Delilah was excited about the Blossom Fest, for it being Scotland it was a pretty nice day too. Delilah looked around at the different tables with Serena, who she had so kindly dragged out of the hospital wing for this, there weren't too many tables at the moment so they went for the flower crowns. She didn't know whether it was a good thing that she had bring Serena along or not, she had been really hurt at the infamous campout but she still wanted her friend to have fun. They girls sat down at the table, Serena in between Dellilah and Bloom. They watched as the scissors flew overhead and Delilah grabbed a pair, not trusting herself to use the spell, plus she was a first year and they were told not to use the spell. She turned to Serena when she was asked a question, "I really don't know, maybe some of the white ones." She thought, she grabbed a thick piece of wire and shaped it so it would fit on her head, them grabbed some of the white and blue flowers.

She twisted the wires connecting to the flowers quite tightly around the main piece so that you can't see the wires, making sure that the sharp end bits weren't going to jab into her head when she wore it. There were some lilies and tulips and one pale daffodil at the side, the light yellow pairing with the blue and white quite nicely, the lilies were quite small so that they wouldn't look ginourmous on the young children's heads, but there were bigger ones for the older students and professors.

Eventually Delilah was finished and she placed the crown on her head, she thought it looked quite nice,va blue and white pattern with the one pale daffodil on the side. She looked over at Serena, "Yeah I'm done too, yours is really nice, I hope the flowers don't dry out, that wouldn't be too good." Delilah looked over at where the gathering of professors were and saw that there was quite a few. Before she took her crown off and placed it in the pile with everybody else's.

Riven was strolling the grounds, staring down at her phone. Quince had been in a chatty mood all day, but a bunch of Riven's classmates had been talking about a "BlossomFest". When Riven told Quince about it, she said she should go. So here was Riven, in the middle of this Festival, on her phone. A group of students giggled and shoved past Riven. She looked up briefly to see what the fuss was about. Her face lit up as she saw a sign that read "Flower Crown Making". The station was filled to the brim, but someone left a spot open. A spot that Riven quickly filled. She already knew how to make flower crowns. She and Quince had gone to a fair where they made tons of flower crowns to sell. There was an assortment of different flowers on the table. After bending a wire, she plucked a Morning Glory from the table and set it in the middle of the crown. Carefully, she weaved some grass onto the wire as well. She added a few Plumeria flowers, as to not let the crown be too bare. She grabbed her phone, which she had left in her pocket, and took a picture. After sending it to Quince, Riven decided to put her phone down for a few minutes and walk around.

I'm always up to chat! <3

The light-haired woman's senses were sharp, and so when she noticed a movement from the corner of her eye, she snapped her head to the side to look at who it was. She recognized the woman from an evening during one of the feasts. She had dark, curly hair, and her face held a natural look that reminded Leonie of a hippie. Looking the woman up and down, she only really considered her presence for a few moments before she went back to looking at the table, which was now almost void of flowers.

The first years were the only students surrounding the table, and it made sense. She was sure that the other students found "flower crowns" a waste of time as well. A grimace settled over Leonie's face as the woman began to speak. It was then that Leonie realized this was probably her event. She was the Herbology professor, with Leonie's best guess.

"Not one for flower crowns, are you?" The other woman asked, causing the older of the two to glance at her out of the corner of her good eye. Despite having a glass eye on the other side, she was still half-blind. She wished glass eyes worked that way, but she really didn't want to end up looking like Mad-Eye Moody or something. She much preferred this way of things.

"No, I'm not." The German stated, clearly, bluntly, and definitely sharply. Her legs willed her to walk away, but the rest of her was not going to move anytime soon. "I suppose this is your doing though. This event." She motioned to the table, still crowded with first years. It seemed as though the meaning of 'fun' was foreign to her. It had been a long time since she was in the childerns' shoes. The seriousness of being an Unspeakable in the Ministry had hardened her to the core. Maybe it was because of how seriously she had taken the situation, or it could have been the endless training she had gone through. It constantly disappointed her that one little accident had impaired her for life.

A sullen look crossed over Leonie. Wasn't magic supposed to fix everything? She looked over to the children, noting how one of them was calling over the woman that now stood next to her. "Looks like you have responsibilities to take care of. I'll leave you to it." She said before turning on her heel and taking off in the direction of the rest of the festivities.

Perhaps she would encounter Sorrel another time, but definitely not anytime soon. The next thing she would be doing is retiring to her office for grading, then sleep for fourteen days. Not literally, but she definitely wished to do so. Perhaps then, the BlossomFest would be at least half over.

Siege wasn't one for this. Flower making? Definitely not for him, but he was feeling pretty bored, so why not? It seemed okay, I mean sure it wasn't his cup of tea, but it was something he could maybe just go to, to at least get some kind of kick out of it. He moved with lazy ease from the Library to the grounds, his slow steps echoing through the halls, which soon turned soft footfalls on the wet grass of the grounds. He wore the usual, a wrinkly white polo shirt that looks like it was worn both today and yesterday, his black dress pants weren't in the best conditions themselves, in all he looked less of a regal wizard, but more and more of a delinquent muggle, which was not surprising at all, considering he grew up around muggles and spent a good amount of time fighting his fellow peers.

Upon arriving he saw the gathering of people, some professors, some students, all were seeming to have their own fun. It all seemed to have been finished, students were beginning to depart as he just got there. What was he doing here again? Did these flowers look interesting at all? I mean they definitely didn't inspire him or do anything to him and to be honest, to him, they all looked the same. They all looked the same until he set his own eyes upon another flower, hmm...It's been since maybe a few nights? Yesterday? Since he last saw her, but he definitely didn't expect to see her here. She was still hurt wasn't she? I mean He hoped she wasn't pushing herself, though now finding coming down here to be quite the worth venture.

Serena held a yellow crown in her hands, a crown that looked pretty ordinary, though Siege wasn't really quite the straight thinker when it came to her. He approached her with the same confidence he usually would have, though lazy-confidence would be a better description for his approach, given his lazy stare, which might even be considered as a flirty stare should he just smile or smirk for a bit.

"What's up Serena? Out so soon? Doubt the nurse dismissed you already, you breaking rules?" Siege would playfully say, although he was a bit curious as to how she got here. He adjusted easily, a piece of paper in his pocket was a bit uncomfortable, a piece of paper he'd rather have no one find out about, nor would he like to himself. His curiosity was just too much...Just a good thing that Serena was keeping his mind distracted. "Are you fine though? Shouldn't you be going back to the Hospital Wing? I'll take you back if you want."

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Tread carefully.

Serena smiled softly as she looked over to see Delilah's flower crown, "Ooh, that's pretty!" She claimed with a firm nod of her head. Looking at her own crown, she was unsure of the outcome of it. There were a lot of others that she deemed to be nicer than hers. However, her own wasn't the worst thing she saw. It would do. Her current lack of self-esteem was surfacing. She sighed softly as she lowered the crown, dropping it on the table.

The Hufflepuff looked around and admired everyone else's crown. Now they were all beautiful. Glancing to the professors, she blinked as she listened to their interaction. It was interesting, to say the least. There was a combination of banter and... flirting? The young girl blinked, listening to them all. A professor that she did not recognise came along. Perhaps the teacher of one of the electives she had heard they were going to study in the later years. Right now, she did not have that professor for anything. She said something to Professor Cazarez about sporting women. Serena did not understand the exact meaning of the words but it caught her attention nonetheless. It sounded kind of amusing. She was just curious now as to what she meant.

In all honesty, she could not help but wonder how their teacher meetings went. They seemed like they would be entertaining, to say the least. Serena laughed softly, picturing the professors having a meeting and just ending up teasing each other instead. Everyone seemed like they were having a good time... That was nice... Serena looked over her shoulder, gazing out towards the lake and sighed softly. She tensed a little, as the sinking feeling of guilt and failure washed over her.

Hearing her name, she turned her head to see Siege had appeared beside her. A smile appeared on her face as she heard his playful words. If nothing else, he always seemed to be able to amuse her when she was starting to think sad thoughts. "Oh well, you'd know all about breaking rules, wouldn't you?" She teased playfully, rolling her eyes and smiling, "Just accompanying Delilah here to make this terrible thing," She continued indicating to her friend first before picking up the flower crown and showing him it.

Nodding, "I'm fine," She insisted, "I think you missed the session though, it's pretty much over..." She continued looking back to see most people were leaving now. "Here, you can have mine!" Serena exclaimed with a cheeky smile on her face as she quickly stood up, placing her flower crown onto his head - which is what she learnt from Professor Sebastian. He did the same thing so she should too, right? Ah kids these days, picking up things so quickly. The professor was just trying to friend Professor Sorrel, after all. So friends should do that. So Serena placed hers onto Siege's head, as he did not have his own one.

Unfortunately, it was kind of amusing seeing a boy who bragged about being a delinquent being adorned with a flower crown. It was certainly not a sight she expected to see - and would probably destroy whatever bad boy reputation he was trying to work here. Serena burst into laughter, unable to control herself.

The laughter was too much for her, however. She started coughing as a result. Using one of her hands, she covered her mouth. It was a dry cough but it was persistent. Each cough shook her chest, making it hurt a little.

Frowning a little, Serena rubbed her chest a little with the other hand. She managed to stop coughing but her chest still hurt a bit. Wincing, she decided it was best to return now. Perhaps she had spent too much time outside or something. "Mhm, maybe not..." She muttered, slightly irritated by the whole thing.

"I- I think I should take you up on that offer... I should probably get back, yeah..." She said some byes to whoever remained before heading back to the hospital wing with Siege, with a frown on her face. Serena held her chest as she walked, trying to remove the pain that she felt.
