Character Questionnaire

Ooh nice! Great idea :D
Where were they raised?
Oxford
Is their family wealthy? Poor? Comfortable?
Somewhere inbetween comfortable and poor, though leaning towards comfortable. With three daughters to raise and only a bookshop to get income from it's sometimes hard for Ebony to properly support her family, but she tries her best and the girls never complain.
How do they feel about that?
Oops, already answered that! Lucia understands their financial situation and though she occasionally wishes her family had more money she is ok with how it is.
Did they have a happy childhood?
Yup xD If anyone wants to see more you can have a look at the history bit on Lucia's profile, I can't be bothered to write it all out again here lol.
Before their Hogwarts letter, what was their most influential life event? Good or bad.
It would probably be a tie between Antony Fox leaving and her first experience of magic.
What is their favorite clothing style?
Blue skirts or summer dresses - Lucia's not really a fan of thick winter clothing, though during the summer she does have to sacrifice a lot of suncream!
Do they have any favorite game(s)?
She used to like playing hide-and-seek with her littlest sister... until said littlest sister tried to hide on the top of a bookshelf. It didn't end well.
What sort of music do they like?
Music is a huge part of Lucia's life, and she loves muggle pop songs especially - though not some. For example, she hates rapping, and music that has been overly-modified digitally, to the point where you can't even tell what instruments there are. She especially loves music with lyrics that 'strike a chord with her', and doesn't often listen to instrumentals.
What's their favorite book genre?
Probably a tie between fairy tales and romance. She likes myths as well - Greek, Roman, Egyptian, whatever - as long as they have a happy ending. Which sadly isn't often.
Which class is their favorite?
Astronomy.
How would they prefer to travel? (Hippogriff, broom, car, etc.)
Floo powder. In her opinion, it's the least uncomfortable of all Wizarding transport, and she wouldn't even consider using muggle transport unless she really had to.
Is there a broom they want? If they already have their favorite, what makes it great?
No - Lucia's not very sporty and is content with sharing an old broom with her sisters. It seems to really belong to Willow more that all of them sharing it, though!
What do they look for in a friend?
Acceptance, creativity, and a love of music.
What would your character see in the Mirror of Erised?
True love, which doesn't really have a proper 'picture' to go with it. Probably her holding hands with someone who loves her and who she loves back.
Is there someone they wish they could meet?
Merlin
Are they typically underestimated (in strength, intelligence, maturity, etc)?
Sometimes her sister Briar thinks that because she doesn't pay attention in some classes, she doesn't like to learn. She does, but only things she wants to learn. She tends to view the rest as pointless.
What do they like about themselves?
She likes her musical ability.
Do they have a motto, mantra, or favorite quote?
"And they all lived happily ever after."

Character Questionnaire

How do they feel about that?
Illowy doesn't think much about it. If there was every anything with in reason that she wanted or wanted to try, she was given it; such as her dance classes or taking up violin or having nice art supplies. The most that was ever expected of her was to always give it her best go and to be grateful and not waste what was given. Just as well, it was always pressed that studies came before everything and her mother wasn't afraid to take things away if she felt Illowy wasn't giving her best during her education.
Did they have a happy childhood?
Before starting her second year of school at Hogwarts, Illowy would have said yes. Looking back on it now, she's still thinks she grew up fairly happy, but she's much more aware of her family's dark past now and that it could heavily impact her future.
Before their Hogwarts letter, what was their most influential life event? Good or bad.
Dancing lead for her level in the Christmas recital.

What sort of music do they like?
Sea shanties and folk music holds a special place in Illowy's heart.
What's their favorite book genre?
Wizard fiction
Which class is their favorite?
Its a tie between Charms and DATDA
How would they prefer to travel? (Hippogriff, broom, car, etc.)
Illowy would rather take the Floo Network, a Portkey or even the train before ever flying voluntarily.
Is there a broom they want? If they already have their favorite, what makes it great?
Illowy doesn't have a favorite broom, and doesn't really want one; mainly because she isn't skilled in flying one yet. Perhaps when she has more confidence, she'll take interest.
What do they look for in a friend?
Someone she feels she can trust and that can understand her. Illowy isn't very good at socializing, and is very aware she comes off cold or meaner then she intends to at time. She needs someone who can bare with her while she tries to navigate the world of 'making friends'.

To see herself as a great and renowned witch. Perhaps even a celebrated duelist or auror
What is their strongest trait? (Feel free to list two or three)
Intelligent, loyal, and dedicated.

At one point, she would have said her mother. However with their relationship on the rocks, the person she looks up to most at the moment if her Head Of House, Hjørdis Jensen.
Is there someone they wish they could meet?
Illowy has a list of people she wishes she could meet that is about as long as her arm. Hermione Granger is at the top of that list.
Are they typically underestimated (in strength, intelligence, maturity, etc)?
Often. People don't always expect her to be as ruthless in duels or as sharp of tongue as she tends to be.
What do they like about themselves?
She takes a lot of pride in her artistic ability within art, music and dance.
Do they have a motto, mantra, or favorite quote?
Growing up, her mother was very adamant about the pride within their family What is acceptable behavior and what isn't.
"Magnards do not cry. Magnards do not show weakness. Magnards do not seek pity. Magnards do not cause a scene. Magnards do not entertain petty fights, they finish them."
Her mother's words constantly echo around in her mind.

I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

• Is their family wealthy? Poor? Comfortable?
Aurélie and her grandma aren’t very wealthy. She considers them to be between comfortable and poor. It depends on how well business is in the bakery shop. Aurélie’s birth family, who she doesn’t know, were both Pureblood wizards from a wealthy household. They left Aurélie quite an amount of galleons for her to use when she started school at Hogwarts. Aurélie was never aware of this since she never knew her birthparents, until she found out about the wizarding world.

Aurélie is used to living with her Nan, she doesn’t need luxury or nice things to feel happy. For her having family and friends that love you is more than enough.
• Did they have a happy childhood?
For the girl, it was an overall happy childhood despite feeling lonely all her life. Some events were horrible but it didn’t take the happy spirit out of her.
• Before their Hogwarts letter, what was their most influential life event? Good or bad.
Aurélie has had a good and a bad event happen to her. The good one being adopted by Nanna in her first year of life. The bad one happened when she was ten years old. She was lured and attacked by a werewolf who caused her to have a big change in her life. Aurélie had become a lycantrope.
• What is their favorite clothing style?
Aurélie likes a cottage core aesthetic. Simple, adorable and lots of textures to make her feel comfy. When she dresses to impress, a cute but spicy dress is her go-to outfit. On lazy days she can often be found warm and snuggled in an oversized jumper and jeans or sweats.
• Do they have any favorite game(s)?
Her favourite muggle game is hide-and-seek and she likes board games too. Not having much knowledge of the Wizarding world yet, she hasn’t got a favourite wizard game yet.
• What sort of music do they like?
Aurélie likes soft jazz music but can be found singing her heart out to some pop songs frequently.
• What's their favorite book genre?
The Scottish girl mostly reads detective novels and murder mysteries. Although, she also enjoys fairy tales and fantasy stories.

• How would they prefer to travel?
Aurélie prefers travelling by train because she very much enjoys the views and the comforting swaying of the cabins makes her feel safe.
• Is there a broom they want? If they already have their favourite, what makes it great?
She is not a big fan of heights. Although she loves watching Quidditch games and supporting other students, she dislikes flying herself.
• What do they look for in a friend?
