Winter Memories
Hearing Logan's voice, Henry pushed the door open a bit as he entered the room and instantly his eyes filled with wonder and he looked around the room amazed. While Henry was amazed, he didn't know that his brother just had waved his wand over himself simply transforming his jean jacket into a blue collar shirt for the time being that was while Henry wore the blue sweater.
" Wow, your room is incredible robin! Really amazing and awesome," Henry said as he listened to Logan laughing a little before replying back " fitting name, does that make you Alice then and-" Henry gave Logan a mischievous smile before saying in a whisper " and the person your father's marrying the queen of hearts?" Henry then looked around at the glow of the lights and vines in her room before speaking again " I still think it looks like a gateway to Narnia, each door hiding behind it a room that could take you anyway. Is there a enchanted wardrobe in your room somewhere or is it in your dance studio or the attic?"
Henry laughed a bit before he would ask " do you mind if I put my clothes on your bed for the time being and during dinner?" Henry would then wait until he heard her answer and folded up his grey shirt then greenish jacket, remembering to take his wand out from hid jacket and place it in the back of his jean pockets before placing his grey shirt and jacket on top her bed in a neat little pile. Henry then took his wand from his jean pocket and tucked it away inside his jacket also before turning back to Logan.
Henry laughed a bit at her comment before replying " if your the mad hatter then where's your hat," he then watched as she took a book off the shelf before handing it to him as he smiled up at her before taking it and seeing it was Alice in wonderland, it was a old copy but it didn't bother Henry as he looked up at Logan before speaking " so you named your floor after your favorite book? Clever and why aren't you in ravenclaw robin?" Henry wanted to do the same with his own room and did back in godric hollow, remembering after his sister move into a different room he got to decorate it like a mix of Narnia and the headquarters of the xmen which was fun for him as a child but after moving to Liverpool and sharing a room with his twin again, he couldn't decorate nor name it.
Narnia was definitely one of Henry's favorites and knew almost everything in the book as he looked at Logan with a quizzical face before breaking it into laughter as he spoke " Similar? How so then?"

Logan laughed at the thought of an enchanted wardrobe leading to a secret room or another world. "I wish there was an enchanted wardrobe in this house. Then I would be able to get away from my brothers." She remembered all the times she would try and hide in different areas of the house to get away from them, only for them to find her soon after. They were extremely good at finding her when she hid. Looking up, she smiled at Henry when he asked if he could leave his other clothes on the bed.
"Yeah, sure," she said with a grin as she walked over to her desk on the far wall of the room. "I always wondered why I wasn't in Ravenclaw, my mother was a Ravenclaw and always thought I would be as well. Apparently my loyalty and hard work overpowers my wisdom and intelligence." The Hufflepuff could remember how often her mother would tell her she was smart enough to be in Ravenclaw, it brought back fond memories. Reaching down, Logan picked up a small picture frame off of the desk. It was a picture of a young her, dancing around her uncle's living room in a yellow dress. "My Hatter hat is in the closet. I will get it out later for you to see." She laughed as she thought about that strange hat she had gotten for Halloween a few years before.
She remembered the books of Narnia, she had only read them once or twice but she remembered the similarities. "You go through something to a magical land. You meet talking creature who help you along in your adventure where there is an evil woman who is attempting to take over the land. With the help of the magical creatures you are able to defeat the magical woman and allow the rightful ruler to take over again." She knew there were more than one Narnia book, but she honestly couldn't remember any but the first one. She could remember both of the Alice in Wonderland books almost word for word. The Hufflepuff looked up at Henry, a smile present on her face.

Henry laughed a bit at her reply before speaking himself " you would like the basement at my house then, the house isn't as big as the one in godric hollow but the basement is big and holds areas where you can hide out," Henry brushed a hand through his hair since he didn't like talking about the basement under his home mostly because it was mainly for when he transformed on full moon nights.
As their conversation turned to houses, Henry smiled a bit before replying " you would have been a great ravenclaw robin but you make a brilliant hufflepuff no doubt. As hardworking and kind you are," he laughed a bit as he smiled toward her and tried not to think about his own sorting. The hat's words still sometimes rang in his ears when his anxiety rose or when he thought of the houses.
Glad that the conversation was changed, Henry looked toward her closest as he spoke " you definitely need to show me that hat now robin," Henry turned back toward Logan with a smile as he listened to her compare the two book and thought for a bit before handing her back Alice in wonderland before beginning to speak " alright so they do have similarities but Narnia is about siblings and family, not to mention it shows that magic and adventure can be add anywhere at any moment really. While wonderland is about a girl who runs away from home and falls into a rabbit hole, which why is it a rabbit hole? Haven't you ever wonder about that Logan?"

"I bet I would like your house in general," Logan spoke softly as she set the picture frame back on the desk and looked up at Henry with a smile on her face. "Although I don't think your sister likes me too much." The Hufflepuff could tell from the moment she saw Annabeth that they were probably not going to get along too well, mostly with how she spoke to and treated Henry. Logan did not like that at all.
The brunette looked at Henry with a grin on her face as he spoke about what Narnia was really about. "Well I would rather fall down a rabbit hole than just have to walk through a wardrobe. Anyone can walk through a wardrobe, but it only takes the brave and adventurous to risk falling down a rabbit hole." Logan could just imagine how crazy she sounded with describing which was a better way of getting to one of the two mythical lands. Thinking about the story, Logan grinned with a glint in her eyes.
"When the day becomes the night and the sky becomes the sea, when the clock strikes heavy and there’s no time for tea; and in our darkest hour, before my final rhyme, she will come back home to Wonderland and turn back the hands of time." Logan quoted the line from Alice in Wonderland perfectly. It was something she could do quite often, as she loved the book so much. For someone who couldn't remember her spells for Charms, she could remember the most random quotes from her favorite books. Looking over at the clock on her desk she sighed and stood up straight.
"We should probably start heading down to the dining room," Logan muttered as she realized what time it was.

Glancing at what Logan was staring at, Henry tried not to look but couldn't help his curiosity as he peered behind her shoulder and saw the picture not longer before asking " is that you from when you were younger robin? You look pretty and brave almost," Henry smiled at her before brushing a hand through his hair when she spoke and watching her set down the picture also. Henry looked at again before looking at Logan and saying " my sister doesn't really like anyone so that normal but thanks, I'll think you like my home in godric hollow through! Well liked, since it's bigger and holds almost secret rooms compared to the one I live in now."
Henry laughed lightly a bit toward her when she which way that she would like to enter a fantasy land. Henry admitted she had a point but he wasn't going to not say his part as he spoke " alright so you'll jump into a rabbit hole to risk the chance of injury and getting trapped," Henry gave her what kind of looked like a wink before continuing with a laugh " but if jumping in a rabbit hole is considered brave then walking through a wardrobe can be considered intellect. Also it's not just a wardrobe, it different items throughout the book each almost acts as a key to Narnia," Henry smiled toward her then laughed a bit when she started quoting Alice and Wonderland.
" Nice memorlizong there Robin, " Henry spoke with a laugh before he kicked off his trainers and jumped on her bed. He then waved his arms as dramatically as he could and spoke dramatically, " some journeys take us far from home. Some adventures lead us to our destiny," Henry landed on her bed before falling to a seated position on Logan's bed and pulling his trainers back on.
He then got up from her bed and took a few more steps toward Logan when he heard her mention rejoining the others, Henry looked around for a clock but failed to find one when he spoke " yeah alright then, after you?"

Logan headed out her bedroom door and towards the stairs. She was trying to figure out how she would act towards her father once they got down to the first floor. Chances were her father was still in the family room anyways. "We are going to take the main stairs to the first floor," Logan told Henry as she started to make her way down the only flight of stairs that went to the third floor. It was a wonder her Grandfather built the place like that, but Logan could only assume it was because the third floor and attic were only ever used by the servants he had once had. Instead of going the whole way down the stairs, Logan started to make her way off the stairs on the second floor.
"So what do you think of my family so far," Logan asked as she started to walk backwards down the hall again. It was a wonder she didn't knock into anything as she put her arms out to keep her balance. The Hufflepuff could assume that her aunt had hugged them, as that was something she did to everyone she met. She wasn't surprised though, her aunt was a very social woman and attended many social events throughout the year. As they passed her brothers room, she thought she could hear one of them. She wouldn't be surprised though, as there wasn't much to do on the first floor when the family room was being used. Her brothers seemed to take after their aunt quite a bit, loving to talk and meet new people. Logan was more like their parents, quite and only attending events when it was required.
By this time Logan had made it to the top of the main flight of stairs, leading to the front of the house. Logan was rather quiet at this moment, but she honestly couldn't think of much to talk about. Talking was something she didn't do often unless around Henry, and the act she was putting on to impress his family was starting to crumble. She had only met his sister so far, and she seemed to not like Logan too much. Thoughts flew through Logan's head of whether the rest of his family was going to like her or not. If they didn't like her, would Henry even be allowed to hang out with her anymore? She only sighed as she turned around and slowly started to make her way down the stairs.

Henry would follow Logan throughout the house and what he thought would be the living room or kitchen as he listened to her talk about using the main stairs which allowed Henry to say " okay so after dinner your definitely giving me a tour of your house robin," he looked those the laughed a bit as he walked down the stairs still following her down them before he would follow her along what he thought was the second floor hall then up this tjme on another set of stairs when he heard Logan speak again.
" Your family is cool, I mean your aunt definitely seems social and friendly and all. She hugged me and my siblings when we first came in so yeah,"Henry spoke as he followed her down the hall but figured she already knew about the hugging and couldn't help but chuckled a bit when he watched her start to walk backwards as he continued " your brother's seen fun and sweet as well, they sort of seem like the seen person or best friends at least which seems nice," Henry knew people thought that twins were like best friends or really close but he never been that close with his own twin and in coming months he felt like they only drifted a part more.
" Your father seems nice but I can't tell to be honest, I think my father likes him through. The first thing he did was ask him about work and I won't be surprised if their still talking about ministry business because of my father," Henry laughed a bit with a roll of his eyes before continuing " besides from Anna, after dinner you have to tell me what you of my family now."
Henry smiled toward her as their conversation fell to silence, he never did talk much and from that he talked more when he was around Logan but normally he didn't talk at all which he didn't mind really walking in silence with her.
Henry followed her to the stairs before walking next to her and following her throughout the house before following her down the stairs as he hoped nothing bad would happened that day.

Logan smiled a bit at the mention of her aunt hugging the three Knight children. "Aunt Hannah would hug a dragon if she got the chance to," she told Henry as she got to the bottom of the stairs at the first floor. She looked towards her right, which lead to the dining room and kitchen, where she could hear her aunt saying something. It was too quiet for anyone else to be in the kitchen, so she turned left instead heading down the hall to the family room instead. The cream walls were bare of any decorations, making the bottom floor seem rather lonely, one of the reason Logan had decorated her floor so much.
At the end of the hall was a set of dark oak wooden doors, one closed while the other was slightly ajar. Logan looked over at Henry with a small smile on her face as she knocked on the door before entering. "Papa?" she questioned as she looked into the room. She could see her father sitting in one of the arm chairs, only to stand at the sound of his daughters voice. One wall of the room was lined with windows, another sat a large fireplace with stockings hanging above it. In the corner near the fireplace sat a tall Christmas tree, covered in Ornaments and surrounded by different presents, including the ones brought by Henry's family.
"There you are Logan." He said standing up, as Logan made her way into the room. She wrapped her arms around him in bit of a hug before looking up at her father.
"Sorry papa, I needed to get out of the house for a bit and I wanted to take Polaris out for a ride today since we won't be here tomorrow." Logan's eyes were doe like, making her seem as innocent as possible. This was only partially an act. She wanted to make a good impression, but she also felt bad about making her father worry. Something she did quite often with and without meaning to. Turning slightly Logan smiled gently at Henry's father.
"It is nice to meet you Mr. Alluring, Henry has spoken quite highly of you," Logan curtsied slightly to the other man in the room as she looked at Henry, her eyes slightly wide in worry and fear. She was nervous about how the other man would react to her, and she wanted to make a good impression.

" really? I'll hug a dragon to if I ever met one," Henry joked toward Logan with a smile. He knew that she knew of his love of creatures and animals so he was just as crazy enough to touch a dragon to if be ever got the chance.
Henry followed her down the stairs and looked toward the kitchen when he heard his brother voice along with what he thought was her aunt which he lightly laughed to before following her along the hall.
Stopping at a pair of large dark oak wooden doors, Henry watched Logan knock and speak to what he assumed was their father. Watching Lohan enter the room, he followed to which he saw her father rise from his chair and speak to Logan whom went over to him and gave him a hug again speaking to him.
Henry felt awkward and like he was interrupting a private moment between the two as he stood by the door and gave a polite smile toward her father but not saying anything as he watched his own father rise from the seat across from him and straighten out his suit again before saying " well it was nice talking to you, Adam and I look forward to continuing our conversation after dinner. Right now, I'll leave you with you daughter."
Henry then looked toward Logan when she addressed his father and even did a small curtsey toward him. Henry hoped that he would like her and not question what she said as he almost held his breath as he listened to his father speak " Yes my son spoke about you quite a lot, it's a pleasure to meet you as well," Henry let out a breath however when she mentioned that Henry spoke about his father his anxiety grew as his spoke " has he now," he then saw his father turned to stare at him before saying " anyway didn't you say dinner was nearly ready Adam? Shouldn't we make our way toward the dining table?"

At the mention of dinner, Adam released his daughter and slightly shoved her away from him. He dusted of his suit as he cleared his throat slightly. "Oh yes, dinner. Please follow me." He quickly made his way towards the door, not even glancing back at his daughter as he left.
Slightly dejected, Logan let her head drop, allowing her long hair to hide her face from view as her father left the room. This was something Logan should have been used to by now, but it always got to her when he shoved her away. At this point, Logan's anxiety had increased ten fold, causing her hands to shake slightly. Taking a deep breath, she looked up at Henry with a forced smile on her face. "Did I do something wrong?" Logan questioned as she looked at her best friend with wide eyes.
From the family room, she could hear the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs indicating someone had gone and gotten her brothers. She didn't really care if they were the last ones to dinner, they wouldn't eat without them anyways. That was something Logan had always liked about her family, when everyone was home, no one was allowed to eat dinner until everyone was seated at the table. Today was going to be no different.
