What do you mean by rewrite?
I change the characters and the plot a bit so it fits wizards
If you mean something like there being real spells or potions in play in e.g. Cinderella, mentions perhaps of places and events in the wizarding world, or even rewriting them as historical events in the wizarding world that muggles took for wonder tales then I think such stories would be fine. I've done a couple myself, though haven't worked them up properly for being in the Library.

Do be aware: Disney is famous for rewriting or reworking actual classic folk tales; that said, be careful not to plagiarise a Disney rewrite as that might involve your writing in legal issues and copyright entanglements.

Feel free to read the real stories in the collections of Grimm or Anderson or Lang or Scheherazade and rewrite from those sources as they're all in the public domain!

I would urge you to channel your inner wizard story teller and give the stories your own personal touch as writer!
To be precise, my first story will be Melissa Albus White and the Evil Witch, changed fromm Snow White... added wizard parts, is that okay?
Magic mirrors, empotioned apples, glass coffins --- what can possibly go wrong! Be mindful that the names of the seven Dwarves (Sneezy, Doc, Dopey, etc) are all Disney. As I recall, they weren't named in the original tale. You could of course make them free or unbound Elves, like Dobby, and give them completely different names!

We have magical mirrors in the wizarding world. The Evil Witch could have used the draught of living death. Just give Melissa a good back story and plot!
Stepping in here before this escalates -

Please do not rewrite Disney stories or anything like this until staff have had a chance to discuss this and address it. It is being discussed behind staff doors and we will let you know if it's okay to write and post this on our site or not.

This is my former staff account.
I also play: Serena Towers (Graduated PC), Arjan Oberoi (Graduated iNPC), Xiomara Torres (Current Student)

I have another question: is it okay if I rewrite Disney stories and post it in shelves?
We have rules against plagiarism so no, we would expect you to write your own work, not redo someone else's.

I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but can I relocate certain stats when I go up a year? For example, if I had 9 in stamina but wanted to give two points to wisdom, would that be allowed?

Do you mean relocate 2 stat points so your stamina would be 7? In that case no, stat points can only be added onto.

But once you year up, you get five points to distribute amongst your stats. You get a stat cap of 15 in third year.

Once your stats are listed in your trunk you can never change them unless it's to add to them. Like if you had STA 9 and WIS 4 for Y1 when you become Y2 you will get +5 stat points to divide however you want. You could add your +5 points to WIS then to make your stats STA 9, WIS 9. But if you wanted to have less STA you cannot ever have less than STA 9 as that is what you originally started out with. You can never minus any stat points. You can only add stat points.
The +5 stat points you get from going up a year can be divided however you want, you can put some in STA, WIS, EVA, ARC, ACC or STR, depending on whatever stat you want more of. You just can't ever make any of your initial stat points lower. You can only make them higher.
