Cade yawned feeling exhausted from the trip but was jolted from his heavy eyelids when the train came a sudden stop. He looked out the window to see Hogsmede station and prefects already out on the platform assisting students. Cade got to his feet and stuffed the rest of his sweets in the pockets of his school robes. Looking about the room he wondered if he was supposed to take his luggage, but it looked like students were leaving theirs behind. Cade decided to follow suit.

"Nice meeting you all," Cade said a little absently. He felt bad because he knew once he was sorted he might forget their names. With all this excitement it was bound to happen.

Cade left the compartment and joined the queue to the nearest train exit. All around him students of all ages were talking excitedly to their new and old friends. Cade hoped he'd make friends in whatever house he would be sorted into. He hoped that wherever he'd end up, he'd feel comfortable. Leaving the train, he breathed in the crisp night air of the Scottish highlands. It was so different from the constricting air of London. Cade knew then that this place might change him forever. And he was pleased with that thought.
