Since I've already taken an unannounced 2-day break, it makes a bit of sense to just say something here, and that's what I'm about to do.

I'm a terrible online learner, which means my school work has been suffering from all the crap going on in the world. Because of that, I am now trying to work much harder on all my classes, and if that means taking a break from this amazing site then that's what I'll have to do. I'll probably check in here a few times a week, plus the discord server also. I will check owls, threads, DMs, and anything else that applies to much MUCH much slower, but I really want to say this will not mean a month-long hiatus or something. A week will be how I start, and if my time management skills get any better, I'll be back on and active as usual.

Got some real-life things happening at the moment that I need to focus on, as well as a ton of staff work. So most of my HiO time will be going into trying to tackle that list, slowly working on replies. I am around for questions (ideally owl or DM me on discord - you can also tag me if needed). But probably will be around less till approximately end of October.

PSA to everyone I'm threading with - I will be significantly less active between now and Nov 1 (yay early action college apps!). I will still be hopefully writing a bit, but modded threads will have priority, so I will likely take a bit to reply to most of my regular threads. I will also still be on discord, so if anything comes up, DM me!

Hello all you lovely ladies and gentlemen and thank you for gathering here today. I would like to take a moment of silence to mourn the loss of a very highly respected young wizard. Now we could go on and on about his many virtues, but in order to keep this short, unfortunately for this website, he will be rather quiet. Yes yes I know, devastating to hear.

'Tis a shame, but I shall be on here less frequently for an undetermined amount of time. However, being too kind and considerate as to completely deprive you of my company, I'll make sure to write a reply at least once a week (: After all, how could I ever stay away from you guys for long?

My sincerest apologies to those wonderful witches and wizards I've promised to RP with, but never fear! I'll still be around, just less so.
