Miranda looked up in surprise to see Paisley, the girl she'd met while trying to read in that big oak a couple days ago. "Sure," she replied, with a quick nod. "Just be careful. It won't do to get either of us hit right off the bat." Even if the Slytherin girl was a year younger than her, it would still work out well to have an ally in this game. Less chance of getting soaked...unless, of course, she got turned on or made a foolish mistake. Which, judging from her luck, might just happen.

She peered over the barrier and saw all the other contestants either hiding themselves, or trying to hit other players. The girl who'd been handing out buckets of water balloons had also managed to nail a few players, judging from their soaking clothes. So far, so good. That meant less competition, even if no one was out yet.

Miranda glanced around the field again, wondering what to do next, but was interrupted by yet another girl sliding behind their protective cover. With a slight yelp, Miranda twisted around with her water gun and aimed a shot at the newcomer, trying to hit her before she had the chance to soak either herself or Paisley., and working to get out of the way at the same time, just in case the Ravenclaw girl managed to get a shot off.

Katrina grinned wickedly as the jet of water escaping her water gun hit home as her target dove behind her box. She was going to get her again this time.

Katrina took a few steps back more to the side of the boxes, she was more surveying and taking in everything that was going on, now. She wanted to eliminate someone so she could have a box to hide behind. Now there seemed to be two behind every single box. This was going to be a long game.

Then, out of the sky, came a water balloon. Katrina turned to see it hit Adonis on the head. She gasped and cringed. One more hit and he would be out. "Adonis!" she yelped, instantly wishing she had stayed quiet. The more she talked the more of a target she would become.

Who had done that? Because they were going to be Katrina's next target. Then out of the sky came another balloon, hitting someone behind a box. Katrina's gaze followed along to see someone on the side lines. So that is what Alan had meant. This whole game just got a lot more intense.

Katrina held her loaded water gun at the ready. She was going to win this thing. Even if she was soaking wet by the end of it. Time to eliminate.

As Iris Fields
Iris scowled as he [Arjan] managed to dodge her water balloon and another attack from the opposite side. It seemed there was a lot more agility there than she had taken into account. Sure, she looked like someone who was simply skinny, but she had real agility from her years in martial arts. He looked pretty muscular, but simple dodging didn't usually come with that build.

Iris was glad that no one had taken her as a target yet. She thought that too soon. A head [Lucille] and a loaded arm popped up from behind a box. She had just enough time to realize what was happening and jump out of the way as it came soaring at her. "Don't go for me, go for him!" Iris shouted at the girl, pointing at the boy [Arjan].

Iris frowned and grabbed another water balloon from her bucket. She tossed it in her hand once before reeling back and throwing it as hard as she could at the boy again. There was no way he could dodge three attacks in a row. She didn't look like she was competitive, but behind her façade, she was as determined as they got. She was going to win.

Before looking back at the Ilvermorny girl, Lucille had thought she'd done a pretty good job, though by now she had also realized her target had dodged out of the way and began telling her to aim at some muscular looking Durmstrang guy. "Are you INSANE?!"Lucille yelled back at the girl. wow, that sounds fun, getting beat by some Durmstrang dude twice my size-" yeah, not going to happen, maybe a team up though? Lucille thought about the idea for a few seconds. Surely if both of them aimed at the guy the chances would go up? Still very unsure of this random idea, Lucille ducked her head as she made her way to the Ilvermorny girl. Not sure how the girl would react, Lucille put her gun in air as she began her proposal."Uhm..If I help you get that guy, then I'll make sure not to make a shot at you again."The eagle finished only before adding one more thing to her deal."and you won't make aim at me either. Do we have a deal?"Lucille asked, still wondering to herself why she decided this in the first place. Not waiting for the girl to respond, Lucille aimed her gun at the Durmstrang boy, hoping that it wouldn't miss him completely. With all of her worried thoughts still swirling, Lucille had forgotten about the frizzy haired girl from earlier. So let's just say Lucille needs to be a bit more careful..

Waiting around to see the curly haired girl's fate didn't pay off like Carol had hoped, at least in the beginning anyway, because right after the girl walked over to the Ilvermorny student with her gun in the air? "HAH"was probably Caroline's first reaction. The curly haired girl would have made a fun target, but Caroline had bigger ideas. And although I'm pretty sure she'd have a lot a more to say, the witch left her hiding place without so much as a single glance towards the others hiding there, this time she'd be heading for her actual target though. Who would that target be anyway you ask? Whoever had made the unfortunate decision to stay behind box five, that's who."Cya later suckers!"Carol called back as she made her way across the grounds to box five, seeing a Hogwart's student's head peaking out, the serpent would try to aim her green balloon at them for maximum splash to happen. Not wanting to be their future target, yet still wanting to see her (hopefully) victim's fate, Carol ran over to the area around box eight, still wanting a clear view of her attack."If this misses then I swear.."Carol muttered frustratingly. Dealing with foreign drama was one thing, but missing a shot and getting hit? That was a whole other world of frustration Caroline did not want to enter.

Much to her pleasure, @Miranda Everest was quick to say yes. She said to be care not to get hit to quickly and she smirked, giving a nod that basically said of course. Paisley wasn’t big on games, but if she was going to play she was going to go big or go home. She’d never been one to do anything half-heartedly, something she suspected she’d learned from her mother, bless her constant whirlwind of annoyingly chaotic passion.

She peered over the box as well, watching the melee from their safe spot. Several people were hit right off the bat, though there was one guy in the middle who was quite frankly…terrifying. He pinged person after person but seemed to expertly dodge everyone in between. His throws were accurate and powerful and she winced when someone was hit. That was probably going to leave a mark. Her brown eyes shifted around, making sure to watch Miranda’s back as well as her own and, it seemed, vice versa. Then, suddenly her partner’s eyes widened and she was shooting towards Paisley. For a moment she thought she’d been double crossed, but the stream cleared her shoulder toward someone behind her. Without wasting a second, the Bellweather turned on her knees and fired at the newcomer as well. It always did well to double-tap.

The problem with being quick to act meant that she had sacrificed a shot for positioning. That was all too apparent now. A quick glance around showed that the center of the game had been just about cleared out entirely, save for her and a few other stragglers. What was worse, she hadn't even managed to gain anything. Frustratingly, he shot had missed. She, Greta, had missed. In Quidditch, she was known to have one of the best shots on her team. Her aim, although by no means supernatural, was spectacular. And here she was, having targeted the obnoxious half-naked boy, a very apparent target, and hadn't even managed to nick him.

Clearly this muggle contraption was malfunctioning.

Lips pursed into a pout as her brows knitted themselves together. This just wouldn't do. She hadn't been raised to be a child that simply 'did their best'. There's had been the rearing to 'do' the best. To 'be' the best. The boy might have managed to avoid her assault in the first bit of the game, but she wasn't just going to let him get away without a fight. Greta was gunning for him now.

A determined expression of resolved etched itself firmly upon her countenance. Or at least, that's what she liked to believe it looked like. For all her soft features and diminutive stature, Greta did her best to make herself an imposing image. If not that, then to embody the aura of a lither stalker. Perhaps she wasn't quite the brave or imposing lion depicted as her country's national animal, but she could be something else. A serval, perhaps. Or, better yet — a Margay! Indeed! Margarethe the Margay. Soft upon her feet, quick with lightning reflexes, and an underrated ferocity when challenged. Yes, that seemed to suit her well.

But, for all her internal bravado and renewed sense of resolve, to any outsider, she just looked as though she were frightened. Or confused. Possibly even a combination of the two with a healthy sprinkling of hesitant. Doe-wide seafoam green eyes set themselves upon her target of choice, knuckled whitening as she gripped her gun tighter. Another furtive glance was cast around the battlefield, eyes darting about to make sure that she didn't have more pressing individuals to worry about. It was all well and good to go on the offensive, but not at the cost of leaving yourself open to attack. Fortunately, it didn't appear as though anyone in particular was looking her way — not that she could easily tell given how many had dove behind boxes.

Onward it was! Crouching where she was, she took aim at the box behind which her adversary had taken cover. Patience. She would have to exercise that virtue and wait for the right moment to strike, just when he ducked out from behind cover to take a shot himself. Or on the off chance that he accidentally left himself exposed. Sure, it was going to be a bit hard to hit him since it would be a smaller area. But not impossible. Then again... on second thought... what kind of prowler would she be if she blindly waited for her adversary to expose himself. It would be better to get into the position to strike. As stealthily as she was able, she padded forward in a crouched position, coming up on box #6. Only once she had a clear shot would she take it.

Alexei arched his eyebrow at the stranger's inquiry as to what his plan was. His plan was to throw water balloons at people that had annoyed him thus far. Beyond that, he didn't have much, which was out of character for him. "Take out the boxes near me and then wait for the rest to take out one another," he replied, his Russian accent thick. The Hogwarts student introduced themself and Alexei nodded slightly. "I am Alexei Petrov of Durmstrang. Good to meet you, Cash."

He was startled when his companion was hit by a balloon. Pity. Still, he decided he would wait on attacking Cash since he had more immediate opponents to deal with. After waiting for a moment, he selected a balloon and a target. Obviously, it was the girly haired little punk that had decided to dump his drink on Alexei at the Welcome Barbeque and then to punch him at that campfire two days ago. Yup, that punk had to go. He squeezed the water balloon slightly before chucking it as hard as he could at Girl Hair. This was just the start of how he would retaliate for the soreness and embarrassment he had received in the prior days.

Henry peeked over his box as he watched water fly in all direction either hitting or missing their targets, he ducked back behind his box as he looked over at Charles and smiled as he was glad neither of them got hit, well not yet at least.
Henry was still debating if he should shoot someone or stay hidden at least until some people got out first, that would ensure less targets and less people trying to target him and his friend. As he clutched his water gun tight in his hand, he peeked out as he saw a blonde hair girl approach a box with 3 students hiding behind it, wow that girl has courage to risk getting hit, just to get a shot at someone, I wonder if she wants to team up because it might be worth to have her on our team. On second thought she also might double cross us, I haven't see her around Hogwarts either so maybe she's from Dumstrang. She sort of looks like she's from there, as Henry watched the girl attempt to shoot her water gun at the half naked boy who he remembered had shouted something about first years teaming up, now was behind a box with two others. Henry thought about shooting at the half naked boy to so if him and that girl both shot him then that would be one less person who would target him and Charles but again Henry wasn't sure about if his aim would be enough to shoot the half naked boy all the way over there. Henry then looked to the other side and saw a blonde hair kid throwing a water balloon at what looked at Eyre and Henry wondered if he would make it, as Henry was also wondering if he should shoot Eyre just in case he also made it and Eyre would be out of the game and it would still mean less people would target him and his friend.

Henry still had two lives left so while he had to be careful he could quickly shoot someone right now then hide, he then remember that girl who was handing out balloons. She was also throwing them at kids, Henry didn't like his chances but he had a plan forming in his mind as he turned to look as his friend and spoke " I don't know if it's good but it's a plan, while we cover each other from other attacks. We can also see who is already one life short or getting targeted then target them to and hope we make it, that way while we watch each others back we can also help our chances of not getting targeted by target the ones who are either one life short or already getting targeted." Henry finished and peeked his eyes above the box again as he sat his water gun on the box and stayed very still and quiet as he didn't want to draw him or Charles any attention, he spoke again but this time quieter " Cover me Charles," as he then aimed his water gun silently at Eyre and shot his water gun at him, he also slightly hoped that both him and the other blonde hair boy who also targeted Eyre would hit him, twice and he was out of the game because that meant less people would try to target him and Charles, also since he helped the blond boy out with shooting at Eyre he hoped that might have been enough and he wouldn't target either him or Charles for the time being.

Eyre was unlucky enough to meet eyes with Alexei. Oh, shit. He had nearly almost forgotten about how he'd punched him at the campfire, and he knew that the Russian was going to do all he could in his power to get his revenge. This was confirmed when Alexei threw the water balloon directly at his head. All he could do in the meantime was dodge, and then aim at him when he had the chance. He'd be overjoyed if he got the pleasure of taking the Durmstrang brat out of the game. He'd already made his life miserable enough thus far.

Then, to his dismay, Henry, the boy that he'd met first at Hogwarts, started shooting at him too! No way he was going to get out that fast. He decided to dodge again, hopefully evading his attack. This made Eyre a bit frustrated. He hoped that luck would be on his side, and that he wouldn't get hit by them and get out of the game, or hit by the person throwing balloons at people. He didn't deserve that, either.

Hearing the pump of the water gun as a pressurized stream of water came at the boy, Remi. Thankfully, he was in cover.

Seeing the water being ricochet off the edge of box six, his new home and where he'll be safe. His heart pumped, as his brief time with dealing with muggle objects was quite boring for him but these water pumpers were great!

He squinted his eyes as this girl decided to make him a public enemy for being a first-year, of course, and totally not the fact he brought most of the attention onto himself for yelling in mock-french for everyone to hear him.

As the girl took her chance to shoot at Remi, the little boy didn't take the chance to fire back but instead, hug the wall of the box's edge while circling - trying to get out of Greta's line of sight while making it harder for her to try to take a shoot. With his small frame and him constantly moving around, it was going to be quite bothersome to try to hit Remi with a Muggle weapon.

His voice, giggling madly,
"Hey lady-girl, wouldn't it be wise to team up, huh?"
He said, trying to offer her a chance for a short-term alliance. Of course, he was going to keep his head-down, doubting she'll accept the deal, still as he kept darting around box 6, avoiding any chance of getting sniped off.
"Watch your back!"
He tried lying to her and wanted to see her reaction from him yelling that out.
