FAQ — Questions
I am beginning to plan for a new character that I would do after deactivating Valarie and I am interested in this character having a disability or a medical condition but I wanted to make sure it would be okay for her to have
Here are the few things I was wondering if she could have:

-A prosthetic leg. She would loose her leg in a car crash that would result in her mother’s death

-Braces on her legs and walks with crutches. As a result of the crash that killed her mother, she would wear braces on her legs and use crutches to help her get around

If either of these are allowed, I will verify more. I would like for her to be able to remain with her disability because it is important that people with disabilities are represented even on sites like this. Please let me know if this is okay so I can plan for this. Also please let me know if there is a way for this to be corrected.

I’m sorry. Did I step on your moment?
To change the world it takes a little genius.
How on earth did you manage to turn a safety room into a not-so-safety room.

I know Shiawase Mamori is in a wheelchair and uses crutches (IRL I'm on crutches and use wheelchair for long distances) on HiO so that's allowed. Not sure what the reason for her remaining in such a condition is though as I believe staff say most normal ailments/disabilities can be cured through magic/potions etc... only disabilities you're born with such as blindness (Annie Morgan's character is blind) are things that can't be cured through magic/potions at Hogwarts or in the magical world.

Since you stated that the disabilities would have happened due to an accident, I'm not sure whether it would make sense that she couldn't just use magic to get rid of the conditions? But I could be wrong!

The first option would work if your character has no access to magical medicine. The second one would need a very good reason because a leg injury would be able to be healed rather easily with magic.

A lot of these are self limiting because it would be hard to take certain abilities (like evasive maneuvers) because your writing will need to make sense also. Just in addendum to what was said above.

There is something about ambition, how it not only propels you but also defines you.

No, no need to.

The world is in despair not because there are many bad people, but because there are many good people who do nothing.

Hello @Duvessa Ember.
Natural haircolour cannot be reindexed, appearance (things that can't naturally be changed, you can still cut or dye your hair) is set in stone once you were indexed. Hairdye is always fine, same as makeup or colourful contacts. Reindex is for changing the backstory and getting major future plots approved beforehand. It's basically an insurance for both index and players. ~ @Opelia Winters
