpa. She wanted to make one too but didn't quite know how to make a friendship bracelet so instead, she watched them make them for a little bit. She usually picked up on things pretty easily so she grabbed the yellow, blue, and white colors and made three bracelets. One for Simon, one for Paige, and one for herself.

She hope they would like the bracelets and let the friends finish what they were making before she showed them. "Close your eyes! Both of you." They had a puzzled look on their face and she grabbed Paiges wrist first and tied the bracelet onto her. Then she did the same to Simons. Ok! You can open your eyes now." she told them with a huge smile on her face. "I know they aren't the best but...we're matching now. You don't hafta wear them...I just thought it would be cute." She fidgeted with her own bracelet and looked up to see her friends smiling at her so she figured they like it. This was probably the best experience she had ever had.

I'm so so sorry for taking so long to respond. I've gone through a tough spot of writers block and lack of motivation but I'll try my best to reply faster from now on.

Talking with @Taylor Haywood and @Paige Chase

Simon would never turn down a gift. For anyone to think of him to either make or get himself something was special and he smiled to Taylor. Since it fit, he could tell that she must have made his longer than Paige's because surely Paige had a much smaller wrist than himself.

"The Three Amigos," he said and paused. "Or would the Three Musketeers be more fitting?"
And then he thought about it and there were lots and lots of references to the number three in all sorts of literature. Three Blind Mice, Three Little Kittens, Goldilocks and the Three Bears... The list grew on and on.

"Thank you, Tay," he said, grateful for the gift and grateful that Paige had come providing her equipment. "Oh, and you'll have to tell me if you get a reply back from your grandfather how he liked his gifts. He got the first ever official bookmark made by Simon E. Kincaid. That's pretty impressive," he smiled but looked down to it. Actually, it didn't look half bad for being his first! Would he make more? Try to sell them? Start a whole line of stationary and accessories to be sold at Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop in Hogsmeade? No. But very nice, none the less.
