So am I not allowed to ask to be a metamorphmagus now I've been here more than 30 days? Is there nothing I can do? Would it be possible to become a part metamorphmagus? As in one of my parents is and I am too but I can't really control it or something?
I don't have a train of thought. I have 7 trains on 4 tracks, all narrowly avoiding each other when the paths cross, all the passengers are screaming and there's that annoyingly calm female conductors voice in the background.

Yes, now that the 30 day time period has passed it isn’t possible to have a special race or ability. There is no such thing as ‘part’ metamorphmagus, as it is a talent, not a race. In Ava’s case, she cannot control her ability well, as is the case for most young metamorphmagi.

I’d say this entire page as well as the mentor program are helpful when first joining, and are easy to find. I’d recommend you check out the mentor program right away if you’re still confused!

Can I suggest (unless it's already a thing and I'm just blind) that that information is placed somehwere obviosu for newcomers cause I didn't notice this until after the 30 days was up.

This may not be in the welcoming owl sent to older players (it wasn't in mine, but that was several years ago), but was definitely in the welcoming owl of anybody who joined after December 16, 2022Race System/Abilities System: players can roleplay as some special races (such as half-Veela). If you are interested in playing as a special race, you will need to apply for this within 30 days of validation. We cannot validate accounts that mention special races because there are rules and require a fully informed player. Do not discuss those special powers or traits in your application. We will ask for you to remove them.
About wanting to make a request anyway: your application would be denied since you didn't apply within the timeframe, sorry.

@Irina Shevel - If you wanted to have a metamorphagus-related plot point, you could have a parent who's a metamorphagus. According to the site lore on metamorphagi, the gene often skips multiple generations, so it would be concievable that one of Irina's parents was a metamorphagus without her being one. Irina wouldn't be able to get any sort of advantage from her parent being a metamorphagus, but it could make for fun writing (eg you could explore her feelings having not inherited this trait)! If you wanted to do this though, you would have to re-apply for index, stating the change and making it clear that Irina herself is not a metamorph.
