General Jensen!
With this being a time of appreciation, I could think of no one better to show my deep deep appreciation to other than my favorite general. In fact! I wanted to make sure that you really felt as appreciated as possible. So remember those pictures of you I took where you were bravely climbing on desks and chairs to avoid the lava in our great mission to save the school? Well, I know you were a bit embarrassed by those but I also know that they really inspire others and would be a perfect way to gain new loyal recruits!
The Major and I spent much of the day handing out flyers with those pictures on them to show everyone in the school your bravery! They seemed super well received and we are hopeful that it will bring in a slew of recruits! Each time we handed one out, the potential cadet erupted in excited laughter. We thought that was a good sign. They were so excited to join the effort that they couldn’t hold back their excitement and it is all thanks to you General! We even started posting them outside of the classrooms just in case we missed anyone. We thought it was important that absolutely everyone saw how brave you were!
You have always been there for us and shown us true bravery to follow. I truly hope that when I am as old as you that I am ever remotely as impressive as you are. Even as just a young Lt. I know that you are something special and I will do all that I can to emulate what you accomplish. Each time I need saving it seems that you are right there ready to spring in like some sort of crazy wild tuna! Passing out those flyers of you climbing on the desks made me feel like I was really helping out the cause. I don’t know who could see that and not be ready to jump into the fight.
Despite being a General, your continued warmth and kindness to us lower officers and common soldiers means the world to us. Around you we only ever feel inspired to copy and learn from you in all that you do. Despite being a cunning serpent we all can see the deep loyalty and kindness that rests in your heart. It is a badger-like spirit that we can all rally behind, no doubt your continued relations with the Admiral must be contributing to this. But everything you do continues to make us feel appreciated and there are many smiling faces around Hogwarts who are equally brightened by everything you do for us.
Thank you so much for everything you do for us General. It is such an incredible honor to be under your command and I know that you and the Admiral will lead us to victory soon! This little Lieutenant will remain your deepest admirer and I am always ready if you need some back up out there!
Lieutenant Reid

Fourth Letter
Saturday, Nov 7th 2020
Cash had just been emerged from a place that only their kind know where it is Chamber of Secret. Holding their journal in their left hand and their writing equipments in their black sweatpants pockets. Since winter will approach Scotland Highland, the green eyes wear a black crown shape beanie on top of their head and their house pride sweater that their mother knitted and sent some time ago.
They run up towards where Slytherin dorm located and hurriedly grabbed one of their empty parchment. The green eyes then climbed up the many stairs of the castle have and approached the classroom that they did for the couple past days between classes and free periods. Cash entered the room and straight away took one of the unoccupied chair.
The second year then took out their writing equipments from their pocket and thankfully all of their writing equipments stay in tact. Un-scroll their fresh parchment, dip their quill into the black ink and start writing their fourth letter.
Cash re-read their letter again and in their own opinion was decent enough. And so they fold it into the black envelope, sealed it with their initial on the back of the envelope and walked up to where the fourth year situated himself. "Four down, one to go"They said as they put down the letter on the table. Cash throw a warm smile to Alan and turned around.[font=Monotype Corsiva]Dear Professor Kibitzer,
I do not think that you know me but we met last year. I was one of the participant for your Relay Race last year with Lizzie Verdine and Mars T'ien. The three of us had fun with your relay. Your relay definitely challenge us as many of us are witches and wizard who from day to day use magic in their daily life.
Your relay challenge us in a good way. If you have an errand like that in the future, can I help you around? Maybe like spread the news around the castle or be your assistant. This letter as a thank you and as an apology too. Thank you for making my last year colorful. You and alongside your colleague definite challenge us both creatively and physically.
Why I say this as an apology too? I know I have not done you wrong but Henry Knight did. He is my best mate and I am kind of feel responsible to apologize to you on behalf of him. I know he said something hurtful back in the Field Day event and maybe annoyed you and your colleague but it does not justify his action.
If whatever he said hurt you in any form and way, I want to apologize to you. And I do not think that Divination is faulty. In fact, I think it kind wicked that you teach that subject. Oh! I heard from the grapevine that milling around the castle, it is said that you can predict the future? If you can teach me more that what you teach in Divination, I will forever be grateful to you or maybe this is a talent thing?
Either way I can not wait to get to know you more and attend Divination next year.
Stay wicked, Prof!
Best Regards,
Phoenix Cassandra Ironwoods

Dear professor Jemari,
I'm Rohan, the keeper of the Ravenclaw team, and I would like to thank you for all the great flying lessons. I want to start by saying that I think you are a good flyer and you are excellent in teaching us, the always not-too-good-listening students.
My first lesson ever, not too long ago (just a few months), was really exciting. I was also a little terrified because I had seen people fall of their brooms and getting hurt quite badly, but luckily you told us all how to fly properly, without hitting trees.
What I also really enjoyed, were the lessons about how broomsticks developed through the ages. One of my ancestors once made their own broom, but that wasn't a succes. I am planning to maybe, if when I graduate, make brooms myself. My dream is to become either a star Quidditch player (preferrably in the Appleby Arrows team) or craft and sell brooms.
I really want to say that I appreciate your effort put into lessons, and you're also quite good at keeping the class quiet. You're also the one who made me feel confident enough to apply for the Quidditch team, in which I now happily fly!
Thanks a lot,
Rohan Fog (1st year, Ravenclaw)

Addressed to @Hjørdis Jensen.
Dear Professor Jensen,
Hi. I'm not entirely sure if you remember me, but I'm Juniper Yu, first year. I came to your office because I felt homesick my friend felt homesick and needed advice. I really appreciate what you said to me - it helped my friend a lot and I'm happy to report that they're doing better. I hope your friend will be ok too... maybe they should heed your advice as well.
Thank you for being such an amazing head of house! My old school in London has a houses system too, but unless students have had family members in one particular house, they'll be sorted randomly. Plus, the HoH's are nowhere as nice as they are here. Mine was quite nasty, honestly, so it was a bit of a relief to find out that everyone here is so lovely, especially you. Your presence has helped me feel more welcome not only in Slytherin House, but in Hogwarts.
I think it's important for you to know that a lot of people view you as a mother figure, especially those in Slytherin. Although I've only been here two months, I already look up to you a lot and admire you. Thank you for being such a great role model for us. Great role models can be hard to find.
This sounds very much like a Christmas card, doesn't it? It certainly feels that way. Only it's November and I actually mean the words I'm saying - or rather, writing. I hope this letter makes you smile! Once again, for the ten millionth time in this letter, thank you so much for doing what you do. You make Hogwarts a better place.
Sincerely,
Juniper A. Yu

Addressed to @Cypresse Lian.
Dear Professor Lian,
I'd like to thank you for being such an incredible professor and having such an interesting class! Transfiguration is one of my favourite subjects, partly because of how it relates to science. I attended an ordinary Muggle school before Hogwarts and science was always my favourite, so it's a little easier for me to understand. Not only that, I also feel delighted every time I hear something I recognise during your classes. Transfiguration can be hard, but you make it so much fun, and it's become the highlight of my day.
You're a really great teacher. You're funny and interesting to listen to, and super sharp and quick witted, which is something I really admire. I almost never get bored during your classes, and I love how Transfiguration is both fun and informative at the same time. It's hard to process how complicated it can be sometimes, and just thinking about how it all works used to hurt my brain, but with your teaching I'm starting to understand it properly now.
I couldn't imagine Transfig being taught by anyone else. I really appreciate all that you do for us students and I hope you stay on as professor for a long, long time. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Juniper A. Yu

Dear Headmaster Lear,
There are not enough words that would truly express my feelings of gratitude. In the past three and a half one-third years, you have continued to be a symbol of strength here. I must admit that I had my doubts at one point but seeing you now, I am glad that I was wrong. I imagine that you are probably far too busy to even read this, it cannot be very easy managing an entire school of chaos. However, if you are reading this, I just wanted to tell you that I think you are doing a great job and I will never ever forget the things that you taught me, even before you were the headmaster.
I was one of the very lucky few that got to know you as a head of house before. To this day, I recall the words that you said to me in my first year. It is kind of funny actually. I never thought I would be here now or realise how important those words were, but now that I am, I can truly say that they are life-saving and life-changing.
You are - and probably always will be - one of the greatest headmasters of Hogwarts. Of course, I only really knew a couple. But still! I am sure in a hundred years, people will speak about how you were the best and even better than headmasters of the past or the founders!
Though, have you ever considered getting armour created in a variety of metals? You could have a steel coloured one to change it up! Additionally - can I exchange my uniform for armour? It seems so useful. Did you know that apparently half of my blood comes from people who are meant to be good at metalwork or making metals or something? I can't remember what it's called. But I found out that they are meant to be good at making things with metal, like coins, which is why some will work in Gringotts I guess. That's kind of cool, isn't it? I thought you might like that! I mean, I personally don't know how to make anything with metal but I think it's very cool. Hopefully, one day, I can learn! I was thinking of trying to make like that wire jewellery or something though? I did that once and it was kind of fun. It was not the best but it was my first trial!
Anyway, I have probably taken up enough of your time. I just wanted to say, thank you for everything. I owe more to you than I can probably express. I actually thought you might have forgotten who I was since we haven't really spoken in some time and you probably have thousands of other names to remember so, it was really nice to see you at the Halloween ball last month.
Lots of love,
Serena J. Towers

Dear Professor Browne,
It is perhaps a bit too early for Christmas and getting all sentimental and festive. But there's never really a wrong time to tell someone they are great and how much you appriciate appreciate them. Or dance. If there are two things I have learned from you it is there is never a bad time to show kindness or to dance.
Have you considered holding dance classes? I think we could benefit from having more dance taught in our extra curric those extra activities, like "Professor Browne's Dance Class" or a club rather I guess. That would be cool. Though, that might take up a lot of time I guess and probably not already within your work schedule. Maybe it could be a one-time event for fun if you get the chance? Anyway, either way, I really enjoyed dancing in the Great Hall last year. That was fun! Something like that could work too!
But more than that, there's a lot of amazing things you do. Your general presence is really encouraging. I am surprised that you recalled my birthday some months ago but the gift that you gave me is something I treasure dearly, keeping it with me anytime it gets dark. Thank you so much for it. It serves as a very good reminder about the words that you wrote with it. I don't know if I have lived up to them but I will continue to do so to the best of my abilities.
I guess, I should also apologise for quitting Quidditch. I am really pleased to see that the Hufflepuff team are doing well without me - the new seeker is excellent! I am so proud of how well they are doing! But I guess I might have let you down a little when I quit. Don't worry though, Hufflepuff will continue to win. I will be cheering with all of my might at every game, without a doubt. I suppose I should also apologise for getting angry at the Durmstrang visitors too... But they deserved it. I will stand by that, regardless of what happens.
Wow, alright, I just reread this letter so far and it's really not a very good thank you letter. Let me try this again.
Thank you for looking after us, even though we seem to like getting into trouble when you are not around. I owe you a lot, that is for sure. But more than that, I think that your presence is very calming. It is like a feeling of warmth or comfort if that makes sense? Just knowing that we have you as our head of house makes me happy as I know that we can rely on you. You have taught me a lot about just being yourself, which is pretty cool, I think. So what I am trying to say here is thank you.
Lots of love,
Serena J. Towers
One of your Fourth Year Badgers and a proud member of the Badger Army
P.S. Do you prefer to be addressed as 'Professor Browne' or 'Head of House Browne'? I never really know what to title you as so... if you do have a preference, please let me know!

Dear Professor Miss Professor Librarian Professor Finley,
I know we have not really spoken much before, however, I wanted to reach out to you to thank you for all of the hard work that you do in stocking the library with a lot of interesting books. It has become obvious to me that I perhaps do not spend enough time in the library, or reading really. But it is very useful to have a range of books to read at all times.
I realise that I am now in my fourth year and have yet to introduce myself or have yet to actually meet you properly in these years, so I apologise for that. But I guess I simply just don't visit the library very often and have not really seen you around outside. Well, I have recently I guess but not really in the years before then. I'm Serena Towers, a fourth year Hufflepuff and proud! You will likely see me around a bit more as I am currently on the adventure of researching a topic very important to me.
Professor Zahid was most helpful when I spoke to him not too long ago but I also found that the library actually has an ample amount of knowledge or reading material too, that I could use. Though, I suppose I should ask for some help in locating specific books but right now, I do not really have any specifics in mind. I am currently just doing general research on the topic.
Anyway, I guess I would just like to say that you are obviously very knowledgable on the matters of books so perhaps I will come to bother you some time, if that is alright with you? I am not quite sure how to find anything in the library. Is it organised by alphabet or category or something else? Is there a giant index or something I can use? I really just need to search up something but do not know where to even begin!
So, I guess, the long story short of this really is that I just wanted to say that thank you for imparting so much wisdom on us students and for helping us to expand our understanding and knowledge of the world around us. Also - if students are in classes all day, does the library get really quiet during the day time? Do you have to restock the shelves or ordering more books or something during the day or can you actually spend the day reading? I guess that might be fun.
Lots of love,
Serena J. Towers
A Studious Hufflepuff
P.S. Is the library open all day or at certain times only? Is it open on the weekends? Does it close early?

Fifth Letter
Sunday, Nov 8th 2020
Today is Sunday, the green eyes rather spend their lazy day in the safety and warm of their bed in their dorm but the promise of getting five chocolate frogs as a reward for completing the Professor Appreciation Assemble draw their attention. And so, Cash change into something warm and grabbed their writing equipments.
After checking they are presentable enough, they walked out from their dorm. The purple haired passed Slytherin Common Room and start climbing up the stairs. When they landed on the third floor, they are out of breath. The flight from where Slytherin house located to where they want to go was a long trek up. They are fine with climbing down the many flights of stairs but not going up.
The green eyes open the door of the classroom. The classroom kind of a bit barren since it is weekend and not so many students willing to sacrifice their free time after a hard and long time of studios days. Cash walked to the middle row and pull out the chair. They sat down on it, set their writing equipments on the table and un-scrolled their parchment.
Cash tapped on the wooden table, hoping some inspiration to come at them. Just like the last time they were here, Cash a bit confused for whom their last letter to be address to. Their green eyes glances to some students that are in the room with their head down, concentration on their faces. The beater sighed when no other name popped up in their mind.
They about to scrolled their parchment again but when their eyes saw Alan, some name popped in their mind. Cash dipped their quill into the blue ink and start writing their last letter for the errand.
Cash look down at the new and last letter they wrote for the Professor Appreciation Assemble. They did not realize there some blue smudge that smeared on their hand but thankfully the parchment was clean. Cash re-read again their letter and when they think it is decent enough to be sent to the recipient, Cash fold the letter, slide it inside to the black envelop and embellished it with their own personal wax.[font=Monotype Corsiva]Dear River Professor Jemari,
Coming to this school and replaced Professor Bercegeay as a Flying Professor is a big shoes to fill but you done it with ease. I enjoyed how the way you teach Flying. When Professor Bercegeay filled with stories of how she became famous and succeed because she was one of the player for Holyhead Harpies, I know for sure I want to be just like her one day.
I am the type of person that always dive head first which is not safe when it come to flying. You told us the safety of how to ride a broom, how to trim it and care for our broom. Though I am a Beater for my house it is a shame that I still do not have my own broom and you kind enough to lent the school broom when Quidditch season rolled around, for that I want to thank you.
Speaking of Quidditch, thank you that you spare your time to be a referee for one of our matches and you being fair at the game which is an important thing to do. You know when I thought about flying is how I picture freedom. The wind breeze your hair and you fly up high. Forget about all the problems that all of us have in each and every life of us.
The way you teach Flying also always keep me interest in it. Then you surprise me back when I was a first year about the spell. I thought flying just that, flying but no there a spell that you taught me. I am sure it will come handy one day and hoping in the near future I will be a professional Quidditch player and you will be proud at one of your many students accomplishment.
To close this letter thank you for what you had have taught me, for more to come and for what you done for this school.
P.S : If Professor Bercegeay still around, I bet both of you will click right from the start![]()
Keeping being you, Prof!
Best Regards,
Phoenix Cassandra Ironwoods
The beater walked up to where Alan seated. "All done"Cash informed the fourth year and put their letter in the pile. "Thank you for doing this. I had fun"The serpent smiled to the older lion. Cash nodded their head as a sign of acknowledgement of Alan's patience and appreciation for himself. They turned around, collected their equipments and walked out from the room.
