So sorry for the wait I never say Alexa's post, again so sorry
After he separated from the group hug and heard Alina's request that they no longer moped or felt sorry for her, he nodded even through he was pretty, more like absolutely sure he wasn't about to complain about his own problems or worries. Not that he barely knew the two, more like he never really told other's about his feelings or worries so he still felt rather weird about it probably why he kept his emotions hidden and all from others. Well mostly others since he did reveal them to his older brother besides from him he mostly kept himself hidden, well his emotions and problems hidden from the world around him.
When Alina mentioned heading to the apothecary shop then to Weasley's wizard wheezes, Henry nodded as he laughed a bit " that's funny, that's actually my twins favorite shop," at the thought of his siblings he started to wonder where they were but not a lot since meeting Alina and Alexa and walking around diagon alley was a welcoming experience for him. As he went over to the apothecary shop with the two and for the most part didn't look at anything but when they went into the joke shop. Henry couldn't help but look over at the chess sets, he longed to have one but controlled himself knowing he couldn't afford one instead he stayed with the two girls.

Alexa watched as Alina picked up some quills as well as a bottle of yellowish potion. Vaguely wondering what that was for, she continued through the shop, checking out trick wands and hats. They made her giggle, looking in the mirror and seeing herself headless while wearing one of the hats, but it was too expensive. Just the necessities for her. This was just quality window-shopping, she thought with an internal laugh.
She looked around the shop for Henry and saw him looking over some wizard chess sets. She had seen older students playing with the strange, but frankly awesome, live pieces in her common room at Hogwarts. She knew how to play Muggle chess, but from what she understood, the rules were the same in wizard chess. It was only that the pieces were animated.
She walked over and joined Henry, looking down at the gorgeous sets. What she wouldn't give to have one of these… But again, just the necessities, she reminded herself. She could always save up for this! She turned to Henry. "Do you play chess, Henry? I've never played wizard chess, but I know the rules. Someday I'd love to give a set of my own." She added, looking back down at the handsome boards and pieces.

Henry stared at the chess sets, they seemed so elegant and decorated it amazed the boy as he picked up a piece ran his fingers over the smooth wood of the piece. He always dreamed of owning his own set and playing against his friends, wizard chess was something he would read, learn, and even strategize about when he was younger and even still now sometimes.
However Henry wasn't suspecting Alexa to come up but a part of him was glad that she did as he smiled toward her before saying " sometimes yeah, my brother has a old set and we sometimes play against each other. I'm hoping to get my own set to someday even through I may just end up with my brother's," Henry smiled toward her before looking back at the cress sets again one last time before looking at Alexa and saying " maybe we can play at Hogwarts sometime then? If you want to of course."
Henry smiled a bit at Alexa when we saw two figured outside the shop, he recognized them as his siblings. His older brother; Arthur was carrying a stack if books and his twin sister; Annabeth was yelling telling something. Not wanting to be pulled in between their fight at the moment, Henry quickly looked around the shop and pointed at exploding snap cards as he spoke " do you play exploding snap Alexa?"

Alexa was glad that Henry felt comfortable enough to talk to her when it was just the two of them. He seemed really nice, and have the bluest eyes… Not that that mattered, of course! Just an observation…
When he told her he played with his brother, she nodded. “How long have you guys been playing together?” Then another thought occurred to her. “Is he here? Your brother?”
Alexa grinned widely when he said that they could maybe play chess at Hogwarts sometime. “I definitely want to!” She said with a slight laugh, and then blushed, wondering if she had sounded too eager. She shook her head slightly; what was it about him that made her more self-conscious than usual?
She saw Henry look around the shop, and wondered if he was checking out other items he was interested in. Then he suddenly asked her about exploding snap, the card game. She had seen it played at Hogwarts, but had never played herself. “No, I’m afraid not, but I would like to learn! It looks like a fun game.” She smiled, remembering a towering card pile in the Hufflepuff common room, making it quite tall before the whole thing exploded with a loud “bang!” It had definitely been interesting to watch.
“What other kinds of wizarding games do you play?” She asked, while looking around for Alina.

Henry ran a hand through his hair as he smiled over at Alexa, he was glad that he met the girl she definitely was someone that seemed like a amazing friend.
Henry glanced at her as he thought of her question and counted through dates and years to find the answer before he would say " since I was 7 we been playing together but he had been playing since he was 6. Were eight years a part by that age difference usually doesn't matter that much," Henry laughed a bit at the next question as he let his eyes drift off toward the window where his siblings were arguing back toward Alexa as he spoke " yeah, both my brother and twin are here."
" do you have any siblings Alexa?" Henry spoke as he ran a hand through his hair and occasionally fiddled with the ends of his jacket as he listened to Alexa before smiling himself, " I'll be looking forward to it," he was looking forward to playing wizard chess or normal chess with Alexa either sounded like fun to the boy.
Henry nodded toward Alex's as he let his eyes drift onto the exploding snap cards. He played it once or twice at godric hollow but never got to into it although now seeing how many play at Hogwarts, he is willing give it another try as he spoke toward Alexa " maybe I could teach you and we could play again also?" Henry smiled at her before looking around for Alina as he wondered where she went off to.
" Uh no, not really. But what about you, know any other wizarding or muggle games?" Henry replied to Alexa as he glanced at her and noticed her bright green eyes before looking away again.

She glanced over a few of the things on the shelf next to her and read over the labels of what they claimed to do and she wondered how many students had made a stop in this store to get some pranks for the upcoming year. Surely there was enough under this one roof to cause a large amount of chaos.
Alina looked to Alexa and her new friend talking. She was proud of Alexa for coming out of her comfort zone and talking more. At one point she had been so shy she wouldn't dare be standing in one of the stores in Diagon Alley striking up conversation with a near stranger but here she was. Good for her.
Deciding to keep a distance, she glanced back to the package of another of the products. Often she dominated the conversation and so it was best to just keep away. Alexa was probably tired of hearing her constant rambling and Henry would grow tired of it sooner or later.
But there was only so much in front of her to occupy herself with so she finally popped over to where they were. "No rush, truly. But I'll be outside when you two are ready," she said and flashed a smile.

So sorry for the delay! I've been writing final papers for school!
Alexa smiled and nodded at Henry’s explanation of playing chess. From what she could tell, he and his older brother were very close. When he mentioned they were here, he didn’t seem too excited about it. She hesitated for a moment, and then asked out of curiosity, “Really? Which ones are they?” She smiled at him again.
“Oh no, it’s just me and my parents. I don’t mind it that way; I get some time to myself, which is nice. But I’ve always wondered what it would be like to have siblings!” Alexa couldn’t help but think it was cute, the way Henry kept running his hand through his hair and messing it. Then she heard his next statement, and her smile grew. “I’ll be looking forward to it, as well!” She said with a laugh.
When he offered to teach her exploding snap, she was excited. She’d always wanted to learn how to play the fun game, but hadn’t known who to ask to teach her. “Henry, that would be great. I’ve always wanted to play, so that sounds perfect!”
Alexa blushed slightly. She knew plenty of Muggle games, but was slightly embarrassed of her knowledge. Hopefully Henry wasn’t one of those people that worried about blood statuses. “Yeah, I’m Muggle-born, so I know quite a few Muggle games,” she said quietly. She hoped he wouldn’t judge.
Alina walked by with her purchases and said that she would be waiting outside for them. She seemed happy enough, but Alexa would hate to make her wait. Anyway, she didn’t have the extra gold to buy anything in here, anyway. It was all just window-shopping. “Henry, did you want to get anything in here, or should we go join Alina?” She checked out the window and saw her friend waiting patiently.

When Henry heard her question he felt the back of his neck go red with embarrassment but luckily it didn't matter since she started to talk about her family and life as a only child. " Your family still sounds great Alexa and for your question," Henry ran a hand through his hair again to ease his nerves as he pointed toward his two siblings outside the store; the girl looked like Henry just with longer brownish hair that ran to her back and the boy was around 6'1 and had brown eyes not to mention lighter skin.
"Those are my siblings; Arthur and Annabeth," Henry spoke before looking back at Alexa's bright green eyes which he found pretty. As they stated to talk about games both wizarding and muggle, Henry nodded toward her as he spoke " then what if we play wizarding chess and exploding snap one time then your favorite muggle games the next time?"
Henry smiled up at Alexa and watched as her reddish hair almost danced in the light from the windows and fortunately he turned away when Alina came over to them and spoke. Henry nodded toward them both and looked back over to his siblings as he spoke " uh no and anyway I should he going really. My siblings are waiting for me and I think we had to leave a few minutes ago but it was amazing talking and meeting you both. I hope to see you both again at Hogwarts," Henry then waved toward Alexa and Alina after biding them a goodbye he exited the store and walked toward his brother and twin.
Henry knew the two were in a argument as he walked up he heard Annabeth " who shut it Arthur! One prank item won't cost much, your just to much of a idiot to buy me one!" before hearing Arthur in a more clam voice say " Anna we only have one or two sickles left which we need to save," Henry would have rather not continued listening to them so he approached as he spoke " hey Art, uh Anna! I'm assuming you have everything Art then could we leave now?" Henry heard his twin muttered " whatever," before heading toward the leaky cauldron. Henry looked at Arthur with a smile which his brother return and walked down to leaky cauldron with him

Alexa smiled brightly at Henry. “Sure! Let’s start with wizard chess when we get back to Hogwarts!” Now she has a new chess mate!
After Alexa asked about Alina, Henry said he needed to join his family, as they were getting ready to go, and Alexa found herself feeling a little sad that Henry would not be joining them further on their shopping adventure. She was starting to like him… As a friend, of course! He seemed really cool, to say the least.
After Henry said goodbye, Alexa took one last look around the wacky store. There were plenty of things that year she would like to have, but she was saving up for a pet, which she wanted all the more than say, a chess set, at the moment. Well, it’s not like the store was going anywhere, she thought. There was always next year, and many years after.
Alexa exited the store, then joined Alina outside. “Hey,” she said with a warm smile. “ Looks like it’s just you and me now! Do you have any more shopping you need to get done today? I’d be happy to keep you company!” Alexa smiled again. It was good to be hanging out with Alina again, even if there was no Clifton. She felt a momentary dampening of her spirits, when thinking of the loss of her friend, but made herself brighten back up, for Alina’s sake.

"I think I'm just about done," she said and paused to pull her list out of her pocket. Her eyes took a moment to scan over the words that were written. Got that. Got that. Got that. "Yep, seems to me I've gotten everything. Actually, to be honest, I got MORE than every---"
Her words were interrupted as a man approached them. "Miss Alina," he said and she glanced up. She wished he'd drop the formality already with the MISS part. At least he no longer called her Miss Rosier like he did when he first started working for her father. "Your things have already been sent home and Margie has a nice lunch waiting."
Alina smiled. One didn't turn down Margie's cooking and one didn't keep Margie's cooking waiting. The cook at Updown Court was the nicest woman you'd ever meet...until you made her wait to come to a meal. She knew better and smiled. "Right then. Alexa, I've gotta be going," she paused to look around the street where they were standing. There were still a lot of students out and about gathering their school supplies so at least she wasn't leaving her entirely alone. "I'll see you at school, then? Second Year, ready or not!" She stepped forward and gave Alexa a big hug before leaving with James.
Alina has left the thread. ...But Simon can always continue this =)
