Distracted by a Novel PV Finished

Akari exited the classroom and followed along quickly through the corridors and into the next room. The Defence Against the Dark Arts class. A small smile spread across her face as she poked her head in and looked around. She had taken one or two classes there, and as she had mentioned before she had already grown fond of the class. She could tell that she would make some great memories there in the years to come.

As she stared in her eyes came across a big beautiful window in the back that looked out onto the grounds and now was letting the light of the sunset seep into the classroom, creating a lovely golden glow. She enjoyed it for a couple of seconds before her faced changed into a slightly alarmed expression because if the sun was setting it had to mean that dinner was soon or possibly even now.
"Good gracious... I completely lost track of time. I think it is time for supper" Akari exclaimed stepping back out into the hall and looking over at Miranda before continuing.
"We should probably head to the great hall. Thank you again for everything. Perhaps we can finish the rest of the tour another time?" She asked and regardless of the answer she was extremely grateful for what she had been shown and hoped that she will be able to repay the kindness to her one day.

Miranda had been waiting for Akari a few steps away from the door, but took an automatic step forwards at the look of alarm on the younger girl's face as she finished her inspection. Fortunately, Miranda was quick to relax when Akari explained the reason for her expression.

"It is?" Miranda replied, looking abashed. "Sorry, I had no idea! Good on you for noticing." She glanced around the hallway, looking a bit distracted now. "And sure, I have no problem with continuing later. Here, I'll take you to the Great Hall, seeing as I'll be heading there too." She glanced back at Akari, a grin spreading across her face, then abruptly turned on her heel and headed off down the corridor, searching for the staircase she knew was nearby.

The trip to the main hall was brief, being an area that was hard to miss, and Miranda had them there in a few minutes flat. At the doors to the Great Hall, she bid Akari goodbye, then headed into the room in the direction of the Ravenclaw table. After the tour, the young Ravenclaw was famished. She could use something to fill her stomach before she returned to her studies in the dorm rooms.
